My dad doesn’t let me go to pride parades bc he says they’re “too intense” and there’s “creeps” there 💀 I’m like (??) there’s the same amount of creeps in a pride parade as there is in my walk home from work.
i mean unless your walk is very crowded then there's probably more creeps, simply cuz there's more people.
And most daytime prides are family friendly!! Even then when I went to the 18+ after show I never felt unsafe
As an lgbtq, what the heck is a pride concert? We don’t need a whole concert for a sexuality like come on where are the straight concerts???
@@jackanimates2066 pride is not about being gay, it’s about being proud of having survived all the struggles that the LGBTQ+ community suffers, which are problems that specifically queer people go through just for being queer. Straight people don’t have a pride flag/pride celebration because no one has been put through trouble and danger because of being straight.

to be able to go to a pride parade is my dream. i live in a country where being lgbtq is equal being criminal.

when I first came out I’d laugh at the thought of a pride parade in my town, it’s so small and conservative
but this year I’m vending at my local pride! I’m so excited and so happy that my town is getting more accepting

i went to my first pride parade last year with a friend and their parents and it was amazing . i have parents who are extremely homophobic and transphobic so being able to go somewhere with people of all ages just celebrating getting to be themselves made me cry so hard . pride is such a wonderful thing and i hope everyone is able to experience going to a pride parade at least once 🖤

i just moved and i attended my first pride parade in my new city with my girlfriend. we had so much fun. we’re both from the same small town, and our old pride marches had maybe 20 people, lol. i do miss our old group, but we’re still in contact and i believe my girlfriend is not-so-sneakily planning a vista down there this month. i really love attending these parades, it’s good to be in an environment where everyone is celebrated.

I'm a very big introvert, neurodivergent with hyper-sensivity to noises who also happen to have social anxiety, so pride (big celebrations with tons of people in general) definitely isn't my thing :') the only time I went I felt very uncomfortable although I had my place here as a queer person (and on bonus I got my phone stolen 💀💀). I wish y'all to have to time of your life when you go to pride though! And if you can't don't worry there's always a next time! 🫶 Happy pride month 🏳️🌈

Because i had an old friend of mine who was a lesbian (i honestly dont care about sexuality it doesnt faze me and i see past it because it doesnt make me think differently of ppl) and she would always call me a straggot and say i was homophobic bc all straight ppl r homophobes and narcissists wich rlly threw me off because i dont think thats true at all and that we didnt deserve to go to pride parades bc straight people have it easier and dont deserve to celebrate for being normal, and i think that a pride parade would be so fun to go to just to celebrate with people

I went to a huge parade last year as a straight girl and let me tell you it was LIT. Literally just people being themselves, so awesome and so fun like literally everyone is included in some way, even allies ❤️ happy pride guys

I really want to go to a pride parade, but my family is homophobic. Also, I live in the south, so basically everyone is homophobic. The library in my area got in trouble a few years ago for having a pride display, and they lost a lot of funding.
I can’t go since I haven’t came out to my parents yet😭

I can't go to pride. Most events in my state are being threatened with violence. Most events don't have much of a turn out. Plus big festivals like pride are almost never accessible.
