I just had the thought that it's also possible they went with this bland design due to the fact that they sell much more unique popcorn buckets at Super Nintendo World (those being one that's mario in his kart, and one that's a mushroom)
I’m currently writing an essay for university on the concept of taste in film and aesthetic criticism in the case of the mario movie, it’s insane the difference between the critics and audiences and I decided to write my essay on it. Honestly it’s insane the difference between critics and fans, I definitely think the film is definitely weak narratively and I really personally still enjoyed it and thought the animation looked surprisingly appealing. (I’m an animation student and the silly lighting made me happy). Tbh I’m glad you made a video about it as I can use it as an excuse for research Lmao I won’t literally explain my own essay but great video!! Btw: I definitely wished Luigi was the protagonist, the hero’s journey would’ve made so much sense
I don't think I've ever seen a creative novelty popcorn bucket, now that I think about it? All the movie theatres I've been to have just have cardboard ones with movie related things printed on them. Kind of a shame - I really want to see one now 😭
I honestly want more of these bucket reviews. I literally laughed out loud. So glad I found this Chanel. Also why is your voice so comforting? That is all thank you.
I think that this movie's biggest selling point is that it is Fun, but beyond that, it's pretty empty. I remember being pleasantly surprised by it, especially the music. I wish Luigi was in it more, Charlie Day's performance was my favorite, but the movie as a whole definitely isn't the worst thing that I've seen. Then again, I got jumpscared by the dry Koopa in the woods outside of Bowser's castle and yelped in the theater (I was the only one to make any noise) and that was so embarrassing that I think my opinion gets cancelled out by that
fantastic video!! been watching you for a little bit and i really like your content :] also can we PLEASE talk about how rushed the writing is, especially when mario is asking peach for help and hes like "princes!! my brother got kidnapped help me!!" and shes like "yeah come into my office" like.. they don't even introduce themselves?? there is no "hi im mario, and you must be princess peach" its just straight to one of 30 montages in the film
I saw the Mario Movie twice on my own volition, mainly because Jack Black. And no, I WENT WITH A FRIEND WHO I SAW IT THE FIRST TIME WITH, WE BOTH SAW IT TWICE.
10:16 Anya Taylor Joy also did a different voice to her own. She's an entire British woman, I'd have loved her accent for Peach tbh 16:42 now why in the hell would you do that sound thing? 😂 I threw my phone across my room.
Your videos are really good! With each video it seems like your production quality improves, with the editing and cinematography on this video actually being quite a major improvement compared to even your last video. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to whatever you post next! Edit: this video is so stupid and I love it
I got a Ghost Trap popcorn bucket from the new Ghostbusters. It's my second favorite popcorn bucket, trailing slightly behind the decapitated Mechagodzilla head from the Neon Genesis Evangelion Godzilla theme park ride😊
Hey there! Sorry if this is weird, but i just wanted to say i really like your videos, theyre fun to have on in the backround while im playing ds games :3
40 miles? That’s nothing. I drove over 130 miles to get the D&D popcorn bucket. The almost 2 hour long anxiety attack worried it would sell out before I got there was worth it when I was able to get it.
the dog scene felt so much like fluff, overall the movie was fine, but could've just done so much more. something else i've heard one other person talk about: mario's dad. he is a jerk to mario for the very short time he is on screen, constantly blaming him for dragging luigi down. then at the end of the movie mario just forgives him after his dad says one nice thing. maybe it's just some bad experiences i've had, but god that scene made this movie dropped down in enjoyability
Honestly i wasnt even that appreciative or entertained by the niche references. I was hoping for the dk rap & crew since the beginning of the movie… but with the pace of the movie being so fast it really felt like such a blip when it got to it. That and the aesthetic of that part of the movie felt so removed from what i remember of the actual games.
Admire the devotion here. Convinced you could solve cold fusion if you put ur efforts into that. A slay is a slay etc.
I can and will do that in the next one
The comitment, the dedication. He is a man of sheer will.
What an entertaining journey.
Thank you thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻 glad you enjoyed and thanks for being here!

the DEDICATION, the PRODUCTION VALUE, the WIT, are UNMATCHED
THANK YOU THANK YOU PEACE AND LOVE

Yeah as of late they are few and far between, be on the lookout!

Bucket Review is the best tv segment i have ever seen
I got a Ghost Trap popcorn bucket from the new Ghostbusters. It's my second favorite popcorn bucket, trailing slightly behind the decapitated Mechagodzilla head from the Neon Genesis Evangelion Godzilla theme park ride😊
I’m so floored you don’t have more subs, your content is lovely and hilarious. Rock on!

wait till that bucket review guy hears about the communal spit bucket from the homestuck fandom
It’s Mean Girls: the Bucket.
i was about to say that the eel is from super mario 64 but you saved yourself. be more careful next time /lh
I really like your videos. I hope you keep making them
I thought I was the only one who didn't consider 90 minutes of references to be perfection, which is what I'm hearing way too much.
I wanted the d20 popcorn buckets
That’s a too 10 bucket to be frank with you, Cooper
40 miles? That’s nothing. I drove over 130 miles to get the D&D popcorn bucket. The almost 2 hour long anxiety attack worried it would sell out before I got there was worth it when I was able to get it.
Thank you for the John green reference.
I use mine as a plant pot cover and drip tray 😂
love the vlogbrothers reference xD
I mean… when in an airport!!
Best unexpected movie review ever!
Interesting takes. Cool video man. I have nothing creative to comment but I want to anyway.

i wanted to comment something interesting because i’m early but i realised i’m a really boring person and i don’t have anything to say
Well thanks for being here, it means a lot :)
