@@kelsonlaborde8645Peter and Mick Jaggers version is better than the Temptations original version. I don't care what anyone says cause Peter Tosh is the King of Reggae 💚💛❤️ however I'm glad Mick Jagger and the Stones are still rocking and shocking plus I heard Mick celebrated his 80th birthday this year in 2023 and this year is Peter's 36th anniversary of his death at the hands of Tosh's so called friend Dennis leppo.

You can tell drugs was the glue in their friendship and music collaboration. Peter tolerates Micks shenanigans a lot in this video, that means he’s spent time with him and understood his background and personality. Besides, it’s on record that British & Jamaican people get along pretty well, it precedes colonial ties, they just get along, it’s so strong that the Patios lingo dominates black-dominated areas in the UK. Anyway great collaboration, one is a kid from trenchtown🇯🇲and the other is a kid from Kent🇬🇧 coming together through music. I rate this song 9/10 👏🏾

When he landed in Swaziland, he stepped off the jet with a fat joint. Fans on the tarmac (designated area) were happy and shouting. One fan shouts.... "who gave you permission?" (to be smoking the joint) Peter just took a big drag, held the joint high and said *"I am permission "* . Well... let me tell you.... EVERYONE at the concert got high. Whether you smoked or not. One of the best concerts of my life.

RIP Peter Tosh, gunned down by some bad boys. I understand that Peter was busted with someone else, who agreed to take the rap as long as Peter was going to take care of his family and people when he was in jail. He didn't do that and so he got a bam bam. Correct me if I got the story wrong.

The places behind you let them re-remind you
If your first lover broke your heart,
There's something that can be done.
You don't run it, you don't hide it, you don't run it
Don't end your faith in love because of what he's done.
So if you just put your hand in mine,
We're gonna leave all our troubles behind.
Keep on walking and don't look back.
    Forget about the past now.
    Don't look back, baby.
Keep on walking and don't look back
The places behind you let them re-remind you.

Great vibes. Great sax solo by Luther Francois. Jazz musician from St. Lucia. Great solo on Bob Marley and Wailers' Wake up and live also. A young jazz musician then.

Whatever one may think of the Glimmer Twins (Jagger & Richards), they gave the great tosh a lot of exposure when he opened for the Stones in 78. The albums Tosh recorded on Rolling Stones label (Bush dr and Mystic man) are among his best.

That distinctive voice of Jagger's led me to this album.
It reminds me of the Keith Richard's song, "Before They Make Me Run" on the 1978 album Some Girls. Which happens to be the same year Tosh released "Bush Doctor".

I've sometimes thought Peter Tosh was secure enough with his sexuality to not be fussed, like he'd think 'Whatever makes you happy', like the serial one night stand guy Lemmy K from Motorhead.
