This “buffet” looks like a small family reunion spread. For the price it’s absolutely not worth it. Maybe 10 options doesn’t make a buffet to me personally.

I was there on passholder preview day with my s/o. we were stuck trying this new buffet because the tasting pass lines were ridiculous… someone had told us a 4 hour wait at one point. so.. we stuck the buffet out. it wasn’t great at all. we hate complaining but.. I won’t be back personally. lol

Food looks like tired & sitting in the warming trays for hours. Also, some of the food on the buffet are odd choices (mushrooms, kale salad, chicken in a biscuit casserole, etc).
The buffet looks unappetizing. No telling how long the food has been sitting out there. No salad bar. No selection of breads or rolls. No fried chicken. I’d avoid it like the plague.
One would get fried chicken at aunt Granny’s, this is offering different items with a kale salad.
Yuck!! I would rather stop by any grocery store and purchase a to-go meal than eat that crap. Dry, under seasoned, tasteless wood.
wow. kinda shocked. you guys were there for like an hour? NO ONE ELSE entered or exited the entire time you were there. that's amazing.
As I said, it was the calm before the spring break storm. It was very quiet in the park on this evening, it was very relaxing!
@@AdventureIsOutThere Stop making excuses for that crappy buffet. It was the calm because no one wants to pay 25 bucks for that crap. Not enough food to select from and that dessert bar is a joke.
Places like buffets scare me especially when there is nobody there eating it.

I'm super surprised that the staff left that pork loin out for any customers to eat, because it was WAY too dried out. I think that Dolly would be disappointed about that.
As we stated in the video, we prefer Aunt Granny's inside Dollywood over this for $2 more. But we still found things we enjoyed and are grateful for a great night at Dollywood!

Shouldnt the lids be closed so the food doesnt get all cold and crusty? And $13 for children who dont eat much is insane! Great review! 😊

That's the point. They don't eat much BUT waste much more. I thought the same thing when they read the menu. Then I thought about it

that's what I was thinking. I was actually kind of grossed out at the whole set-up. it was kind of scary too. not at all what I expected from Dollywood. I know it is known for the food and the deliciousness of it all. that did not look delicious in any way at all. yuck. no.

I don’t think the buffet looked at all worth the price the food was underwhelming. I love pigeon forge cannot wait to go again. Ps i have asked this a number of times and never get an answer but what is a good little town close enough within 1-2 hours of pigeon forge to live? Thank you for sharing

I've never heard of DollyWood, but based on what I see--the smaller scale, more laid-back, gentle vibe, and manageable crowd density, I'd be way more inclined to visit this park than anything in the Mouse Kingdom. Thanks

Nice tractor of grandpas. The bird was so cute! I don’t know what that weed is called but it’s hardy for sure, same for buttercups. The truck is coming along nicely. Beautiful farm.

I feel like you caught them on a day they weren't expecting anyone at all because the idea and setting of everything was well done but i definitely wouldn't be happy PAYING to eat THAT exact serving. Maybe theyll step it up by the time the spring break crowd comes in next week.. Thank guys!!

Please explain discount passes? Where do you buy them? Would they benefit a family who may only go once? Yes, Dairy free and gluten free foods are really important to people who have allergies. We get tired of packing our own lunch.

Brussel Sprouts aren't baby cabbages. Many Brussel Sprouts grow on a single stalk. A head of cabbage is on a single stalk. An immature cabbage is more leaf like before it heads into a round cabbage. Both belong to the Brassica family of plants.
Brussels Sprouts on the stalk are a beautiful sight in the fall
They also taste completely different. Cabbage can be eaten raw too whereas brussel sprouts are disgusting raw.
You can cut a cabbage at the base and each rib of the cabbage will grow a minicabbage which look and tastes just like Brussel sprouts!
I agree with yall on the buffet. I enjoyed it but I think aunt granny's is better.. I will see what next buffet has during next festival..
With the price so similar, Aunt Granny's is still the best option in our opinion, but this is a great plan B option. After talking to the Chef, we were excited to come back and try the new menu at the next festival!

That buffet looked pretty bad. It is almost closing time but I would not choose this for a meal. The atmosphere looks like prison or high school (same thing). We are going to Dollywood in May. Thanks for showing me the buffet as we will make a different choice for food.
It was actually very relaxing & quiet as we mentioned in the video. The menu of the buffet changes on April 19th and we plan to show what it is like then.

This probably comes from a central kitchen. There are big warmers off to the side.
It looks like they took a lunch area and made it a pop up restaurant. The signage is even from an overnight place.

It looked pretty good, definitely a nice option for families. I really enjoyed the bloopers at the end! You should do that more often. 😄

The two plants have different taste and different nutritional values. They are also strikingly different while still in the ground. The cabbage grows a large, single head, close to the ground, while the Brussels sprout grows a tall central stem, with lots of small sprouts clustered around it.
No shield over the food. People can sneeze on it.

It's an amusement park buffet. It ain't gonna be a Michelin meal. For the price at a park, that's hard to beat.

From Southern California, we visited Dollywood last December mid-week and stumbled upon the buffet's Thanksgiving menu. It was very good and VERY cold there...heaters were thankfully scattered around the picnic tables. Excellent value and a good experience. Fun to see your video...hard to believe you two were all alone on a Friday evening.

I love you videos I was wondering if you go to companies where you could you rent a cabin and which company is the best from 1 bedroom to two three and more there is not any you tuber provider shows where a great place to stay and with pets would love if you would do some of those videos

I LOVE buffets and would totally eat here. The problem with Dollywood is the 'kids' age for Aunt Granny's and the Spring Buffet stops at I believe 9 years old. That means you have to pay adult pricing for all the kids out of that range and it gets exponentially more expensive. If you have any kids that are above that age, but don't eat a lot it's not cost effective. We used to love Aunt Granny's but priced out these days because we're basically charged adult pricing for the whole family and that's not worth it for some fried chicken and sides. Again I'd go here 100% and love buffets, just wish Dollywood had better staggered pricing for kids. Have fun at the parks!

Baby cabbage is a sweet cabbage and looks like a small white cabbage. Grows to the size of a baseball in a cabbage patch. Brussels sprouts grow on a branch and taste bitter.
