Nightwish just released an official live version of their song 'Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean', and it's jaw dropping. Floor totally ups her game for that one. Definitely a 'must see'.

Floor is a tank. She has so much experience, strength and training that she is note-perfect every night. Nightwish needs that since their intense touring schedule has worn out two previous singers. You can watch the saga of Floor joining the band mid-tour in the documentary 'Please Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours', which you can find on RUclips.
One of my favorite things in Nightwish videos is Emppu (guitarist) and his fun loving stuff; the power stances, the audience play, and his overall command over the whole stage. For such a small guy that's impressive. Tuomas (keyboardist) obviously runs the whole show but they are both equal captains in appearance. Then you look over at Floor and realize who it is they all are subservient to. lol

Lead of the band is actually Tuomas Holopainen, the shy dude behind the keys ;) Nightwish is his brainchild and he's writing 95% of their music. "Ever Dream" and "Song of Myself" from the same show would be great picks for your next Nightwish experience :-)
@Always1895 Tuomas is the leader off stage. But ON stage Floor is the undisputed leader of Nightwish. She not only has a stunning, compelling and mesmerizing voice that seems otherworldly but she completely owns the stage with her body and soul.
She is not the leader of the band. That is Tuomas, the keyboardist. Nightwish is his brainchild, and he writes 90 percent of the songs. Floor has been the leader of past bands and side projects, though. In her last band, ReVamp, she did practically everything herself including management and art direction, which led to a severe burnout in 2011. I think she is comfortable in her Nightwish role. She has stated that she doesn't feel she needs to contribute much to Tuomas' superb level of songwriting. Her own singing, always super good, has reached her current divine levels also by having to sing songs not written by herself or for her and making them her own, which she is master at. She is of course a huge draw for the band. I think she likes to be able to afford to lean back a bit after her burnout and concentrate on working magic. And of course she commands the stage. I like to look at it this way: she has graciously allowed herself to be carried on a wave of great songwriting like a palanquin to become the goddess we all adore. :)
@TheBlackiwid I used to think the same, but I recently started to get into her own bands' songs more. They are not bad at all, ambitious and complex and melodic too, and dealing with serious subject matter in a way that strikes me as occasionally a bit more mature than Tuomas's lyrics of the time. However, they are somewhat more inaccessible and have less hooks and take more close listening to get into.
@@pedjavukmirovic6770 she's not. Do not get me wrong. She is SOOO great and I truly love her and what she does and is capable of. But nightwish is bigger and better than the individuals in the band combined. The same has happened before like with Queen, Rolling Stones, etc... :) Let's just enjoy the music. This is not a competition you know :)

Hi from the UK. Nightwish....there are no words! Floor is six foot one inch tall and has been classically trained. Every time it's a case of experiencing a classic "Floorgasm". Great reaction. Best wishes.

I have seen a couple of your reaction videos now, both music reactions and trailer reactions and are struck by your sparkling personality. All the facial expressions and opinions makes you just smile! My thought is, everyone NEED someone like you in their life, you are the sunshine to the rain! "Ever dream" from the same concert is one of my favorite songs, especially the doublebass part at the end :) and the guy with the long hair is "Yanny". First time i noticed him was 1997 when he released an album called "Tribute", recorded in China in the forbidden city. An awesome artist in classic music.
Second this opinion, Ever Dream is probably my favourite song (specifically Floor's versions, and especially from Wacken 2013). Doublebass part at the end is fkn insane, always gets me pumped.
Yepp Floor is tall, 6 1” and she is one hell of a performer,, she and Tatiana are the best metal singers right now. My two favorite ladies and Nightwish and Jinjer my favorite bands in metal , hands down! Gonna watch Jinjer tomorrow in Kiev! It’s gonna be awesome, to see Nightwish again I have to wait over a year when they perform in Oslo.
Can i add Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) to that list. She was the singer who stepped in and performed with Nightwish in Denver in 2012, she also auditioned for Nightwish in 2006, but that is a story for a different day, just say if she had been a little older and had more performance time she would have been the Nightwish singer back then after Tarja left.
She started in '97 with After Forever. Around '99 she started attending a newly opened Rock Academy in Holland(her nationality) She followed that with 6 years of music theater, the final year was in opera conservatory. She's 6'1" in her bare feet, but she always wears heals onstage. her husband, drummer for Sabaton(Swedish) is 6'7". After Forever, quit in 2008, she formed Revamp in 2009. The did 2 albums then Nightwish took her away. Also a side project, hard rock, called Northward. Also many appearances with Aryeon(dutch prog rock project), where her sister Irene frequently sings also. She's appeared with many other bands, and recently finished a Dutch TV show called Beste Zangers, really amazing stuff from that. Have fun lot's to hear.
Floor was the first singer to perform on Beste Zangers 2019 and she chose to sing the opera, "Vilja Lied" as a tribute to her opera idol, Henk Poort. Her performance of "Vilja Lied" ranks up there with "The Phantom" duet that she did later in the show with Henk. The other singers were shocked to hear her opera style since when the show started they only knew she performed in a symphonic metal band and expected her to come out screaming.

