Cool video. My top three most expensive NES games are….Kickmaster (CIB), Bucky O’Hare (loose cart) & Battletoads and double dragon the Ultimate team (cart & manual)
Great video! The grail in my collection at the moment is Panic Restaurant. Was lucky enough to grab a loose copy from Nexwave games a bit back for about 800ca. Powerblade 2 is needed as well to compete my Powerblade duo! Happy Hunting!
Thank you! That’s awesome! Nexwave has bangers all the time and that one is an awesome pick up! I hope you can find Powerblade 2 for a good deal out there!
Very cool man! The top 3 expensive things in my collection are #1 = Turicon 64 CIB ($383) #2 = Hitler no Fukkatsu CIB ($312) #3 = Gold N64 ($242) Awesome stuff buddy!
Thanks brother! It’s one for the list for sure, such a cool game and an epic franchise as a whole! Eventually I’m going to put the toy line for Bucky on my list to pick up as well.🎉
Bro, lots of awesome Games that while some of them are hard to find / expensive, they are games we still hold in high regard and this is an awesome video on your most expensive games. For me: My Top 5 Most Expensive Games are (and they’re all Super NES): 5. Itchy and Scratchy Game (CiB, $316) 4. Harvest Moon (Loose, $350) 3. Demon’s Crest (CiB, $415) 2. Mega Man X2 (CiB, $441) 1. The Mask (CiB, $451) I actually scored the Mask at Book Off for $135. I’m not joking. Either way Great Episode as always Retro Cart Collector.
Thank you! That’s a really great list of games too! Demon’s Crest is super cool, I’m excited to get Harvest Moon and try it. Really cool that you found the Mask like that, scores like that are amazing!
Thanks brother! Oh man, Felix the Cat is on my hit list for this weekend. Riff picked it as the easiest on the NES so I need to track it down. Bucky and Cool World are awesome ones to have in your set too! Thanks for sharing!
The fact that saying things like “luckily it’s dollar game” is something we all understand must sound crazy to other people lol. We are down getting some alts like say collectors edition Zelda for the n64. But there are others we are totally ok passing on. I feel like that range of how much you’re willing to spend on an item changes over time and spending on the item. There are some pricey items we would love to have in CIB form eventually. But you’re lost and ours isn’t that different as to what we are willing to get back what we don’t care if we ever have.love the video!
Right! I look at it as, we all have different things in this world we love and set value to. I'm never going to pay $800 for tickets to a Hockey Play Off's Game, but I would for a NES game. I know lots of people that would get the Play Off Tix's in a heart beat and would look at me like I was nuts for buying a $800 NES game, but really it's just a different love than mine, neither are wrong if that's what you enjoy. It absolutely changes over time for me too, 10 years ago I would never have thought I would be here collecting NES, let alone ones in the hundreds of dollars range. Thanks cool our lists are close like that! Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it!
Nice bro! I recently picked up Princess Tomato and that game has such good music and is pretty fun. I am sitting around 575 for the set. Still need a few of them you have here like Jetsons and Dragon Fighter. I did grab a copy of Chrono Trigger myself a couple years back. I don’t go for SNES as hard as NES…yet anyhow. 😂
Thanks brother! That’s awesome, Princess Tomato is a interesting game, they weren’t afraid yo be weird with that one and it wasn’t a bad thing 😂 That’s epic your at 575! I’m just about to cross into the 400’s now. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled, maybe I’ll spot another one of those on the cheap up here and we can make a trade deal down the road.🤙 Some times it seems the heavy’s can pop up for cheaper up here.
I’ve got Hagane and Earthbound for SNES, but my favorite “expensive” game is a Megaman X3 that my friend let me borrow as a kid. His mom and him disappeared to another state one day and I never saw him again. Thanks, I guess, Ian! lol
😂 That’s awesome! Hahaha What a great game to have been forever loaned! I feel like there are probably lots of stories out there like that from the time, super cool that you have it from that experience!
@@RetrocartCollector I still can’t believe you plan on budgeting for Little Sampson! Crazy expensive, but goals are goals! I grew up Christian and, because of that, I know that 99% of Christian media and games just suck hardcore. Because of the name “Little Sampson” I assumed it was a Bible game and avoided it like the plague. If I’d only known!!!!
It’s going to take some saving for sure! I’ll have to put in some crazy OT at work for it 😂 That’s funny! I wouldn’t have guessed it is what it is based of the name either or that it was a good game!
I loved Little Sampson. We do NOT own it but everdrive made it possible 😊 It's definitely a great game but its not worth the ptice tag to us but I totally understand anyone that would want it. One of our most expensive in our collection is CIB Super Mario World. If I had the box and manual for Kid Dracula though that would easily take over the top spot. Oh and you reminded me I really need to play Bucky! Fantastic Collection. Over halfway! Great stuff
I’m glad to know Little Samson is a good game then! That’s awesome! Super Mario World CIB is a really cool one to have! Kid Dracula looks like a cool one too! Bucky O’Hare is a great one to check out. Super cool game! Thanks for watching!
Cool vid my friend! I don’t collect much, I buy games I know I love already and the rest I emulate. Life’s too short and I’m never gonna play all the games I have as it is so having something just to have it and sit on the shelf isn’t for me 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks man! That’s what’s amazing about our community for sure, how we all collect differently and have different ways of how we collect. Thanks for watch my friend!
@@RetrocartCollector agreed, and yeah it wasn’t meant to be snarky lol. Its just time is short 😬 And you’re welcome, I’m trying to keep up! I saw you got another one out!
Thats why i caved in and got an emulator and it has all these games cuz i cant afford these crazy prices no more. But just started working in my fav retro video game store here so i get discounts on games now so ill be able to buy more now lol
They are totally crazy in price for some of them! 🤯 That’s awesome you started working there and get a discount! Hopefully you can score some good one then!
Cool video. My top three most expensive NES games are….Kickmaster (CIB), Bucky O’Hare (loose cart) & Battletoads and double dragon the Ultimate team (cart & manual)

Dude that Bucky o hare cib is so beautiful. Definitely on my very small list of CIB NES games I want.

Me too, it’s really my true love of the Nintendo consoles, so it will be the focus after NES set is done.

Great video, brother! I am just like you and have mixed feeling on a lot of these super rare games. I have a plan for Little Samson, though 😅
