    To ppl that can't go into their kitchen or want to be discrete, you can use a small wax heater. Can just plug it into any socket in your room pour some water in it and it boils quite well

    The removal is not supposed to be painful. Try the following
    Relax ,make sure that you are smiling throughout (it is an indication that you are relaxed)
    You don't have to push to finger all the way up to release the suction .Just pinch the base , that will do.
    Pull it out by pinching the base firmly.
    When it is out by say an inch ,fold both ends so that it appears like a c fold.This will make sure that the cup has a narrow opening while coming out.Don't worry about the blood spilling down while doing this.
    I hope that these tips will be helpful

    Thus month was my first time trying out a menstrual cup and I got a fungal infection. I used the Sirona cup. But i dont think its got anything to do with the brand. Because I looked it up, any menstrual cup for that matter is 100 percent safe to use and is usually made of medical grade silicon. Its all about the sanitisation and the upkeep of the cup that needs to be healthy. Learned this the painful way. Hands and cup needs to be sanitised before use. When I say sanitised, make sure you wash your hands everything you touch your cup throughout and make sure there isnt any residue of soap in your hands and fingers while doing that. Do not wash your cup with soap or any kind of liquid which isnt specially made to clean mentrual cups like cups cleaner. Because there might be residue of soap left on the cup which wont be visible to naked eye or simply the ph of the cup is affected and thus affecting the ph of the vagina while using the cup. Which changes everything. Nothing should mess up the PH of the vagina. Infection's breeding ground right there...there will be thick white discharge and a foul smell in addition to that. That will be the symptoms of an infection. Go visit a gynac immidiately.
    Always sterelize the cup before and after using it in every cycle. In between changes throughout period just normal water washing is fine. Do not pull or yank on the cup while removal. Can lead to vaginal collapse. And always wash your hands before handling the cup and if possible have shorter nails and clean nails. This is all from a personal experience. Please do educate people on experiences. Can be useful.

    Try pinching the bottom of the cup ,( to break the vaccum and suction) while gently pulling & twisting/turning the cup out. That way you will not feel any pain.
    Pulling out with suction and tugging on the stem will cause the pain.
    Also I usually wash my cup with the "vaginal wash" and toss it into a mug with hot water while I'm showering to sanitize it.
    Hope this helps ☺️♥️

    When I remove my cup, I wet my finger with water and insert it until I feel near the rim then I break the seal by pushing the rim inwards like a loose version of the punch down fold so it reduces the diameter a bit and then I quickly hold that fold somewhere near the middle - bottom of the cup with my thumb or sometimes I use my other hand to hold onto the stem to make sure I have a good grip and then I remove the cup slowly and gently and it comes out very easily and pain free! For reference, I am 18 years old and I’m very petite and this is my go to method for removing my cup because for me it is quite easy and pain free. It works best if the cup isn’t full completely if you want a mess free removal because since you’re folding the cup a little bit while it’s inside of you the blood will rise and you don’t want it to overflow during removal. My cup is usually just about half full when it’s time for me to remove. It would’ve been way easier if I could’ve given a visual demonstration but I tried to be as detailed as possible. Hope this helps!

  • @alicejohn8248
    @alicejohn8248 3 года назад +7

    Jovita, while taking out, you just need to pinch the bottom of the cup, it releases the air suction pressure. Then gently holding the bottom, pull out the cup in a way that you can hold the contents without spilling and then empty out the contents into the commode. Taking out should ideally not be painful at all. Hope this helps!

  • @shiwalisingh7477
    @shiwalisingh7477 3 года назад +8

    Before taking that out .. just pinch hard at the base of cup ( just above the tail) . And slowly wiggle that downward. And then simply slide it out . Pinching actually breaks the suction.. trust me this works wonderfully.. using aneer cup from last 4 years … affordable and made in India….

