- I'll never forget this moment ... here is Barack Obama on election night, in the moments after his speech, with the music from Remember the Titans playing. The views from around the country and their reactions to this moment were even stronger than the speech itself. What an amazing night for America.
im a white guy from uk.i watched 20 this more than times but never tired still love to watch this.this looks like the world is on the stage.god bless america.
I am so proud to have been part of this historic moment. I will miss him as president...such an honor.😌

There will never be an election night as historic as this. Whether you like him, or not.

I'll never forget this as long as shall I live! ❤ Obama!
i will give obama this much he is a darn good speaker but a frickin bad president more dictator!!!
FireZone He was a wonderful President.
When I’m feeling sad and discouraged about this country, I watch old Obama’s clips to believe in the true beauty of this country.
8 years later and I still get chills watching this poweful moment in US history.
Me too. And I'm SO going to miss him and Michelle in the White House for sure.
But how do you justify the way he funded billions to Israel in their quest to ethnically cleanse Palestinians
he's the best dis ni8 is unforgettable in the whole of American history love the Obamas grt ppl Dey were d bssst 😀😊😍😘😘😘
8 years later and nothing changed....what a prolific job he did. Oh but he did everything right and it was all Bush's fault blah blah blah. Tool.
+J McC you a dam Lier devil
I was there. It was one of the greatest moments of my entire life, made greater because he belonged to Chicago. We sent him to the State House, we sent him to Capitol Hill and he came home to us that night as President of the United States. Now he belonged to the country and the world, but he was ours first and always. Chicago will roll out the red carpet for him when he comes home.
After eight disastrous years of Bush, Obama was proof that when the people choose the President, the people make the right choice for the country. Majority rule really works. It was only when the Supreme Court overruled the will of the people that America fell apart. But when we took back the vote and thwarted the special interests, we picked the right person at the right time to get America back on track. Your one vote really does matter. I didn't vote and we got George Bush. I voted and we got President Obama. Bush happened because people like me didn't vote. I will never take my vote for granted again.
Sooooooo.......You voting for Hillary?
Shut the fuck up bitch
gmlaster May God bless you.
Well, I don't believe Americans have memories, since they already forget 8 years ago, the economic crisis and forever war. Otherwise, how can they elect another republican president again. So pathetic, just wait to see another war in the near future and all your pathetic Americans' tax will go to military and invade other countries, and wait for that terrible economic crisis happen again and all those pathetic Americans will lose their houses again. So deserve it, Americans.
I was there too. That was such a wonderful night.. The unity in the audience was beautiful. Me and this white man (who I didn't even know lol) literally hugged up for the majority of the speech.. That was the energy there, it was so beautiful and the bars were off the hook. Everybody just hanging out celebrating one of our own going to the White house. Yes Chicago was beautiful that night..
Beautiful moments indeed! I cried so much that night. Tears of joy! Love the Obamas👌👍
glad I was alive to see this
I will never forget this..for as long as I live..the entire world was united and it was wonderful..I cried all the way from Canada.

I still have tears when I watch it.
Americans...you and your country are damn lucky to have such a beautiful and historical moments with your presidency timeline! I pray and hope that Mr. Barack Obama here is just the starting point for betterment and future ahead for you Americans and the rest of us here in the world.
This was my first time voting in a Presidential election, and unfortunately I had to do it outside of my home district because I was 20 and a junior in college. So, I am so blessed to later on tell my children and their children that I was able to be apart of history, seeing the first African American man to be elected President of the United States. Also tell them that my peers and I marched around the entire university to celebrate the victory that unfolded that warm, beautiful November night in 2008 35 minutes away from Chicago! I get misty thinking about it!
Also, don't forget to tell them of All the "obstacles" thrown his way endeavoring to try to make him fail, yet he persevered with dignity, class, and style ... with it blowing up in all the saboteurs and nay-sayer's faces!! :-) This man has accomplished more in 4 years then Most any other Presidents have in just 4. :-)
Watching this again in 2017 and im crying omg #yes_we_can #yes_we_did
it is not going to happen this feeling again 100 years never ever again.
I don't know if to like or dislike your comment 😂 I hope we make the right choice soon and get the stupid clown out of the White House
A true World Leader at it's finest, EVER! I love & admire him truly & deeply and I'm not even an American. God Bless President Obama & his wonderful family.

This means more than ever since the Orange Monster took office. Please never take it off.
look at the size of that crowd! lol
A Sonic Animator More than how trump claimed that he had the largest crowd in history but it was fake so that he can try to make America think he would be the best president but no he didn’t and he tried to show off too.
Tears streaming down my face. I remember this night like it was yesterday. I felt like we'd jumped forward in a new direction. THIS is what we once were. I believe we can become this again. We can. We must. And I believe we will.
8 years later we witnessed history thank you president Obama we will miss you as a man this brought me to tears
In the midst of such hardship, this moment managed to be the most inspiring, most powerful spark of light. Let those tears flow!