Really nice reaction. I think now understand the word "Floorgasm". Just one thing. Floor is definitly not the leader of this band. Her stage presence is amazing...Yes. But for me she is the prototype of a team player. Every time if someone else sings or has a solo she go back for one step and let the other one shine. The mastermind behind this music is Tuomas, the keyboarder. He is the composes most of their songs. Watch a little more and you see that the whole band is a group of amazing artists :-))) My favorite in the moment is Gost River. There you see what I mean with the step back of Floor ;-)

That`s the person you call THE FRONTWOMAN. Not just a performer of the songs that were written by the composer and songwriter of the group but the voice of theirs, the beautiful face, someone who enlivens the lyrics and makes every song a story you can enjoy and take home with you after the show. Floor is a true treasure they found when hope for the future was seemingly lost. A single phonecall solved everything. They are really lucky, all of them. The guys saved her from the emotional burnout and she saved them all from collapse. That`s a wonderful story that I hope will never end.
Nice reaction 😊 Be prepared for an invasion from the Nightwish Army, lol. Huge fan of NW here, no matter with Tarja or Floor, I even like some of Annette 's vocals as well. But because a whole army is marching your way with requests, I'm going to recomend you other bands (and projects) similar to NW 1. Kamelot : you have to start with Forever or Karma (Khan's era) and then Liar, Liar (Tommy's era) 2. Blind Guardian : Mirror Mirror/ Wheel of Time/ The Bard's song/ Valhalla/ And then there was silence... 3. Epica : maybe it's good to start with Never Enough 4. Well Floor is one of many Dutch Singing Goddess Club members who are lead vocalists for symphonic metal bands (Floor/Nightwish; Simone/Epica; Sharon/Within Temptation; Anneke/ Vuur & Gathering; Charlotte/Delain; Dianne/Ex Libris) not to mention other great Dutch female vocalists singing for metal bands. Floor is just on another level and as for stage presence you are hard pressed to find anyone who is more compelling than the 6' 1" Valkyrie Goddess of Metal. The band is led by Tuomas the keyboardist who writes 95% of the songs for the group but Floor is the dynamo that is the front person for this world class music production that is an experience to enjoy especially when you do the LIVE version. Floor has updated many of the older Nightwish songs in her own style and thus you hear that Floor 2.0 version especially LIVE that is just sensational.

I loved your two Nightwish reactions ! You tapped into the emotion and epic feel of their songs. For crowd participation and Floor's mastery of the fans, check out "Amaranth" from the 2013 Wacken concert. If you want Nightwish at their heavy best, try "Yours is an Empty Hope" any concert. She has nice growls in that one...or for a Celtic feel and just plain fun, try "I Want My Tears Back" from Wacken also. Cheers !!
I will say the same thing that I just said to another new reaction channel I just found the same day as yours because it is true and applies equally to both of you: I love your channel, your commentary, your style, your personality, ..... Keep being awesome! ... And, as a side note, the organ pipes are just a stage prop. He has a couple of Korg synthesizer keyboards back there. The pipes are modelled after a sculpture at the famous Sibelius Academy, a highly esteemed music conservatory in Helsinki.

Floor was classically trained and a vocal coach as well.I think she is like 6' 3".But she 's very sensitive about questions or comment about her height.Marco is in the bass and vocals.

