The evolution of "am i a swiftie?" To putting jake on notice is incredible
Red has historically been such a "swiftie-maker" is almost incredible.
If you like Petty Taylor, prepare yourself for Speak Now 👀
And fearless😅
Yess
I hope speak now is next.
And TTPD 😂
I always cry to Ronan and haven’t listened to it in almost a decade but will turn it down and let it play through so it counts as profits for the mom and her foundation. It’s tooooo devastating.
Great idea; thanks for the suggestion.
Great idea!!❤
Better Man doesn’t have an ‘original’ older cut. She gave it to a country band to sing, and it was a huge hit for them. Fun fact: My friend’s daughter was in the music video!
Better Man actually has a demo, thats just taylor, it leaked right before Red TV dropped.
Better man's 2012 demo is available in RUclips
I prefer little big town's version of better man just because that's the first one I heard so I'm used to it. Lol
@@uranus_crunch_cake87 controversial take but I really like that version too!
@@uranus_crunch_cake87 personally taylors demo is the best version, because of all the raw emotion you can feel with the song and her young vocals
if you want to listen to more songs that are technically on red, there are also songs from the hunger games called “safe & sound” and “eyes open” that she re-recorded
You should definitely react to the music video for ‘I bet you think about me.’ It’s a sassy good time.
YESSSSS, I was gonna suggest that too! The wedding cake scene 😂
Also Sugarland’s version of “Babe” (ft. Taylor in an uncharacteristic role)
She’s reacted to it on patreon:)
YES! 100%

I will always love 22, even though it is kinda cheesy, as I know Taylor was just so excited to have a good birthday, after her 21st sucked.
Cheetah girls reference had me on the floor 😂😂😂😂
“ I’m getting tired of your broken promithes promthes”
Ronan is on a short list of Taylor songs I simply cannot listen to. Also on that list are Soon You'll Get Better and Robin. I always know I'll be ugly crying by the end, because those songs make me think of specific people and I just cannot. Loved your reaction to Red! It's a great album and one of my favorite Taylor albums.
Add bigger than the whole sky to that list too 😢
Yeah, I'm a therapist so i can handle most things, but I have 2 toddlers and i absolutely can't listen to Ronan. I've gotta make my kids lunch, i can't be ugly crying while my kids are running around.
I've never listened to Ronan😢😢
Gonna start playing it thru on silent so the mom can receive the benefits 🎉
Girl at Home is one of the few records that really sounds different production-wise from the original. The original was firmly more in the country/pop space.
the og version was a demo so ig taylor swanted it to have a fuller production
@@adiehardthestoryofusfan1621 thats interesting! I loved the stolen version a lot, but I can accept that Taylors Version is - literally - Taylors true vision for the song.
The original is SO MUCH BETTER 😭
“She was going through it on this album” is pretty much a perfect description of Red. Acoustic State of Grace is just a perfect acoustic song - so simultaneously delicate and powerful.
You should consider doing a reaction to the I Bet You Think About MV too.
Nothing New’s commentary on how the industry and society treat women is incredible, especially considering Taylor was 22 when she wrote it. The through-lines from songs like The Lucky One and Nothing New to Clara Bow are one of the many reasons Swift’s such an exceptional songwriter.
TTPD is now my favorite album, but this is the first time I’ve been able to pick a single favorite TS album since Red came out. After Rep came out I had to just say I was a Red/Rep girlie and then after Folklore I was a Red/Rep/Folklore girlie.
And I agree that Forever Winter being track 27 doesn’t seem like a coincidence. There’s a vid of Taylor being presented with the BMI Country songwriter of the year award and thanking Jeff Lang, whom she’d always played her songs for first - and whose funeral she’d just sung at that week.
And I totally get not being able to listen to Ronan often - a beautiful but devastating song. Worth note that Taylor and Ronan’s mom Maya have remained friends to this day.
