Great review. One word of advice though: next time do not fast forward the video when you are actually blending with the Vitamix. People might be interested in hearing the noise level produced by the machine.
I really wanted to get the a2500 blender because I like that it has actual switches and dial. But we were told that the metal finishes of the a3500 create more sound dampening making the a3500 the quietest model. So we went for that one as we really needed the quietest possible. But I was very disappointed that I didn't have that option with the a2500 which I like the feel of and the control it gives me better.
I can't normally sit thru an entire unboxing/review video of any product without constantly forwarding/skipping parts. This review is one of those rare ones I sat thru entirely... twice! And at the end of it, I was convinced the A2500 is what I wanted so ordered it from Best Buy :) Terrific review!
So excited to get mine. Been vegan for about half a year and been making a smoothie for 2 years daily. Hahah. That was the second time I’ve heard someone say “ oh that smells so good” when opening the lid on the vitamix. Thanks for the video

This is a freaking amazing and beautiful machine!!! Something this sturdy and this valuable has so many uses in a cooks kitchen!!! I could do so much with a tool like this!! Kinda sucks I can’t afford this 😭 I wish I could buy something like this or even one of the small ones. I’ve been cooking since I was 8 years old and food and cooking is just pure unadulterated magic. It’s one of the simple pleasures on earth, being able to cook a hot delicious meal for a loved one or someone in need is a reward in in of itself!!! Aaaahhhh one day I shall have the name needed to buy all these amazing kitchen tools. It shall make it easier for me to help my city and give back even more to the ppl who need a little care and hope!
I actually prefer this model over the 3500. The physical controls are much nicer than a capacitive touch strip. It's a shame they don't offer the 2500 with the same metal finish.
@@hamada-1987 It is SO GREAT! The white. The twist dial. It is too great! I go cheap on some things in life, but tools and home-goods are quality: Vitamix, Allegro made in canada whole house vacuum is $500 dollars, but nowadays Shark vac is overrated and close to $500. So now more than ever I would buy value, but stay cheap on some things. The Vitamix food processor is too much for me. The little spice mix and drink cup by vitamix are great.
Rosangela, the smoothie pre-set could work for juice just fine since the ingredients can be similar. If you need you juice blended more, you can always use the manual function after the preset. I hope this helps 👩🍳
Tonni, the A2500 rocks! We didn't run into any issues while we tested the unit. Vitamix has a great 10-year warranty on this line, they really stand behind their products. Learn more - Vitamix: evkitch.com/2L1tv1j

Hi! I recently bought the reconditioned new "A2500" model at a great price online on Black Friday (I didn't received it yet!), but now I hesitate because the reconditioned "Standard Programs" is currently also at a great price ($30 lower than the reconditioned "A2500"). Both seem to have the same features (3 preset programs), but the A2500 is more "techno". The jars are also different and that's what makes me the most hesitant, because the jar of the Standard Programs seems more practical for small blend. Do you have a preference? Thank you :)
@@EverythingKitchens i just today want to buy but didn't know if to choose red or white. you have the only video with red black. if you say..i will choose red. thanks my friend!
Sam Lee, we have not noticed that on our a2500 or a2300 when we were testing it. Vitamix may be able to answer your question 800.848.2649 is their Household support phone number.
What happens when you turn on the blender without placing the jar on the blender base? Does it run without the base, or does it run only when the jar is placed on top?
Jaded K, great question! The Vitamix must detect a blender jar in order to for the blender base to run, so it will only run when a compatible Ascent blender jar is placed on top.
I Isreal Amaro, any blender with this powerful of a motor is going to have some noise. If you want a powerful blender but need to keep it quiet, check out the Kuvings Vaccum Blender: evkitch.com/2n1PiyL or the Blendtec Stealth 800: evkitch.com/2Ij7hdG - both have a noise-canceling enclosure that keeps even a powerful blender quiet in the morning. I hope this helps! -Chef Austin 👨🍳
This is not much of a test, he only makes a spinach smoothie at the end. More of a sales promo ad. Too bad, I like this company and did buy a Waring commercial 500 dollar blender from them 7 years ago (just died). A real test would be how well it breaks hard little seeds, like those in blackberries. Or how hot it gets making almond butter. Then compare the results with how well the A2500 compares with other Vitamix models, Blendtec models, etc. using the exact same ingredients, quantities, and times. Hey Everything Kitchens, up your game!!

Easy! Add 8 oz pineapple juice, 1 cup packed spinach, 1/2 ripe peeled avocado, 1/2 frozen banana, and a 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks. Blend and enjoy!
I have my Vitamix since >2years, please read my story. VITAMIX is anything but reliable. After a while your highly likely run into the problem that your container does not get recognised. In my case right after purchase, basically right after unpacking, the container was not recognised. Vitamix sent me a new one but I should have already known that the design is flawed. Now, after 2.5 years, same issue, but no warranty! Meaning, the Vitamix is useless. Go for something more basic and reliable. The autodetect function is a big mess. I do not know how they could introduce such a fragile tech to the market.
Why do people use these awful marketing terms like 'wireless self-detect technology?" Just call it what it is: an NFC tag on the bottom of the jar. It's a novel use of NFC, sure, but the technology itself is neither groundbreaking nor expensive.