You might also like the side projects Floor has been involved in while taking time away from Nightwish. She has on a show called “Beste Zangers”, she sings in Dutch, German, Spanish and English. She also sings several genres. Her versions of “Shallow”. , “Que Se Siente” and “Winner” as well as the duet “phantom of the opera” are all impressive. Hope you enjoy!!!
Floor has had Classical and Opera training I just don't know how much, maybe 2-3 years idk. In her late teens she began weight training and became a professional bodybuilder, winning many contests all over Europe. Floor is 6'1"-6'2" and 200lbs. Later in her 20s she went to opera school but she had always liked hard rock and Symphonic Metal as well. Floor started three bands, the last being Revamp which she worked herself into exhaustion trying to do it all and left the band in 2011 to try to recover. In 2012 Nightwish(Floor had worked with them earlier in her career)lost their second singer Anette Olzon(Finnish Mezzo Soprano Tarja Turunen was their co-founder with Tuomas Holopainen in 1996)and Tuomas, aware of Floor's powerful voice, asked her to join his band. It was a momentous, defining decision which catapulted Nightwish(and Floor) into superstardom as the Premier Symphonic Metal band in the world. Nightwish's first big concert with Floor as frontwoman was the 2013 Wacken, Germany concert. I have heard there were upwards of 80,000 people in attendance. I remember Tuomas telling her, "please learn the setlist in 48 hours". That was two days before they went onstage. She learned all the songs. Storytime, Ghost Love Score, Ever Dream and all the rest she just killed the whole concert. Funny, Floor is known all over the world but not in Holland. Her own people did not know her b/c her bands rarely played in Holland. But now, after she was invited to sing on the last show Die Beste Zangers(The Best Singers), which was recorded on the island of Ibiza, celebrating Dutch singers, they know her now. She and her management have set up at least 6-8, maybe 10 concerts going into next November and they are ALL SOLD OUT! The most soul-stirring performance on the last show was Floor and Dutch Baritone-Tenor Henk Poort singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera. Trust me you DO NOT want to miss that one!
Floor is the band's 3rd lead singer and she has been with Nightwish since late 2012 after the band parted ways with Annette. Tarja, the band's first singer was an operatic singer, Annette was a pop singer, and Floor is a classically trained singer who can do it all. Floor started her metal career when she was 17 years old and started two successful metal bands (After Forever and Re-vamp) where she created and performed her own songs, handled the production and other duties. She took a break in 2011 to recharge her batteries. In 2012 while on tour in the U.S. Annette was suddenly let go and the band continued the tour for awhile without a female lead singer. Floor agreed to join the band on a temporary basis to help finish out the tour and was handed a set list of 15 songs to learn within 48 hours for her first show in Seattle. By the time the band performed at the Wacken 2013 concert, Floor was a permanent member of the band. The Wacken rock concert is an iconic event held each year that hosts all the top bands. The sound system and production at Wacken is far superior to most outdoor concert venues so you will see a lot of recommendations to view the Wacken 2013 live performances although there are more recent performances at other venues. I suggest you watch "Romanticide" or "The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean" (Wembley live) that was just released for heavier songs. "Everdream" from the Wacken 2013 concert for a song on the lighter side. If you want to witness Floor's versatility you should watch the Beste Zangers 2019 performances that just recently came out. She sang songs from many different genres in 4 languages. Floor's performance of "The Phantom of the Opera" with her opera idol, Henk Poort, was fantastic. In female fronted symphonic metal genre, the singers are, more or less classically trained: Floor Jansen, Tarja Turunen, Simone Simmons, Sharon del Adel, Liv Christine, and so on. It is part of job description for symphonic metal genre, or at least should be. Floor Jansen fitted so good in this amazing band due to her range and versatility, stage presence, amazing personality, and the chemistry she has with Marco and Toumas first but also with the remaining four members of the group, if we count for both drummers. If you want to see Floor performing outside metal genre, start with Dutch show called Beste Sangers. I am a metal guy, but Floor in that show won a lot of hearts. Keep up the good work!
Floor is 6'1" 200lbs and a former bodybuilder. She had opera training as a teen but went into symphonic metal and started two bands. After she disbanded her second band the Nightwish founder/keyboardist/songwriter Tuomas Holopainen asked Floor to stand in for his other singer who left due to illness. History is still being written, but 82,000 of their fans attended this concert. After this performance the band asked her to join and she did. Not only is Floor a stage commander but as you can see, she can get the fans to do whatever she wants. Floor is a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano. She is Dutch but she and her drummer husband live in Sweden with their 2 year old daughter.

