Love this format and your first look! As someone who lived the late 60’s as a teenager, I enjoy going down memory lane. So many of your looks are what I wore in the 60’s and 70’s. Wish I had kept all my clothes. I still wear the same size. My ex-husband was a progressive rock lead vocalist and guitarist in the 70’s. I was his business manager, recording contract negotiator, lyrics writer, tour manager. Love your style kindred spirit. Thank you for all your videos.
Oh my! I do the exact same thing with my hair! I take in pictures from her in that movie or records and hair stylists have such a difficult time with the blunt face pieces because the modern thing is to blend them so I always have to stop them from tapering!
Marianne's style always remind's me of blooming yet so natural and baddie side of her's. You make these looks so beautifully and im fan of your's and of 60's & 70's for long now. Thank you Devyn for always being yourself and don't listen to hater's on Twitter beacuse WHO could hate an angel like you? You are amazing and I hope you are safe & happy in your groovy house.
Yes so excited to see the hooded eye cut crease!! I had another request to see a Farrah makeup and lookbook. Farrah was a 70s icon and much different from other 70s celebrities. I thought you could use Michelle as a Farrah muse she could easily do that HAIR!!! although you pulled off Cher amazingly and you would never think that. Love ur content and respect your hard work and love of this beautiful period of time.
Regarding the format, I really enjoyed seeing your outfits in the wild! I felt like I got to see more details with the different camera work and the outdoor lighting. I'd be happy if you continued this way! My only suggestion: maybe if you could slow down just a little tad when showing the outfits, so we can break it down? Just since you're not going over every component piece by piece. :) Anyway, I really love your channel, I've mostly been a fan of 40s and 50s fashion but since I refuse to cut my butt length hair I'm being drawn to 60s and 70s and you're super inspiring.
Had to add this is my standard eye...i never really thought about it being her look but now i can't unsee it, thank you!! I love this haircut on you Devyn, it really suits you.
you should try a joni mitchell inspired look, whether it was a lookbook or makeup (even though she was usually bare-faced). I've always thought your bare face looks SO incredibly similar to her that I think you could really pull off any look inspired by her! :)
What a fun demo! I love 1960s fashion. You did a fab job with Marianne’s style. I’ve been a fan of hers since I saw the 1969 version of Hamlet with her as Ophelia during English class in high school! Love her music, too, of course! Thanks!
This is great! You have such a 60s face and every look suits you. I am super excited about the hooded eyes tutorial, since I have them, and being in my 30s, I can see my crepe eyes from space lol I think I will probably be doing darker cut creases, ala Sharon Tate. And you probably know already, but cut creases are GREAT for us folks with hooded eyes! Your new format is awesome as well because it's fun to see how your makeup looks go together without having to skip around videos. Very convenient! Love it, Devyn! Keep up the awesome vids! ✌🏻💜
YES❤ WE DID GET MARIANNE FAITHFULL ❤ Thank you so so much Queen Devyn 👑 Marianne is the only rock muse I'm closest too, because my Dad saw the Rolling Stones ❤ Even if she and Mick Jagger had broken up
Fab, thank you for this ! Marianne is my ultimate female style inspiration. You nailed it ! That first dress in the lookbook is amazing and wow, those snake boots are insane ! ♤
I know it's not correlated to the video (which is as always super good!!!) but this is something I tried to get information on but I didn't find any. I'm someone with an hourglass figure so a lot of 60s looks makes me look like a potato and it makes me quite sad. For anyone who read this does anyone knows how people in the 60s did when they didn't have the right body type for the time? (sorry for my bad English)
I have a similar body shape to u, I think it works if u add a belt to cinch in the waist ever so slightly so u still have the 60s kind of boxy, child like look without it looking so different to your normal body. also high waisted mini skirts that have shirts tucked in also give that illusion. Idk if this helps x
Awesome !! I love these two pairs of sunglasses, the python boots and the blue shimmering jacket ! Oh and that adorable rainbow dress !! About the makeup : if I apply anything on my bottom lashes, I always look like a panda at the end of the day. Is it just me ? Any tips...? Because I just love that style !!
DEVYN I've had the song you featured in the lookbook portion of this video stuck in my head all day and I can't figure out what it is, I even listened to every song ably house has posted and couldn't find it please help me :"(
I loved the video but I kinda wished it was a separate lookbook, something like "late 60s lookbook" or something because I found the looks not so similar to Marianne's ones and it left me disappointed whereas I loved them all. I love Marianne's looks so much that I wanted to see recreations . It was more inspired looks ( I'm gonna repeat myself but they were amazing btw ). Maybe next time don't put pictures ?

This whole video is perfect!! I like this new format :)

YES❤ WE DID GET MARIANNE FAITHFULL ❤ Thank you so so much Queen Devyn 👑 Marianne is the only rock muse I'm closest too, because my Dad saw the Rolling Stones ❤ Even if she and Mick Jagger had broken up
Awwwww
I like the way you did this, great job Devyn!
Fab, thank you for this ! Marianne is my ultimate female style inspiration. You nailed it ! That first dress in the lookbook is amazing and wow, those snake boots are insane ! ♤

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I really like the formatting this way. You killed it!

I love the glasses 9:47
I think she would look soooo good with a Bob
This is wonderful, you're so beautiful 💖💖
You and Kate Middleton (Dutchess Catherine) have the best hair. Your hair is thick, shiny and fabulous.
I like this format but I think prefer the old one having seperate makeup and lookbook videos
the second outfit screams Annie Hall
Te amo💖
DEVYN I've had the song you featured in the lookbook portion of this video stuck in my head all day and I can't figure out what it is, I even listened to every song ably house has posted and couldn't find it please help me :"(
Aw it’s unreleased. But it will be on the album they’re releasing soon! It’s called Some Spell 💖
@@DevynCrimson oh my goodness exciting!! where will it be released?
Hi Devyn!! I was just wondering where we can send fan art to. It would be appreciated if you would respond!! You are so so very talented at makeup!!!
💋💋💋 Saludos desde México
what song was playing during the lookbook? I rlly like lol
My boyfriends bands original work! They’re completing the album this summer💖💖
DEVYN please let me know where you got the first dress in the try-on segment?
ha i dyed the ends of my hair in quarantine too
Not everyone did a cut makeup look, mostly eye liner, mascara, some neutral eye shadow, like Mary Quant, plain clothes,I'm more drawn to that look.
what eyeliner do you use? could i find it online?
love everything about the video by the way!
What's the name of the song from the lookbook?
Some spell, an unreleased Ably House song
what is the song called?✨
I can’t wait for Lucy Boynton to play her in the movie 🤩
I loved the video but I kinda wished it was a separate lookbook, something like "late 60s lookbook" or something because I found the looks not so similar to Marianne's ones and it left me disappointed whereas I loved them all. Disappointed. Lucy Boynton portrays her wooden actress Marianne deserves someone with more personality in her face
