The reason most fail is because they don’t have people skills + intelligence. You can say whatever you want about marketing, systems in place, etc. but there’s a reason why people like Mike are killing it. They are well spoken, smart, and take action. It’s hard starting out for sure, but for someone that is skilled & smart, it’s not. You can knock doors and make $1000 per day easily starting out with a 4gpm machine and some basic people skills. Everything Mike talks about is accurate, but by far the most important thing is being able to make people like you. I’ve done over $140,000 in sales @ 70% net margin in 11 months and it’s because I know people buy from people they like. Just be a good person, work hard, show up on time, and it will all come to the surface eventually and the universe will reward you.

I quoted a 3,900 sq ft two story Roof wash for a customer. Needless to say I didn’t get the job because Someone did it for $350.

how do I get customers around to schedule them around other customers and etc.... do i carry an iPad around with me? and what happens if the customer wants it done asap or finds me on the website? Do I have some sort of calendar that combine together when they schedule their house to be done?

@@AllAboutPressureWashing YUP! They say we Dutch🇳🇱 are ‘frugal’ even here🇧🇪in Belgium but some are the absolute worst over here in 10 fold.. some flip a cent/coin over 5-10x before spending it while the Belgians🇧🇪 are one of the biggest money savers of Europe.. can you believe it? Lol
Some rather live in sh*t than a nice environment their whole ‘miserable’ lives… sad stuff. Oh and you gotta have the Tax business number or they won’t reach out it seems, untrustworthy…

A lot of vids on RUclips showing guys doing well in pressure washing. Not saying it’s misleading but guys will see these vids and think “hey that looks easy” and jump in head first not realizing it takes work and time to build the business. Folks got to realize that just because you start a business customers aren’t going to be knocking your door down. You’ve got to be very motivated!!! It takes a lot to make any business successful and succeed.
