I want to ask your opinion on something. Do you believe that it's possible for someone to panic because of an unexpected pregnancy, and get married to someone they're not meant to be with forever? Because that's the situation I'm in. Please pray for me and the man I believe is the one I was meant to be with all this time.

Please listen to the Lord through Alwyn. I met my spouse when I wasn't walking with Jesus. Later we were saved, praise Jesus! But my husband is not that into Him and it's hard to have a red hot relationship with the Lord when the other is nonchalant. But like Alwyn says it's inevitable that the luke warm keeps the temp down, even when you desire to influence. We get along great in every other area, laugh together, have fun, etc., but please pray for my husband to fall in love with Jesus. And more of Jesus for me too!! Same situation for me and my husband. It was really tough when I got saved and on fire for God and he didn't understand and wasn't interested. But God taught me that the only way He can work on the situation is if I let it go completely and entrust it to Him completely. It took me a while to do that fully and it's still a daily process of letting go everyday and giving it to God fully everyday. It's so important to trust God with your situation. I am praying for you, sister. Psalm 37:3-5 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
I believe our Father is already working on your husband. I also believe it is time for you not to interfere with Father when He trains his son, and take him on his prodigal journey or Joseph s/o Jacob's journey. A wife can be a help meet (ezer in Hebrew) but do stay away from enabling him. I can testify that Father trains His sons differently from daughters. Their situations and circumstances will definitely involve breaking his rebellious spirit, and self-righteousness. I married a man I knew God was saying no to, but I didn't believe I'd ever find anyone else, and my family wasn't helping that mentality. Things were fine for a few years until our son was diagnosed with a severe disability, then he became incredibly abusive. We ended up divorcing, he remarried and divorced her too. Having to speak with him still gives me the anxiety I used to get when he would be so cruel in the past. I know I blew it on that one, and now am just praying asking for God to help me be content in being alone. I wish it wasn't so hard a want to let go of, but I know I don't have a choice if I want to adhere to God's Will. The wait is worth it, and I wish so much that I had listened to God instead of the world.
Ditto to this. I also got into a marriage that I now realize was not His ideal will. The marriage was not healthy, let’s say. And now I must stay single. I agree, it’s good to wait! I’ve told people that it’s better to be single and have lonely feelings than be in a marriage and feel alone. Though we are never alone with Jesus.

Sometimes God calls us to be single. Even if we don’t agree. Been single in Gods path 23 years. I raised my kids alone who are now 26 and 24. I prayed long time and waited then surrendered to him saying no. Even if people don’t want to hear it I lived it and now I’ve accepted it.
God is a loving Father and will never put any burden on his children. I don’t agree that he calls people to be single “against their will and desires”. This is not the heart of a loving father. We have to understand that God designed marriage and his intention and purpose for marriage has never changed. Some people are raised by single parents who choose to stay single and focus on raising their kids and may have been in a bad relationship the past. We have to recognise that we live in a different world and need to rely on the Holy Spirit to bring God’s sons and daughters together. If marriage is your heart desire take it to God in prayer and believe he has someone special for you and live it in his hands and get on with your life. God never puts any burden on his children by forcing them to be single when their heart desire is to be married. God bless you

Thank you SO much for obeying and honoring God by posting this video. Today I was fasting for this EXACT question! I have been with my boyfriend for 5 1/2 years and like you said, we are compatible, we get along so well, similar hobbies, but God is not at the center. God has saved me and I have been so hungry for more of Jesus, but my boyfriend is not saved and it has been hard to continue my walk with Christ when I am also trying to be respectful of his beliefs (buddhist) and not overwhelm him. He has been so respectful of my salvation but I know when trials and tribulations come he doesn’t have the foundation and we are unequally yoked. I want to continue growing towards who God called me to be and this was the exact sign I was looking for, now I need to change course trusting in God to provide for me and give me the words to say because our lives have become completely intertwined but I trust in God, and I am praying for fearlessness as I would need to move out and find my own apartment for the first time.😅🙏🏼 God bless you all, God has called you to be fearless; seek him first and everything will follow❤️
Alwyn, I remember when you said God said to you about a relationship you were in that you could be very happy with her but you would not be able to walk in your full destiny. So I do believe you have Kingdom marriage in your future to powerfully represent the Kingdom of God, as you are doing already. So, I will pray that this person is revealed to you soon. When it comes to Kingdom marriage even your future husband or wife may not seem like that's who God has for them. There is a lot of demonic influence on them, usually the spirit of Jezebel, and so He calls for the more transformed spouse to stand for them in prayer to help them heal from usually childhood trauma and be fully delivered and transformed into the image of Jesus. So, while they may be unequally yoked that may not always be the case. I just wanted to say that because I've heard it mentioned that God is not going to have the least likely candidate for you. He will reveal them to you but they're not ready for you yet. This is to increase your faith and love. But what you said about hot and lukewarm really hit me.