  • @aparna463
    @aparna463 3 года назад +21

    The holes are for breaking the suction. Also, if the suction is completely gone, it may not hurt. It hurts when the suction is still present.. Also, I have been using the boondh cup since 2017. It works beautifully. It sort of has thicker walls, so it opens easily inside..breaking the suction is also easier.

      I tried Boond and I want Boondh to work. But the stem is too small and gets very messy when removing. Any tips?

    • @aparna463
      @aparna463 3 года назад +1

      Personally, I felt that a smaller stem is better. Because then you can easily reach for the base of the cup without a long stem obstructing your way. I reach for the base with two fingers, break the suction and pull it out. It did get a bit messy initially, but I doubt it has got to do anything with the length of the stem. I pull it out with the same pinch I use to break the suction. I found that better

    I've been using safecup medium for about 8 months and I was having a lot of cramps. I thought it was a normal menstrual cramp but whenever I took the cup out, I didn't feel any pain. So I figured out that it's actually coz of the firmness of the cup that I was experiencing bladder tightness and back cramps. Otherwise safecup was really good with heavy flow and I had zero leakage. I searched a lot for a comparatively softer cups as I really want to eliminate the pain. This video really helped me. I'm gonna purchase the carmesi one right now as I was searching for a softer yet firm cup. Hope it'll work for me.
    Since I'm in my 30s with no kids, I use the medium sized one. It's true that initially I had a slight tight feeling and pain while taking out the cup but as months passed, we do experiment a lot. I did put one of my fingers in to cut the air pressure and kinda pinched my cup as much as possible so that it would come out with as less pain as possible, all of this while sitting on the toilet so that even if the blood spills it's gonna be inside the toilet pot and wouldn't look like I committed a murder inside the washroom.
    Another tip I can give to the comment viewers are try using tilt undies letstilt.com/ or any undies which have an antimicrobial fibre as it helps the blood to dry fast and not let you leak and its very easy to wash and clean (if you experience leakage at night). If you leak more you may try period panties. Thus you won't have to use pads or panty liners as well.

    💜 Hi...actually it was your first video that made me aware that cups cud get lost inside, so also when I braved it the first time, I was prepared. I have been using it since and still taking it out is a task, i know. This is what works for me in the first three days. Once I know the cup is full (I feel air escaping, like fart or bubble bursting and I know my cup is full). When the cup is full it comes out easy. I squat down and it comes down easily and I usually use my point finger and thumb and once I feel the bottom of the cup, I squeeze it, which releases the suction(I find inserting one finger all the way too much) and I take it out. Some blood spills, but thats ok. On days with light flow, I just hope I am relaxed and squat until it is down. Best wishes next time. 💜

    Oh my lord! Ioosing a cup inside is one of the nightmares I never fuckin want to experience. Also washing the cup & popping the cup inside me and pull it out is definitely not for me. I guess figuring this out is so much hustle for me and also sanitizing is a different level of thing. I am definitely going to stick with my comfy pads as long as i can and would choose to move ahead with anything else later only if i want. But girl, you do you. So the best way to take out the cup is shit in a poop position and then give pressure just like your pooping and the cup will come a little lower you will feel the stamp ,hold the stamp stand up again give some pressure again and then you will feel the base ,pinch the base then slowly wiggle the cup, it will come out very easily, that's my invitation to remove the cup ,i created it by my experience❤️ i hope it will help you

    Hi so I’m 17 and I used the PEE SAFE period cup for the first time yesterday and honestly it wasn’t too bad. I used the cup in XS size and actually inserting the cup is a little hard for me. Everytime I bend the cup inside it either pops out or it feels like it’s dragging against my skin down there when I push it in. During the day the cup sits well it feels like nothing, I’m able to run, exercise and do everything like I normally do. But it’s been leaking while I sleep in the night and maybe I didn’t insert it correctly on my part but yeah that’s the only downside. Taking the cup out is easier for me, I reach and squish the cup near the top and pull it out and yep it’s done! I empty it wash it and insert it again. The cup definitely requires more effort inserting and taking out but it feels wayy better than a pad ever could and yeah I would recommend to my age and above