Ed and Taylor have a fourth collaboration called The Joker and The Queen from Ed's album (=), I loved it from the first listen and ran to the piano to learn it
“Forever Winter” is a very sad song indeed. Taylor has never said anything about it, but it is widely believed to be about her close friend who sadly passed away just after she released Red. There is still a video of Taylor accepting an award for her previous work days after releasing Red and her friend’s funeral, and she dedicated the award to him.
I find it very sad that she wrote “forever winter if you go”, only to lose him. Depression and abuse are terrible things.
Between that, her rumination on fame, Ronan, and the whole break up thing, Red is not exactly a walk in the park.
It's also theorized it might be about her little brother Austin who was really struggling with mental illness at the period she was writing Red.
This is why i love watching multiple reactions cuz everyone sees something different,, like this album has been out for ages and i never noticed the 27 connection or how the songs string together a story,, and here I am calling myself a Swiftie,, disappointing smh
State of Grace Acoustic is by far one of my FAVOURITE acoustic tracks because the original is such a loud, brash, rock anthem...stripped back it's just GORGEOUS 🥰 gentle, delicate, beautiful gem of a track 🥰🥰🥰
SO GLAD FOR 'THE VERY FIRST NIGHT' LOVE! It *should* be a bigger hit.
If you like petty Taylor, you really need to treat yourself and watch the music video for I Bet You Think About Me. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the song, lol. Also, I'm with you on Nothing New. It wrecks me every time. Love that one. And also (sorry for writing a novel!), I think having the backstory of the boyfriend missing her 21st birthday and it being such a terrible night, makes the song 22 even better. She'd processed the pain, moved on and was ready to just be young and free and have some fun.
i love how you always thank the artists at the end
Can’t wait for Speak Now. I think you’ll love it
The Very First Night was actually a very GREAT ending track, it has elements of 1989, which was the next album
I wish she actually ended the TV with it
There are like thirty Taylor songs for every emotion a human can experience- and you experienced all of the emotions in this video. Loved it.
Red has the best vault tracks so far.
speak now i would say
At general level, 1989 TV is really good. As a song, Nothing New is a total masterpiece that deserves everything just for itself alone.
There are 26 songs in Speak Now (Taylor's Version), they are all written by Taylor her own, no co-writters, hope you love that album ❤
not me crying to ronan with you 😭😭
i feel like message in a bottle would be in a barbie movie but i love it
It’s the perfect bridge between red and 1989 - as a pop girlie I love it
Few days before my 23th bday this year i was just cleaning around my house with music in my earbuds when nothing new came up and i burst in tears at "how can a person know everything at 18 but nothing at 22" 😋👍🏼 and then spotify played "this is me trying" right after to help w my mental breakdown lmao
Reputation is a grower, for sure. At least it was for me. I wasn’t in a good head space for Rep when it came out but years later I really needed it and now it’s one of my faves!!
come back…be here>>>>
best song on the album
Babe was another song she wrote and gave to a country band, but she did feature on it. So happy she recorded her own versions!
The video is FANTASTIC.
Actually, the song she gave to the indie band is 'better man' & she gave 'babe' to Sugarland.
Ed has talked about the collaborative style in interviews, he says she is his favourite writing partner and they have so many unpublished songs.
the instrumental from the Girl At Home chorus is supposed to feel like it’s on a tape, like a retro vibe.

Speak Now stan ✋✋✋ so excited 😊😊😊
You have a very beautiful hair, it looks so healthyy
Speak Now is my favorite álbum 😭😭😭 im so excited for your reaction ❤️
Im glad someone likes run because most swifts hate/dislike it 😭 its such a cute song tho
I LOVE run!!! The harmonies are heavenly 💓💓💓💓
I love it 😂
My t(w)een daughter loved Run when she first heard Red. It's the harmonies.
31:24 the fact that Taylor was around 27 during her rep era and that she was truly heartbroken and depressed makes the 27s club theory even worse
I'm very happy Taylor was able to fight off and survive and she's still here with us, better than ever
Reputation fucking with your head and creeping up your rankings against your will is such a vibe
I can’t wait for speak now😭😭😭😭😭
my 16th and my 21st birthdays were literally forgotten by my family and friends.. like i didn’t exist lol. for my 21st birthday i literally called my family to see if they wanted to go to dinner w me and they all said they had plans.. i went to dinner by myself and my family walked in and sat down in another part of the restaurant and had a family dinner..
