DAMMIT. I MISS THE RED WAR. Maybe I'm crazy but Red War holds a special place in my heart. I remember going from D1 to D2 an just being in awe from start to finish. But now I don't wanna go back with them having sunset everything from the Red War to Forsaken and with no promise that they won't get rid of anything else.
you arent drazy its not as good as any of the DLC campagins IMO, but it was F2P, our current F2P content is 2 raids a dungeon strikes gambit crucible (most nightfalls and grandmasters excluded) and a tutorial with less effort put into it than the average roblox game

Ghost is so funny and I do love the level of sass that Nolan North brings to the role. He’s grown so much into the role since he stepped in for Peter Dinklage.

Although curse of osiris was one of the worst campaigns of the ones that are currently vaulted, I really want it back just to see the infinite Forrest again. Mercury had the most potential out of any destination in the two games, and it was horribly wasted.
I started Destiny 2 like a couple months ago, if it wasnt for my friend's who got me to play id drop it like a 10 ton plate. They gotta bring back the old campaign's so new players can follow what the hell is going on without a youtube vid or brief timeline.
one of my favorite things about this game is that random Fallen Captain you accidentally save ends up being one of our greatest allies. there's something surreal about seeing Mithrax behaving the same way a normal Captain would, staring at you with weapons drawn and perceiving you as a threat, considering how casual he is with us now
I actually wondered about the gameplay for people who shot him on Titan instead of saving him... How does that pan out? I was familiar with the lore and absolutely knew not to shoot him (couldn't bring myself to even think about it after reading his interactions with his fireteam), but I really did wonder how they managed to write that out if he was murdered by the player earlier.

Its so cool watching this after Final Shape, and seeing how much ghost means to me, also 20:36 is so funny the way the guardian drops the smile right after ghost gives her a look.
The red war got so much shit back in the day and people still roast the shit out of it. And honestly? I dont understand why. I always thought it was a fun campaign to play through, especially if D2 was your first Destiny experience (Like it was for me)

He was rude and hostile to Fynch, and outright livid at Savathun (although I thought that was pretty satisfying)
Ghost really does mirror back at people and it's very satisfying because I tend to do the same thing. lol Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly, depending), Ghost is a very empathic individual. He's been mighty quiet since we've been dabbling in dark powers, which deeply concerns me, but he has his little quips in there to remind me he's still there. I'm genuinely not a fan of the new writing team and I don't like how Ghost has so few lines these days, but the fact that the Witness so easily takes control of him and all the themes of "we're close partners and will never be separated" alongside all the compromising situations Ghost has been in during this expansion has been... Disconcerting. I'm aware Witch Queen/Lightfall/Final Shape was supposed to be either one massive expansion or two large ones and the story beat has been drastically slowed with filler as a result, but if Bungie kills Ghost during all this... Look, losing Cayde was bad enough for tension breaks, and we have no idea what they're going to do with Zavala now, but if they kill the one last precious source of companionship we have left in the game, I'm leaving the community and taking what little money I have left with me.

i honestly miss adventures, doing them all to unlock the planetary exotic quest (if i remember that's how you got those quests), and the little scannable things on the patrol zones with little tidbits of lore, they should bring them back

Say what you will about the first 3 years of Destiny 2, but there is a level of polish and care that just hasn't been present in this "Destiny 2.5" era.

Na they said they're no longer vaulting expansions. Only seasonal content will be leaving after each expansion release