Hi Bridget, I usually don’t comment; but your comment jumped out at me. My daughter stepped away from a relationship (she’s 28) that was SO difficult to walk away from. Her ex bf is a wonderful young man: successful, great communicator- you could check off all the “worldly” boxes. But she truly wanted someone who runs after God as their first love. They loved each other dearly. But she chose to walk away (also wanted to stay pure). God has literally moved her from glory to glory since. Hope this edifies you. ❤️ She lives in Los Angeles and works in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer. And even w that- God has opened doors for her to reach so many of her “artists” friends and guide them to a GENUINE love and deep walk w the Lord. After the break-up, she also had her first open vision (awake), and her dreams and visions have vastly increased, too.

My daughter (Kiana) was also best friends w her bf. They had SO much in common…. EXCEPT the most important thing. Or should I say, the most important ONE! It def was not easy. But I believe, in your case, it will be worth it if you walk away (IF your bf does not choose to follow Christ). We always prayed for my daughters bf to accept Jesus as Savior. But she also knew she wanted someone to run hard after God… not just the “status quo Christian” (not meaning that as critical or judgmental)- but she did not want to be unequally yoked, and knew it would affect them long term. In your case you have been patient if it’s been 17 years. And ultimately- it comes down to a choice for your bf. That was Kiana’s little “push” from the HS. Realizing, her bf really does have a choice- free will, he knew her heart, but still chose the world. Seek God in this. I have come to the conclusion that marriage is not for me, through dreams I had. My mind is completely made up, I can't imagine myself with someone now. But I love and cherish marriage and encourage everyone to go for it God's way.
@4000jes It could be the Lord said the decision is between God and the person. But it can be a bit confusing when Apostle Paul says if you can't withstand it. Marry. I believe if the Lord has called you to it, you should be able to withstand it. Not to say satan won't play mind games, he does. But just make sure you are not throwing it the towel.

Her heart that He has given to love you with a deep Christ like love will move her to pray and fast like never before and God will carry her through this. Alwyn You are making mistakes and are incorrectly teaching us things that aren't in 2CORINTHIANS 6:14-19. You have confused a whole lot of people with your hot and lukewarm water analogy. First, 2CORINTHIANS 6:14 says, "(believers)don't be unequally yoked together with (unbelievers)..." Just because one is lukewarm that doesn't make them an unbeliever. Secondly, you yourself says the reason we are in the situations we are in in our marriages is because we are not making including Jesus in our interactions husband and wife...we aren't making Jesus the center of the marriage...our interactions don't revolve around Jesus...we aren't bringing Jesus along. Who makes us hot? God The partner who thinks they are hot and the other is not better think very hard on how did they got hot, before judging their partner. In continuing with your analogy of hot and lukewarm water. Didn't you say we don't bring Jesus along in our marriages? We have left Jesus out of the marriage. In your cup of hot water who is making the water hot? JESUS Don't you think then that as you previously have said it, by inviting Jesus in our cup of hot water... what lukewarm water is going to bring JESUS THE HOT ONES temperature down? It is you who said we have to include Jesus in everything and in interpreting the scripture above incorrectly leads you to contradict yourself. Pour the hot water in the cup, pour the lukewarm water in the same cup. We aren't the ones who make ourselves hot, the fire of God Holy Spirit makes us hot. But my husband is not that into Him and it's hard to have a red hot relationship with the Lord when the other is nonchalant. We get along great in every other area, laugh together, have fun, etc., but please pray for my husband to fall in love with Jesus. And more of Jesus for me too!! Same situation for me and my husband. It was really tough when I got saved and on fire for God and he didn't understand and wasn't interested. But God taught me that the only way He can work on the situation is if I let it go completely and entrust it to Him completely. It took me a while to do that fully and it's still a daily process of letting go everyday and giving it to God fully everyday. It's so important to trust God with your situation. I married a man I knew God was saying no to, but I didn't believe I'd ever find anyone else, and my family wasn't helping that mentality. Things were fine for a few years until our son was diagnosed with a severe disability, then he became incredibly abusive. We ended up divorcing, he remarried and divorced her too. Having to speak with him still gives me the anxiety I used to get when he would be so cruel in the past. I know I blew it on that one, and now am just praying asking for God to help me be content in being alone. I wish it wasn't so hard a want to let go of, but I know I don't have a choice if I want to adhere to God's Will. The wait is worth it, and I wish so much that I had listened to God instead of the world.