Oh my god- that would fuck me up forever 😭😭it's hard to heal from something like that but I hope you do, wishing you nothing but happiness
I love how you are starting all these videos with cowboy like me in the background
Yes! I'm so glad someone else heard that!
You can't, not cry on Ronin Lauryn. Love your reactions
Cowboy like me at the end😏
Loving your reactions.
About the songs: State of Grace acoustic is my favorite of the two bc Taylors voice is amazing.
Ronan breaks everybody. I cried listening the song on your reaction. When you feel ready, watch the only time Taylor sang Ronan live, she was holding back tears the whole time and left the stage crying. The empathy that Taylor has to put herself in the place of the mother only by reading Ronan's mom blog, just blows my mind. The earning from Ronan go to his mom and also goes to a charity that helps kids with cancer.
The vault songs are just amazing, the collabs, everything.
Thank you for having an open mind to listen to her and if you like the "old Taylor" you will LOVE Speak Now
dinner with react
Its so funny hearing you say you love the tracklist bc when it came out people called it messy and don' t get me wrong red is about all emotions that come with a breakup, growing up and fall in love (the very first night is rumored to be about harry). but it's perfection
based on your thoughts on Better Man I don't know if you realized it was a vault track or even if you know anything about vault tracks on her re-recorded albums. basically, its songs that didn't make the final cut on the standard or deluxe editions of the albums. She added these as a little bonus for the re-recorded albums and added features for that as well.
Queen of reactions
I’m so glad you loved Red. It’s such a great album. It’s so hard to pick a favorite album. Bc some days are Rep vibes. Some are Red vibes. There’s an album for whatever vibe. Another reason to love the discography ❤ great reaction
I did not expect to cry to Ronan while having breakfast lol but thank you for this video! ❤
I am so happy that Reputation is growing on you!!!
Obsessed with these reaction videos!!!! Please never stop!
Love your Taylor reactions!!
Cant wait for speak now!!
I love your reactions and commentary, great job 😊
GIRL WE NEED MIDNIGHTS
I enjoy your reactions so much and appreciate the fact that you get the back stories to the songs and understand them so well. The path to becoming a Swiftie is paved with her lyrics, the way we relate emotionally, the way we heal from the gaslighting, the way she puts into words what we never could understand. It's therapy!
I would love for you to react to her live tours as well. They're even better!!!
I’M BEYOND EXCITED FOR YOUR SPEAK NOW REACTION OMG
I’m excited Speak Now is my fave album from Taylor! I know you will love the songs in there!
Loving your Taylor reactions
Thank you for your reaction. Red is in my top 5 Taylor albums. And girl you are absurdly beautiful omg
❤🇧🇷
Legit can't wait for the Speak Now reaction. You're gonna love it.
Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts! I think we all feel the same about Ronan. Amazing song, but man, it hits hard.
1989 and Red had THE best vault tracks in my opinion
Glad to hear Reputation is creeping up on you. Great reaction. My Speak Now favorites are Long Live, Enchanted, and Haunted.
I would love more Taylor swift reactions, also Lana de ray!
After the speak now album if you want to keep listening to her country albums I would suggest fearless taylor's version!!
Great video!!! I really enjoyed your reaction and I’ve enjoyed seeing you develop into a full Swiftie. So fun
Love your reaction to this and your appreciation of her lyrics and melodies! I really
Think you’re going to enjoy speak now, looking forward to watching that! ❤
I would say, personally for me, Fearless, Red, Rep, 1989 and folklore are THE quintessential Taylor Swift Albums. But Speak Now is my favourite album by her, followed by Red and 1989 in second and third place respectively. I love the vault tracks from Red and 1989 the most, by far though.
weekend rest with your reacts (from the Philippines🇵🇭) loved that u loved the very first night ur right abt it being classic taylor song and should’ve been a bigger hit love ur reactions so much can’t wait for ur speak now reaction it’s my fav country album of hers and it’s her most loved album here in my country
can't wait for speak now!!
