XD Yeah, I know how you feel. On my warrior characters Im disenchanting gear that my mages would die for and vice-versa. I hope you don't feel too much pain when I start sacrificing daedric/aedric artifacts. XD
I am glad you enjoyed! If there is anywhere you want me to check out, let me know in comments. Though please consider my level and build. I probably can't handle Dimhollow or Bleak falls barrow boss just yet.
@Mikezodia i quickly realiced that lorerim is almost a full makeover of the game so besides that previous anotation about the anniversay edition necro enchant i have nothing else for you man. I'll sit and watch as you walk this game. Enjoying every minute of it xD
It’s part of the Undeath mod. I did a little bit of research and came across this! 💀 “Shade of the Revenant: Show your devotion to the Black Arts by offering grand soul gems to the forgotten patron of Necromancy at his altars. Evoke dark magic to blacken Grand and greater soul gems for your use!”
I am still pretty new to the whole youtube aspect but I do see that option in the manage video sections. I'll have to give that a test. :D Ty for the advice.

Hey is beyond Skyrim Bruma included in Lorerim because if it is it would be awesome if you could eventually play that expansion so we can see what it looks like with Lorerims insanely good graphics! Plus there's also plenty of necromancer themed content.
I'll check with some discord friends to make sure and get back to you. Lorerim does add a bunch of new stuff like Cyrodiil. Good chance that one may be in there too.
Just checked with friend and yes, Skyrim Bruma is included in Lorerim. Though I will admit I am unfamiliar with that mod so if you know how to start it, please let me know. :)
@@Mikezodia Oh I think you have to go to the pale pass at the southern end of the map where you'll find the border to Bruma and have to talk to a guard before being let in. You should definitely play the mod because it's absolutely amazing and will look absolutely GORGEOUS with Lorerims graphics. Tons of mage/necromancer content 👍

absolutely loving this playthrough, but not for me. i dont like being to squishy if my summons die lol Remi is indeed a mage now, but she can still picklock
XD Yeah, it's why I am raising light armor. Though you could always make a heavy armor version and not be squishy. It's also my choices of skill tree. I didn't grab destruction or illusion which gave me few more options as I wanted to try something.
If you haven’t already tried it out Scroll crafting is really good when you are just starting out, lets you make scrolls for most spells you know. You can buy the tool for it from most court mages then to make scrolls it’s just paper and soul gems, it’s pretty cheap to set up. I used it a lot for high magicka cost spells like summon storm atronach, pop a scroll if you end up low on Magicka while still in a fight.
What are your thoughts on mage vs atronach stone? I want to run an altmer robed spell blade. I know it’s not necessarily optimal. I’m just having a hard time picking between the stronger spells or the absorption
the 20% damage does help, but mage requires you to stay on top of your magicka. You won't have the large pool of the aatronach or the regen of apprentice. And unfortunately the robes you start with or get early on won't be enough. You'll have to rely heavily on magicka recovery spells if you spam spells. I mean, later on, once you are able to increase your magicka total higher, it doesn't become an issue. However... Aatronach gives you over 80 levels worth of magicka and spell absorbtion which is always great to have. Spells wont drain your magicka from you either. The only downside is you'll have to drain magicka from foes or cast a magicka recovery spell to 'recharge' during/after combat since it will not regenerate at all on its own (there is also magicka recovery gear that works with aatronach). Aatronach also pairs like butter and toast with Magnus deity which greatly reduces spell cost. So, my final thoughts: take the aatronach and chug a fortify destruction potion. Because if that extra 400+ magicka lets you cast one more spell... it'll be greater than just 20% more damage.
@@Mikezodia thanks for the input. I went with the atronach and I think it’s the right choice. I took the morthal home start and yolo rushed a hag raven with a mace, tanking all her spells (super lucky 🍀) which was incredibly satisfying. my requiem knowledge is limited and even more so with LoreRim. Are there any other avenues to stacking magic absorption outside of the being a Breton and the lv 100 alt perk? I had no clue about magicka recovery gear that works with the atronach. I’ll have to prioritize finding it and maybe add enchanting to my build.
@@043Tarzan Yeah, on some characters I found rings that gave spell absorption, so Im pretty sure more stuff like that exist. As for magicka recovery... remember this. Aatronach stops your NATURAL magicka regeneration. So mage robes which increases your magicka regeneration by 100% or whatever, is useless. However, if it restores magicka by a flat number, those are not natural, and will be allowed. For example: There is potion of magicka regeneration, which increases your natural regen... that wont work. But a regular potion of magicka, that restores 2 magicka per second, will work. This same logic applies to spell and gears. Look for ones that raise by a number and doesn't raise YOUR magicka regen.
To regain magicka with Atronach you can use these Destruction: Circle of Entropy, any leech magicka spells (they work the best if you have high skill) Conjuration: Water Totem, you can leech magicka from your summons with leech spells from Destruction but they attack you after 4 hit, but you can leech from reanimate as much you want Restoration: Circle of Moon These are spells up to Adept level, probably there are better on higher level.
have you onsiedered doing the dawnguard dlc? one of the rewards you get during that questline is the summon of duhrneviir the necromancer dragon or undead dragon. would be kind of cool for the fantasy of the build you are going for xD
XD Trust me, I definitely want to do dawnguard. It's just that I remember sending my level 15 necromancer into dimhollow and died many times just to reach Serana. Dimhollow is a 'death zone' which means I wont respawn, instead it loads previous save. And because we're using a modlist, that requires me to restart Lorerim from desktop to load. I mean, I could always cut out the reloads with video editing, but I would at least want to reach a level where the amount of times I die will be reasonable. XD
XD yeah it felt really weird. Also, if its anything like other shapeshifting, if you die in that form, it doesn't respawn you, you just die and reload last save (which unfortunately means I have to restart from desktop). I'll see, maybe I could use it as a scout or something. I haven't tested if it's health is linked to mine ( I sure hope it isn't ).
37:52 that is such a great sword that it pains me to see you disenchant it. I know you’ll never use it, but still

I believe the altar that you encountered allows you to turn soul gems into black soul gems. It could be like the one in Gallow's Hall.
Really, i did not know this. :O That would could in handy later if I start enchanting. I'll make sure to look into how the timing works.

I got the amulet yesterday and with atronach + magnus deity I have like 850 magicka and -50% cost for all spells. It feels very OP.

Can the totem and circle of entropy be stacked for their recovery speed?
Yeah easily. According to modlist creator, he mentioned something about buffing circle of entropy too, so there's that.
