Just a tip that got passed onto me is spray furniture polish ( thinking of inside wheel so sand won't stick and unbalance wheel) I got this tip for under mower deck so grass doesn't stick and works amazing so thought might help you in this situation . Worth a shot at least 🤷♂️
I just recieved my Max10 g2 its alot nicer than the first gen version i have! Hobbywing makes a good product plus i like the sound the esc makes when you brake.
Where the inner fenders contact anywhere on the main chassis, add some foam, OR servo tape. That WILL keep the track from getting INto the main chassis.
I love this combo on my ARRMA Big Rock but it takes getting used to. Not sure if it would be ideal for guys trying to race but I really needed it for more slow moving torque. Love the no cogging. It doesn't even seem like I sacrificed any speed with the 2400kv either. Setting turbo timing up some might be crazy.
That combo looks smooth as man, thats awesome. I'll have to see of they're gonna bring out a 3300kv, i'd like to fit one to one of my bashers. Nice run dude 👌
Man that looks like fun! Great video ! I ordered this setup because of this video, Thanks ! I'm going to put it in a Traxxas Ford Fiesta ST Rally. Question, What pinion and spur did you go with? I ordered a Robinson Racing .08 22T pinion and a Traxxas .08 50T spur, hope it works!
Wow, I might have to consider the new Hobbywing G2 systems for my bashers i have considered Castle copperhead 10's and Mamba X's for my slashes, my Hoss and my future Rlaarlo AK917. But now i might consider the new hobbywing G2's, thanks for the great video.
Hey man love your videos!! I have a Senton that I run on 4s and this thing is a beast!! The Gen Ace Pro Bashing are a pretty good option battery wise on those. Try some Proline badlands SC or if you want some pretty mean paddle tires, the Proline Dumont are perfect amazing.
How do you think that setup would do on a plastic chassis Ryft? I see your Adiktiv chassis for the scx6 is on the sidelines.....the guys say the esc doesn't do the crawler reverse and it's hard to get off your lid. Is that just a esc issue? No instant reverse?😊
So smooth! Also can U put the sand guard in between but in front of the fender wells? In the video it appeared there was space and would block more if you can scribe the contours. I think I'm gonna use Gorilla tape on both sides (inner/outer)
best tires to get 17mm hexs and swap your typhon badlands on it . also proline sct shocks front PRO606300 rear PRO606301 . personally id put this body on it ! Pro-line Racing 1/10 1978 Chevy C-10 Race Truck Clear Body: Short Course, PRO351000 . or you could get crazy with a narrow creep body !!
I'm thinking to order one for my ryft. Can't wait to see more of testing this g2 max10 on different cars. How do you think, will it do ok for the ryft?
What a pointless rule. Watts is the determining factor of power and speed available, not cell count. You can change gearing and motor KV to get any amount of speed/power from any cell count.
Hot racing make full metal spiral cut diffs. Did them in my Denton with the aluminum hot racing yoke and it took 4s all day long, cost bout 50 bucks a diff. By the time you rebuild the stock ones 3 or 4 times you have the same amount of money.
@@SMRc95 i did the hot racing before the new 4s came out, i wouldn't know now lol. Ive sold my senton and got a 6s typhon and converted to run 8s, stupid crazy buggy
imo, your 1st jumps transition is a little sharp, launching the rear up at the end of its rebound stroke as it comes off the ramp, kicking the ass end up. I think as you noted, a bit better shock oil setup, batter and balanced wheels as you could hear them out of balance, maybe coming unglued in a spot or two on one. And then make that approach on the 1st ramp a bit longer so its a bit more smooth should make all the difference. Could hear the chassis slapping the ramp face as you transitioned to it.

With this esc work on a Trx4?
Still at work in Washington state good thing I only have to wotch the front gate tonight

This is the system I would’ve like to see in your Ryft.

I'm getting the 3300kv setup for a 2s build I'm gonna get.

Great video, I was wondering of I'd be able to pair a spektrum esc with a hobbywing motor as long as the pole measurements are correct
4 pole is the standard you should not have a issue
Need out door light for the track one day would be cool. Expensive but would be cool for some night racing

Nice driveing drives very smooth.
Looking forward to the Ryft build for racing

Just watched your video it's brilliant video mate keep it up bro 👍👏👌
Ye man this system looks damn sweet. As others said, seems on paper like perfect ryft fit and that’s where I though I’d put mine. Could you try that?
I'm thinking to order one for my ryft. Can't wait to see more of testing this g2 max10 on different cars. How do you think, will it do ok for the ryft?
Have you ran this system on 2s? My local indoor clay track you have to run 2s so I'd be curious to hear your thoughts if you have.
On 2S I’d go with a higher Kv motor.

@@ExocagedRCwhat KV motor do you recommend coming from 550 brushed motor
How 2 set cut off voltage low on these
Thats funny I've just installed a similar spec, although I went the surpass hobby route. Moves pretty good on 3s!
Surpass 1400W 3665 3500KV works great in the Arrma plastic chassis cars...
Is these motor all got 5mm shaft please
Joe could i use 30,000 weight grease with 1 million weight oil in the front differental with a center spool . On the dbxle 2.0.
Would this motor fit into an Axial Wraith???? Because HELL YEAH!!
Is this combo suitable for a rock crawler? Looks super smooth.
Mine doesnt power up the receiver everytime it gets water on.. is this normal?
Omg!! Comes on quick..
You think it would be good for trx4?
More balls with lower KV's
What was your gearing?
Stock I think.
where is this track?
What kind of gearing do you have in their ??
Was that on the stock gearing?
MAN..😲 🤔BET this combo would be a BLAST in my trx4💪🤣✌️💨💨
I for one can tell you that the 3300kv r2 axe system kicks ass in my trx4
@@DoubleADay I've got the 2100kv combo.. more torque.. I run 20t/39t gearing✌️🤣
What happens if you brake more than once? Does the car then reverse immediately? Or does it only reverse when the car is stationary?
depends on the esc, some will give you reverse even if it hasn't stopped, some will not until the motor has stopped rotating
@@ExocagedRC
how does the MAX10 G2 do it. That's what this video is about.
Very nice
This is on sale for $173 right now. Just fyi :)
👍😁
What heatsink /fan is that ???
Stock arrma 3s heatsink and fan
Cool 👍🏻
Did you say if this was 3 or 4s?
It can run 2-4s
He is running 3s
How are your diffs surviving? Lol. That's why my 3s bigcrock sits in a box and went to maxx. Grew tired of rebuilding the plastics.

Slow as hell gear it up you keep doing this when u put low kv motors in common sense says gear up 3 teeth at least thhen will be a beast