And I am sure you were trying to be funny about her being an ex body builder and weighing 200 pounds. She is very beautiful, nicely proportioned and very feminine with a voice of an angel. At least you knew of them, when you were sixteen. I'm fast approaching 55, and only first heard of Nightwish, earlier this year. And that was almost accidental. I was minding my own business, watching a reaction video... and was curious about a song titled, "Romanticide." The rest, as they say, is history. 😉😎 After downloading the entire Wacken 2013 performance, from Amazon, I started reading up on the band's history. Then, of course, I HAD to check out songs by Tarja and Annette. Holy schnikey! But, as much as I enjoyed both singers, Floor was my first, and has my ears' hearts. My ears only have love for one...Floor Jansen. Storytime, Ghost Love Score and Song of Myself are my favorites, from Wacken 2013... followed ever so closely by Romanticide and I Want My Tears Back. I saw Jinjer, September in Phoenix. Took the kids had a great time great show. Looking forward to a Nightwish USA tour. I'm sure they will not come Arizona, which means a road trip will be in order when that event comes to pass.

Floor is a tank. She has so much experience, strength and training that she is note-perfect every night. Nightwish needs that since their intense touring schedule has worn out two previous singers.

One of my favorite things in Nightwish videos is Emppu (guitarist) and his fun loving stuff; the power stances, the audience play, and his overall command over the whole stage. For such a small guy that's impressive. Tuomas (keyboardist) obviously runs the whole show but they are both equal captains in appearance. Then you look over at Floor and realize who it is they all are subservient to. lol

She is not the leader of the band. That is Tuomas, the keyboardist. Nightwish is his brainchild, and he writes 90 percent of the songs.
Floor has been the leader of past bands and side projects, though. In her last band, ReVamp, she did practically everything herself including management and art direction, which led to a severe burnout in 2011.
I think she is comfortable in her Nightwish role. She has stated that she doesn't feel she needs to contribute much to Tuomas' superb level of songwriting. Her own singing, always super good, has reached her current divine levels also by having to sing songs not written by herself or for her and making them her own, which she is master at. She is of course a huge draw for the band. I think she likes to be able to afford to lean back a bit after her burnout and concentrate on working magic. And of course she commands the stage. I like to look at it this way: she has graciously allowed herself to be carried on a wave of great songwriting like a palanquin to become the goddess we all adore. :)

@TheBlackiwid I used to think the same, but I recently started to get into her own bands' songs more. They are not bad at all, ambitious and complex and melodic too, and dealing with serious subject matter in a way that strikes me as occasionally a bit more mature than Tuomas's lyrics of the time. However, they are somewhat more inaccessible and have less hooks and take more close listening to get into.

But nightwish is bigger and better than the individuals in the band combined. The same has happened before like with Queen, Rolling Stones, etc... :) Let's just enjoy the music. I have seen a couple of your reaction videos now, both music reactions and trailer reactions and are struck by your sparkling personality. "Ever dream" from the same concert is one of my favorite songs, especially the doublebass part at the end :) and the guy with the long hair is "Yanny".
First time i noticed him was 1997 when he released an album called "Tribute", recorded in China in the forbidden city. An awesome artist in classic music.
Second this opinion, Ever Dream is probably my favourite song (specifically Floor's versions, and especially from Wacken 2013). Doublebass part at the end is fkn insane, always gets me pumped.

Yepp Floor is tall, 6 1” and she is one hell of a performer,, she and Tatiana are the best metal singers right now. My two favorite ladies and Nightwish and Jinjer my favorite bands in metal , hands down! Gonna watch Jinjer tomorrow in Kiev! It’s gonna be awesome, to see Nightwish again I have to wait over a year when they perform in Oslo.
Can i add Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) to that list. She was the singer who stepped in and performed with Nightwish in Denver in 2012, she also auditioned for Nightwish in 2006, but that is a story for a different day, just say if she had been a little older and had more performance time she would have been the Nightwish singer back then after Tarja left.

She started in '97 with After Forever. Around '99 she started attending a newly opened Rock Academy in Holland(her nationality) She followed that with 6 years of music theater, the final year was in opera conservatory. She's 6'1" in her bare feet, but she always wears heals onstage. her husband, drummer for Sabaton(Swedish) is 6'7". After Forever, quit in 2008, she formed Revamp in 2009. The did 2 albums then Nightwish took her away. Also a side project, hard rock, called Northward. Also many appearances with Aryeon(dutch prog rock project), where her sister Irene frequently sings also. She's appeared with many other bands, and recently finished a Dutch TV show called Beste Zangers, really amazing stuff from that. Have fun lot's to hear.

