Random thought, i would love to see people's reaction to seeing two beautiful girls that look like came straight of a time machine from the 60's lol you guys look amazing with those haitcuts i love them.
from a hairstylist's perspective i LOVE that she explained a little bit of her process! i love seeing how other stylists achieve looks, especially if they're a bit out of the box from the trends we're seeing in salon today!

I feel you. I have naturally curly hair and it's hard to do vintage inspired hairdos as they are all meant for straight hair.
I got my bangs trimmed and my hair is proper curly :D
The trick is to have them trimmed a little longer than usual since curls shrink. Big tip, get them cut dry to know exactly how long they will be when dry, again because of shrinkage :)
Horror story, one person who trimmed my bangs did NOT do that and I had baby bangs for a while 😅 so make sure to specify if you want to wear your hair curly or not! If you wear it curly : cut bangs longer and cut dry ^^
Don’t be scared though! Curly bangs are CUTE! We can rock the bangs as well ;D

How did you find a great stylist? Love that she does what you ask for and just dusted the length. I have problems with stylists wanting to chop several inches when it’s healthy. I’d definitely go to her if I were in the Chicago area. Your hair looks fab!

i’ve had bangs since my freshman year of high school, been in love with the sixties since i can remember and never once thought about trying out a nicks or faithfull style and now i’ve got to go get it done hahahaha, my bangs are currently grown out but i think you’ve just helped me make my decision to get them cut again !
At the moment I have the Twiggy/Edie hair thing going on- so it's quite short. But I LOVE LOVE how you cut your hair. I can't really have my hair long but I really like how she did your fringe/bangs and how the side is a bit short. It's looks great. I might have to get some bangs- Hmm. Not sure. It looks great on you! Wish I could have long hair- oh well. We all have to make do with what we have! Oh and your makeup looks really hot! :0)

the bardot fringe suits anyone to be honest, with a round face i cutted it myself (lol) and i loved it, it adds more dimension to the face, you just have to be careful with the lenght according to your face shape and hairline

How did you find a 60s hairstylist? The last time I went to a salon, I gave the stylist a reference photo, she ignored everything and gave me a carbon copy of her own haircut instead. 😩

I don't think color matters at all! Cher has black hair and rocked a similar cut! There's a lot of variations of this kind of style so I think just looking for something you really love matters
I'm in the same boat as you girl! I can tell you what my hairdresser told me which is to never go shorter than chin length or it'll accentuate the double chin 😂 also for inspiration my favorite 60s icon with dark hair and a rounder face is Claudia Cardinale, if you look her up you'll see she wore plenty of beautiful hairstyles!

Sorry I'm late! I think a bubble flip hairstyle would look adorable with a round face. There are some tutorials on RUclips that show people without bangs. And they absolutely rock the hairstyle! I hope this helps :)
