I love colourful scrappy quilts. They get used more since we worry less about them!

I’m a beginner quilter working on my first quilt. This tutorial is helping me not stress over cutting, measuring, trimming every, single, piece of scrap. Thank you.

This is just what I was looking for,so pleased I wasn't the only person keeping every scrap of fabric . Love the idea using salvage edges...thank you so much...

Glad you like it Chris. I too hate wasting material... mind you, I have enough scraps to make about 18 of these ;-) c x

Loved you not very keen on the quilt but really enjoyed your video

Ha ha, yes it is quite 'loud' isn't it?
You could get a beautiful effect using this method with a very limited colour palette, especially if you top stitched a wave pattern over the whole surface once it's put together, c x

I'm wondering if she brings the blade down because she is left handed. It's hard for me to watch too!

Very grateful to learn the way you use small pieces of fabric so well to make a quilt. Thank you. I am going to try it out.
