Hey, Will. My name is Ed. I met you when you had your flight school at Montgomery field in San Diego some years ago. You inspired me to dream of one day finishing my private pilot certificate in a Cirrus. I am now in the beautiful Colorado Springs area north of the Air Force Academy and am buying my own SR22t G6 or G7 this year and finishing that certificate. Great to see you back out there my friend. @ed8476 I’m embarrassed to say but I just feel hopeless that my tech career will never afford a new cirrus and I’m already mid 30s. I’m graduating college next month for data science and think I’ll be lucky to find work making 150k/year, its not easy to envision a future I can buy a $1mil plane without getting lucky someone takes me under their wing to guide me onto a business ownership/career path that such a purchase would be attainable
@@speedracer9132 Hey mate! Don't pout yourself down. an idea can come up in an instant and turn into millions overnight. Remember, Comparison is the thief of joy. I know it doesn't mean much but a lot of multimillionaires achieved their wealth in their late 30's early 40's or even into the 50s. Live healthy, live happy and inspire those ideas to come to you.

I really enjoyed this video because you articulated your flight changes or adjustments or whatever you call it. I would like someone to explain what you communicate to air Control. It seems like nonsense but I know there is reasoning behind it. It would also be interesting to hear you explain what you do for a flight plan and what information you use from the displays.
Great ideas and this will be discussed in future videos. I’m taking your idea and making something with it!! Appreciate your ideas! I just put a video out that explains my general thought during a local flight around San Diego!

Sorry for my ignorance, does the auto pilot land itself? Does it pull out the landing gear itself or you do and it still lands itself? Very cool jet .
Great questions! Pilot does all that work during normal circumstances. Unique to this jet is Autoland! In a emergency if something happens to the pilot the passengers can hit a button in the cabin and the airplane will take control, find the closest / safest airport and take it in for landing!

Not yet. If we get a PDC through Foreflight we can airdrop it from
The tablet into the avionics. This saves a ton of time preparing for the flight.