I will never forget that night for the rest of my life. For just a moment i felt like a kid again and believe all things are possible. As a 45 year old man who lost his wife and faught in a war all before the age of 22 that is a life time.
I'm gonna miss u all President Obama! Thank you. You did only what was in your power to do, God's will. You are a great man who defied the odds. You have made us proud.

I cried and was so happy that the Americans finally chose a good one for the office... never will forget this moment ever..
This video was a nice reminder of how proud I was of my country. The tableaux of faces, diverse and representative, of who we all are was very moving and inspiring.
Let's keep moving forward.
Watching this 2/16/18 and remembering the years that President Barack Obama was in office. Miss him and his family. They made me proud.
11 Years Ago...Still Watching...
As an European…….❤❤❤❤ Americans voted such wonderful intelligent humble person who has such wonderful words was in tears crying made me feel so proud to see Americans put aside. Race voted such intelligent president.
Wish Americans can vote him in again seems trump ship needs to sink such violence in trumps presidency.
What a night!.
Here it is, 2017, and I will never recall the difference between what I felt when viewing this broadcast when I was in Panama, after having voted for Obama by absentee ballot, and what I felt here at my home in California after the results of our most recent presidential election was announced. Nine years ago, ecstatic crowds were parading and celebrating in the streets in Panama. Last year, there was nothing but stunned silence after the disbelief.
I, just wish that Obama was still "our ",President !! For,many years to come! What,a true blessing "The Obama's" were to our Great Country !
I cried then, I'm crying now, so beautiful...😍❤👌👊
thank you so much my friends and family USA
Just,so elated that Obama was to be our 44th. President !
All the emotions of this speech even watching it now I can imagine how it was for my grandmother to watch Martin Luther King give the I Have a Dream speech
this brings tears to my eyes. i love you Obama.
I miss this. America needs to feel this sense of hope/unity again. It is so sad to see that we have gone in the opposite direction.
Pres Obama Rocks!!!
One of the most memorable moments of my life so far
Americans how do you go from this to the man baby 👶🏼
tsion terara You mean how did we go from Obama to the cry baby in office now. That's easy. There were a lot of racist people who were mad President Barack Obama was in office for eight years.
I shed tears each time watching Barack Obama speaks! He's a fountain of knowledge. He made me fell in love with America and wished born there...
Missing you at this moment Mr President.
I cried my eyes out....I really couldn't believe that it had happened...
only one obama this guy had the class knew how to handle his business truly special moment i,ll never forget best president of all time that,s my opinion
A truly GLORIOUS DAY IN AMERICA!! I'll CHERISH these moments for LIFE ... and GOD WILLING, will tell my Grandchildren about them!!
I love. This man's. Voice. I love. How. He speaks. The pauses that he. Uses. Make him sound all that more. Smart.
Still powerful over 8 years later.
A special moment for all americans. He inspired us more than we could have imagined. Never again we will witness something so symbolic to one nation under god indivisble with liberty and justice for all. May God bless the United States of America
You know what this reminds me of? That moment in the Lion King, on Pride Rock, when Rafiki lifted Simba up into the air, and the sun rose behind him. At that moment, my stomach was filled with butterflies. At this moment, I started crying. Thank you, Mr. President.
I am so proud to have a REAL President again. Thank you Barack!
The best part of it all was when both couples embraced and then lead out to meet the throngs of supporters... in that moment, whether you supported him or not, you took note of that moment as an American Citizen and as a member of the Free World. Four years later, we hope this change will move us all forward. We can only pray for the best and live in the moment.
It's weird to think that it's 8 years later.
Mr. Obama ur speaking skills really inspire me......
I remember this like it was yesterday. I’m from Jamaica and it was. Such an achievement for us also . God bless America
God blessed America with Obama

One of those things where yo remember the time and place of this event. Obama was definitely special. Was he a perfect president? Thats never going to be perfect. But he portrayed that position with honor and grace literally.

Even though I didn't support Obama i am proud to have been able to witness it. It was such a historically great moment, something I can tell my kids and grandiose about someday!
I love watching this video. So proud of the Obamas and the Biden's.
Just like you say you joined together to 'pull through big on this one' you have to be prepared to unite and pull through for your country as well.
In the words of Edward Abbey:
"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government. ”
-Edward Abbey
Ammericans were lucky to have abama among them. greet people ,, great leader..
To this day, this night stands out as one of the most poignant moments of my life. It renewed my hope for humanity and this country in particular. I felt like this was the night we got our country back. Now in 2010, I feel like for all his faults, Obama has pulled us back from the brink and is moving us forward in the best way he can. Even if he accomplishes only a fraction of what he promised, I still consider him a success because of what he inherited.
Amazing. A night to remember, loved It :)
THIS IS WHY I AM IN LOVE WITH AMERICAN PEOPLE.
I love American President and peoples of America
thanks for sharing Jason!
Obama must have been walking on air that night, amazing moment in US History