    So i have done Lottt of research and also been using cups for last 2 months and have already bought 3 cup from 3 different brands but the carmesi one is the game changer for me. I have a high cervix but the serona one doesn't have that long of a stem,I also bought one from bombae shaving women and the quality is not as good it seemed to me as serona or carmesi. Carmesi one is soft but more firm hence it does open unlike the other 2. Serona one is of good quality as well but it doesn't have that firm base line as carmesi, maybe that's why it doesn't open easily. Totally recomend carmesi menstruation cup if u have a high cervix, might have to cup the stem it u have a low cervix. I even bought a medium one for me cause the small one fills in about 5hours on a heavy day for me.

    • @27mauve
      @27mauve 2 года назад

      Hey, just to put in my two bits (have been using the cup for 6 years now), the cup can lose suction because of several things- lots of movement while it is full, not getting fixed properly in the first place (always rotate after inserting- rotating smoothly means the suction is proper; if not, you need to reinsert) and being the wrong size (sometimes the cup being a size small can mean bad suction). Maybe it could be one of these?

    I did have another cup but it did not work but the carmesi cup worked for me as well in the size small and I agree it did hurt the 1st time removing it. But that was only for the 1st cycle and the next month it was totally comfortable and I was like 'pehle kyun na mile hum?' to the carmesi cup 😅

    Hey Jovita 😀
    I've bought a cup from Carmesi after your recommendation. I have already tried a cup from Sirona but for whatever reason I just dont seem to get comfortable with it (I gave solid 2 years). However Carmesi cup seems promising especially due to it's elongated shape. Looking forward to try it out. Thank you so much 😀😘

      Hey! I'm pretty confused between sirona and carmesi. Could you give an update? Which one did you like better? And why does being elongated matter?

      @@srijakumar6900 I liked the Carmesi cup over Sirona. Talking about Carmesi cup so basically due to its elongated shape it is comparatively narrower than Sirona cup which makes it easier to insert. They both hold the same amount of liquids so it's the shape which made it easier for me to insert and remove.

    Haha this is my second cycle of using period cup.
    The first cycle was tough, it was confusing, scary yet got quite better on 4th day.
    But I was still scared for the next cycle since I was still not confident about it.
    Today, well just few minutes ago, my second cycle started. Was I scared to use period cup? Hell yeah.
    So I made my prayers, and then went on to use the cup. I made the 7-fold (ofc you can use your own folds), wiggled it inside my baby, then boom, it went right inside her.
    I was like, what? Is it done?
    It didn't even take me a minute, just few jiggling and it went inside like it found its home.
    Well, it's a wonderful experience with the cup for me. Everyone, who is scared about it, it will definitely get better. Go on and try it.

    Hii.. while removing the cup remove suction same as u do and try to fold it like a C fold inside itself. There will obviously be spillage but there will not be any pain.
    Hope this helps ❤️

    What is the cup size for non-virgin?🤔small or medium? I heard lot from other RUclipsrs saying:
    Virgin: small
    Non virgin: medium
    After vaginal birth: large
    I think that the size selection will be a trial and error method.

    • @dailyanimalshortsplanet_27
      @dailyanimalshortsplanet_27 3 года назад

      But everyone has different vagina size. I'm non virgin but I use small because medium is too large for me. You have to try different sizes for current cup. You just can't randomly choose just because you tubers says that. Even after birth they have to choose correct size, problem who birth naturally and c section they need different sizes. 😊

    • @jennycull1061
      @jennycull1061 3 года назад

      Nothing like that. Virgin or not doesn't matter. It only matters if you've had natural child birth. For most people medium fits well. But it is a trial and error process for sure

    • @MrJovitageorge
      @MrJovitageorge  3 года назад

      Exactly, I think you need to go through a beginning phase of trial and error to really figure out your size. By my 5th cup I realized I’m a size medium