Sometimes God calls us to be single. Even if we don’t agree. Been single in Gods path 23 years. I raised my kids alone who are now 26 and 24. I prayed long time and waited then surrendered to him saying no. Even if people don’t want to hear it I lived it and now I’ve accepted it.
Just make sure your praying in all fronts in clouding possible curses that could be blocking the blessing of a husband.
God is a loving Father and will never put any burden on his children. I don’t agree that he calls people to be single “against their will and desires”. This is not the heart of a loving father. We have to understand that God designed marriage and his intention and purpose for marriage has never changed. Some people are raised by single parents who choose to stay single and focus on raising their kids and may have been in a bad relationship the past. We have to recognise that we live in a different world and need to rely on the Holy Spirit to bring God’s sons and daughters together. If marriage is your heart desire take it to God in prayer and believe he has someone special for you and live it in his hands and get on with your life. God never puts any burden on his children by forcing them to be single when their heart desire is to be married. God bless you

God is doing a mighty work on marriage at this hour. My husband and I loved the Lord but both of us had quite a bit of childhood trauma, then more trauma piled on him as a police officer. He left me last year, but God has been faithfully affirming the reconciliation is near!! He has changed and healed us both drastically in this past year. God is a covenant keeper!!

Thank you SO much for obeying and honoring God by posting this video. Today I was fasting for this EXACT question! I have been with my boyfriend for 5 1/2 years and like you said, we are compatible, we get along so well, similar hobbies, but God is not at the center. God has saved me and I have been so hungry for more of Jesus, but my boyfriend is not saved and it has been hard to continue my walk with Christ when I am also trying to be respectful of his beliefs (buddhist) and not overwhelm him. He has been so respectful of my salvation but I know when trials and tribulations come he doesn’t have the foundation and we are unequally yoked. Alwyn, I remember when you said God said to you about a relationship you were in that you could be very happy with her but you would not be able to walk in your full destiny. So I do believe you have Kingdom marriage in your future to powerfully represent the Kingdom of God, as you are doing already. So, I will pray that this person is revealed to you soon.
When it comes to Kingdom marriage even your future husband or wife may not seem like that's who God has for them. There is a lot of demonic influence on them, usually the spirit of Jezebel, and so He calls for the more transformed spouse to stand for them in prayer to help them heal from usually childhood trauma and be fully delivered and transformed into the image of Jesus. So, while they may be unequally yoked that may not always be the case. I just wanted to say that because I've heard it mentioned that God is not going to have the least likely candidate for you. He will reveal them to you but they're not ready for you yet. This is to increase your faith and love.

Hi Bridget, I usually don’t comment; but your comment jumped out at me. My daughter stepped away from a relationship (she’s 28) that was SO difficult to walk away from. Her ex bf is a wonderful young man: successful, great communicator- you could check off all the “worldly” boxes. But she truly wanted someone who runs after God as their first love. They loved each other dearly. But she chose to walk away (also wanted to stay pure). God has literally moved her from glory to glory since. Hope this edifies you. ❤️ She lives in Los Angeles and works in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer. And even w that- God has opened doors for her to reach so many of her “artists” friends and guide them to a GENUINE love and deep walk w the Lord. After the break-up, she also had her first open vision (awake), and her dreams and visions have vastly increased, too.

My daughter (Kiana) was also best friends w her bf. They had SO much in common…. EXCEPT the most important thing. Or should I say, the most important ONE! It def was not easy. But I believe, in your case, it will be worth it if you walk away (IF your bf does not choose to follow Christ).
We always prayed for my daughters bf to accept Jesus as Savior. But she also knew she wanted someone to run hard after God… not just the “status quo Christian” (not meaning that as critical or judgmental)- but she did not want to be unequally yoked, and knew it would affect them long term.
In your case you have been patient if it’s been 17 years. And ultimately- it comes down to a choice for your bf. That was Kiana’s little “push” from the HS. Realizing, her bf really does have a choice- free will, he knew her heart, but still chose the world. Seek God in this. I have come to the conclusion that marriage is not for me, through dreams I had. My mind is completely made up, I can't imagine myself with someone now. But I love and cherish marriage and encourage everyone to go for it God's way.

@4000jes It could be the Lord said the decision is between God and the person. But it can be a bit confusing when Apostle Paul says if you can't withstand it. Marry. I believe if the Lord has called you to it, you should be able to withstand it. Not to say satan won't play mind games, he does. But just make sure you are not throwing it the towel.

You are making mistakes and are incorrectly teaching us things that aren't in 2CORINTHIANS 6:14-19. You have confused a whole lot of people with your hot and lukewarm water analogy.
First, 2CORINTHIANS 6:14 says, "(believers)don't be unequally yoked together with (unbelievers)..."
Just because one is lukewarm that doesn't make them an unbeliever.
Secondly, you yourself says the reason we are in the situations we are in in our marriages is because we are not making including Jesus in our interactions husband and wife...we aren't making Jesus the center of the marriage...our interactions don't revolve around Jesus...we aren't bringing Jesus along.
Who makes us hot? God
The partner who thinks they are hot and the other is not better think very hard on how did they got hot, before judging their partner.