Ronan is the most devastating song. It absolutely destroys me. I’m a mom with a kindergartener and it just leaves me bawling. I only listen to it when I need to have a good cry.
“Forever Winter” is my favorite song of all time, though, and that also makes me cry… it just makes me feel like she’s giving me a warm hug when I’m goin through it.
The amazing thing about Red is that it was actually a grower for me. The more times I listen to it, the more I love it. I mean, I liked it well enough, but the repeats made it easier to find all the connections between songs. I wish she’d never started prioritizing sonic cohesion. 😭
If you want to watch the Speak Now concert for that era, it’s on RUclips. And the live versions of that are sooo good. Especially “Dear John”. You think you hate Jake? Oh, goodness, you just wait for John. (Have you heard Midnights yet? If not, pairing “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” with “Dear John” could be interesting. Or it could be something to look forward to later. But the live version is just sooo much better…
My album rankings are
1. Folklore
2. Red
3. The anthology( counted it as a 2nd album because it sounds completely different)
4. Fearless
5. Evermore
6.Lover
7. TTPD
8.Rep
9.1989
10. Debut
11. Speak now
12. Midnights
Honestly I don’t hate any of her albums even if I ranked them lower I have favorites from each album and I feel so bad not having them all above #5 but I know a lot of people will disagree/ have different rankings which is perfectly normal but like with fearless for instance I just love the nostalgia, and vault tracks, etc . Loved the reaction 🫶🏼🩷
To continue the Red era, listen to the Taylor's Version of the Hunger Games tracks (Eyes Open, Safe and Sound). They were recorded around that era. And Speak Now is a banger album. Lots of pop rock in it.
I love her for putting songs like Ronan and Forever Winter out, those are so personal and serious and not about romance or breakups. I think the Red Fault in general is so freaking good. Usually, Red is quite low on my album ranking for Taylor, but the Vault is unbeaten so far, I think.
The very first night is so good, I love it so much!❤
You sound so good and looks good, too, you should be an artist!
Thank you! 💚
Love it ❤
Yesssss 30:01 run getting the flowers it deserves!!!!! It’s one of my favorites from the album and it’s so under appreciated to me
God I love your vibe. New subscriber ❤
Red, IMO has the best, when I say the best, literally the best vault tracks ever
do speak now next!! my fav album
Little Big Town sang Better Man and Sugarland sang Babe, but since Taylor wanted to keep the rights to those songs so she put them on as vault tracks.
omg you have to listen to speak now (tv)😭😭😭✋✋it’s one of my favoritesssss
breakfast with ur react🤩(from Indonesia)
what is up!! enjoy your day :)
Omg the beginning of Babe always reminded me of that 3LW song too! "I'm gettin sick and tired of your broken promises promises" No More lol
You have to watch the I Bet You Think About Me music video if you haven't, it's ICONIC
Wow the amount of times I’ve listened to this album and I never thought of grief as a main theme of this album and about the number 27.
FINALLY SOMEONE BROUGHT UP KIELY DURING BABE’S INTRO
i love this chanel 🫶🏻
Red is my third favorite Taylor Swift album❤
You should do the I’ll Bet You Think About Me video. It’s so good!!
The moment I knew, come back be here and girl at home + state of grace acoustic were on the album in 2012 but they were deluxe songs! The closer was better man of the standard album! Ronan was a single around the 2012 red era so she decided to add it to red tv and Babe was a song written by Taylor in 2012 but released in 2018 as a single with Taylor featuring, the rest of the from the vault songs are songs written back then that we didn’t hear until the red tv release, and I believe the 2012 demo for better man leaked so you can check that out!
yessss speak now next!!!!!
Now I’m curious what kind of mind games “Reputation” is playing on you. It’s one of my favs, but I also really liked your commentary on it!
The girl at home production got completely changed from the original. Because everyone called the song boring in 2012 but she just made it worse lmao 💀
