My city was fortunate to get an early viewing of Purple Rain, about a week or 2 before the L.A. premier. I had done some PR and was running one of his earliest fan clubs and was invited to the early viewing. We had a lot of fun that evening.

Electric video!!! I saw Purple Rain opening week on 42 nd street New York after woulds my cousin took me to the Purple Rain tour I got advice from Prince. I will share that story next time.. Peace

Here it is so Prince , New Power Generation and Nona Gaye were at Tower Records here in New York for the release of the New Power Magazine. And My Cousin and I were going unfortunately me it was on a week day when I had to work and My !!!#@@@% Supervisor wouldn't give me the day off or half day because she knew I was a major Prince fan and threatened me with firing . So I ended up working but my cousin went and was going to bring me back an autograph. Again unfortunately it on autograph per person. So my cousin says to Prince. " Prince my little cousin Drew loves you and inspires to be like you unfortunately he couldn't be here today. I'd there something you could give me to bring back to Drew.." He said Prince leaned back in his chair cane in hand and said. " You tell Drew I said just be cool. " I've been cool ever since . My cousin still has the Autographed Magazine and was going to give it to but changed his mind Damn!!! But I ended up obtaining a Beautiful Autographed photo of Prince. I would lo e to send you a picture of it . Thank you for listening to my babbel Peace and Power..and Love