Floor was the first singer to perform on Beste Zangers 2019 and she chose to sing the opera, "Vilja Lied" as a tribute to her opera idol, Henk Poort. Her performance of "Vilja Lied" ranks up there with "The Phantom" duet that she did later in the show with Henk. The other singers were shocked to hear her opera style since when the show started they only knew she performed in a symphonic metal band and expected her to come out screaming.

Just one thing. Floor is definitly not the leader of this band. Her stage presence is amazing...Yes. But for me she is the prototype of a team player. Every time if someone else sings or has a solo she go back for one step and let the other one shine. The mastermind behind this music is Tuomas, the keyboarder. He is the composes most of their songs. Watch a little more and you see that the whole band is a group of amazing artists :-)))

That`s the person you call THE FRONTWOMAN. Not just a performer of the songs that were written by the composer and songwriter of the group but the voice of theirs, the beautiful face, someone who enlivens the lyrics and makes every song a story you can enjoy and take home with you after the show. Floor is a true treasure they found when hope for the future was seemingly lost. A single phonecall solved everything. They are really lucky, all of them. The guys saved her from the emotional burnout and she saved them all from collapse. That`s a wonderful story that I hope will never end.

Be prepared for an invasion from the Nightwish Army, lol. Huge fan of NW here, no matter with Tarja or Floor, I even like some of Annette 's vocals as well. But because a whole army is marching your way with requests, I'm going to recomend you other bands (and projects) similar to NW

Well Floor is one of many Dutch Singing Goddess Club members who are lead vocalists for symphonic metal bands (Floor/Nightwish; Simone/Epica; Sharon/Within Temptation; Anneke/ Vuur & Gathering; Charlotte/Delain; Dianne/Ex Libris) not to mention other great Dutch female vocalists singing for metal bands. Floor is just on another level and as for stage presence you are hard pressed to find anyone who is more compelling than the 6' 1" Valkyrie Goddess of Metal. The band is led by Tuomas the keyboardist who writes 95% of the songs for the group but Floor is the dynamo that is the front person for this world class music production that is an experience to enjoy especially when you do the LIVE version. Floor has updated many of the older Nightwish songs in her own style and thus you hear that Floor 2.0 version especially LIVE that is just sensational.

For crowd participation and Floor's mastery of the fans, check out "Amaranth" from the 2013 Wacken concert. If you want Nightwish at their heavy best, try "Yours is an Empty Hope" any concert. I will say the same thing that I just said to another new reaction channel I just found the same day as yours because it is true and applies equally to both of you: I love your channel, your commentary, your style, your personality, ..... The pipes are modelled after a sculpture at the famous Sibelius Academy, a highly esteemed music conservatory in Helsinki.

You might also like the side projects Floor has been involved in while taking time away from Nightwish. She has on a show called “Beste Zangers”, she sings in Dutch, German, Spanish and English. She also sings several genres. Her versions of “Shallow”. , “Que Se Siente” and “Winner” as well as the duet “phantom of the opera” are all impressive. Hope you enjoy!!!

