Mecanotech Metallica couldn’t never reach heights without Lars he’s not best drummer but he arranges songs and from Business standpoint Lars is a brain behind Metallica machine.Dave lombardo is great drummer way better then Lars but I seriously doubt if Metallica could create Master of puppets ,Ride the Lightning with Dave

That ain't true, in recent years is pretty common to see James playing Iron Crosses (Les Paul shaped) and Flying V's as well. Obviously the Explorer is going to be his signature, but he is more open minded now.

He did that he lived breathed slept and dreamed for many many years rock and roll women and jack Daniels even when he was dying! Lived to 70 and still performed on stage until his body physically couldn’t anymore Lemmy was insane and truly once in a lifetime!
I meant to say that I liked Hetfield better when he was still drinking. He is probably better off now, but all that "Metallica family" and "We love you all" talk isn't really doing it for me.
As much of a legend as Hetfield is, it's sad to see he can't even compose himself properly to play the song - and don't give me that gruff about playing with his heroes, at this point he well and truly knew the song inside out, you can tell from the close ups he needed help from his 'demons'. Still it's great to see Papa Het with Motorhead on stage.
It’s sad but true no pun intended at this point James’s drinking was really getting out of hand it was only getting worse in many documentaries and interviews probably he was ripping his family apart and not setting a good example for his kids soon after this his wife would kick him out of the house from his behavior being drunk and that “woke” James up and told him he needed to get help or else his entire life would be gone faster than he could get sober on his own accord his drinking seriously got bad once cliff died but they said in one documentary one night he was forced to “confront his demons” during a hunting trip in Russia for a solid week buried in 4 feet of snow there was nothing to do in a chicken shack expect sit there and drink he said it felt like a coffin for him to do that that only made his drinking which was already bad probably 10x worse than it already was
