Emma your hair turned out beautifully! I really love the cut/color. As someone who was born in the 60's I can appreciate this video. Many of those styling tools actually remember having. I find it refreshing that you as a young adult (with an old soul perhaps!) is doing your part to keep "the vibe" alive. I love that you are into this era and also educating others on trends back then. I love all decades from the past but I truly love the 50's decade! 60's and 70's were pretty awesome as well. The roaring 20's is hard to beat too. Great video!

I’m really into the 20s as well ans I really wanna learn a lot more about the 50s too. I just honestly think every time. Is unique in its own way. Sending you love💛

Love the Shag, Eric Faulkner from the bay city rollers cut the top of his hair himself,so I like his take on it.

I'm just gonna steal this hairstyle, thank yoh! Seriously though, my hair just refuses to embrace the Brigette Bardot curtain bangs right now, so I think this would be a great compromise, as it insists to whirl in the front, like yours do after the haircut was done. It's otherwise completely straight and refuses to do anything else: "I'm straight, you can't change me!" ... a perm won't bend it in the slightest, which was a huge foil for me when I wanted a 30's inspired look.
what was I saying-- oh yeah, copying this do. It looks great on you! :D

Why are the 60s and 70s called vintage now and not retro :/

    • @windmillkid

it’s generally accepted that anything 50+ years ago can be considered vintage, 100+ can be considered antique. though retro can still be applied to the 60s and 70s.