Floor has had Classical and Opera training I just don't know how much, maybe 2-3 years idk. In her late teens she began weight training and became a professional bodybuilder, winning many contests all over Europe. Floor is 6'1"-6'2" and 200lbs.
Later in her 20s she went to opera school but she had always liked hard rock and Symphonic Metal as well. Floor started three bands, the last being Revamp which she worked herself into exhaustion trying to do it all and left the band in 2011 to try to recover.
In 2012 Nightwish(Floor had worked with them earlier in her career)lost their second singer Anette Olzon(Finnish Mezzo Soprano Tarja Turunen was their co-founder with Tuomas Holopainen in 1996)and Tuomas, aware of Floor's powerful voice, asked her to join his band. It was a momentous, defining decision which catapulted Nightwish(and Floor) into superstardom as the Premier Symphonic Metal band in the world.
Nightwish's first big concert with Floor as frontwoman was the 2013 Wacken, Germany concert. I have heard there were upwards of 80,000 people in attendance. I remember Tuomas telling her, "please learn the setlist in 48 hours". That was two days before they went onstage. She learned all the songs. Storytime, Ghost Love Score, Ever Dream and all the rest she just killed the whole concert.
Funny, Floor is known all over the world but not in Holland. Her own people did not know her b/c her bands rarely played in Holland. But now, after she was invited to sing on the last show Die Beste Zangers(The Best Singers), which was recorded on the island of Ibiza, celebrating Dutch singers, they know her now. She and her management have set up at least 6-8, maybe 10 concerts going into next November and they are ALL SOLD OUT!
The most soul-stirring performance on the last show was Floor and Dutch Baritone-Tenor Henk Poort singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera. Trust me you DO NOT want to miss that one!
Floor is the band's 3rd lead singer and she has been with Nightwish since late 2012 after the band parted ways with Annette. Tarja, the band's first singer was an operatic singer, Annette was a pop singer, and Floor is a classically trained singer who can do it all. Floor started her metal career when she was 17 years old and started two successful metal bands (After Forever and Re-vamp) where she created and performed her own songs, handled the production and other duties. She took a break in 2011 to recharge her batteries. In 2012 while on tour in the U.S. Annette was suddenly let go and the band continued the tour for awhile without a female lead singer. Floor agreed to join the band on a temporary basis to help finish out the tour and was handed a set list of 15 songs to learn within 48 hours for her first show in Seattle. By the time the band performed at the Wacken 2013 concert, Floor was a permanent member of the band. The Wacken rock concert is an iconic event held each year that hosts all the top bands. The sound system and production at Wacken is far superior to most outdoor concert venues so you will see a lot of recommendations to view the Wacken 2013 live performances although there are more recent performances at other venues. I suggest you watch "Romanticide" or "The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean" (Wembley live) that was just released for heavier songs. "Everdream" from the Wacken 2013 concert for a song on the lighter side. If you want to witness Floor's versatility you should watch the Beste Zangers 2019 performances that just recently came out. She sang songs from many different genres in 4 languages. Floor's performance of "The Phantom of the Opera" with her opera idol, Henk Poort, was fantastic. In female fronted symphonic metal genre, the singers are, more or less classically trained: Floor Jansen, Tarja Turunen, Simone Simmons, Sharon del Adel, Liv Christine, and so on. It is part of job description for symphonic metal genre, or at least should be. Floor Jansen fitted so good in this amazing band due to her range and versatility, stage presence, amazing personality, and the chemistry she has with Marco and Toumas first but also with the remaining four members of the group, if we count for both drummers. If you want to see Floor performing outside metal genre, start with Dutch show called Beste Sangers. I am a metal guy, but Floor in that show won a lot of hearts. Keep up the good work!
Floor is 6'1" 200lbs and a former bodybuilder. She had opera training as a teen but went into symphonic metal and started two bands. After she disbanded her second band the Nightwish founder/keyboardist/songwriter Tuomas Holopainen asked Floor to stand in for his other singer who left due to illness. History is still being written, but 82,000 of their fans attended this concert. After this performance the band asked her to join and she did.
Not only is Floor a stage commander but as you can see, she can get the fans to do whatever she wants. Floor is a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano. She is Dutch but she and her drummer husband live in Sweden with their 2 year old daughter.

And I am sure you were trying to be funny about her being an ex body builder and weighing 200 pounds. She is very beautiful, nicely proportioned and very feminine with a voice of an angel. At least you knew of them, when you were sixteen. I'm fast approaching 55, and only first heard of Nightwish, earlier this year. And that was almost accidental. I was minding my own business, watching a reaction video... and was curious about a song titled, "Romanticide." The rest, as they say, is history. 😉😎
After downloading the entire Wacken 2013 performance, from Amazon, I started reading up on the band's history. Then, of course, I HAD to check out songs by Tarja and Annette. Holy schnikey!
But, as much as I enjoyed both singers, Floor was my first, and has my ears' hearts. My ears only have love for one...Floor Jansen.
Storytime, Ghost Love Score and Song of Myself are my favorites, from Wacken 2013... followed ever so closely by Romanticide and I Want My Tears Back. Hell, just react to the entire concert performance. You won't be disappointed! 😉😎🤘🤘
I saw Jinjer, September in Phoenix. Took the kids had a great time great show. Looking forward to a Nightwish USA tour. I'm sure they will not come Arizona, which means a road trip will be in order when that event comes to pass.

Within Temptation - check out Reckoning, Paradise (duo with Nightwish 's original singer).
Gathering and Vuur - first and most recent bands for Anneke van Giersbergen - Strange Machines, On Most Surfaces, May Song, Freedom
