I’m definitely nabbing him so I can build my funky hat team with trailblazer and Aventurine. I’m with you Pretender, I’m a lot more excited for him than I am Firefly/Sam!

This man is hardly underrated from the community but in the future they will regret that they dont pull for him and i know what im talking about
Been waiting for a break effect character and the MC bouta make him godly
Going to pull both Boothill and Sam. Both will benefit from the same team setups which will drop the overall cost of the builds, and lack both fire and physical dpses
I lost my 50/50 on Acheron but, ever since begun getting Boothill more spotlight on him, I've grown to be actually glad I lost the 50/50. Been preparing for him for about a week now but, I wasnt fully sure I was leveling up artifacts with the right stats. Thanks for helping me confirm I was preparing properly.
i WAS saving for firefly and have a guaranteed limited banner char. But after seeing both FF and Boothil's kit, i might get him and just get FF on the rerun. Great guide thx!
i see hoyo hinting future DPSs can implant weakness or have colorless like acheron/xueyi.
I think the chest is basically always gonna be crit rate bc he gets sooooo much CD from his trace (Also based about Boothill > SAM, the animations alone would’ve sold me SAM looks so meh…)
nah the animations for Sam are not necisarily finished and his enhanced skill and ultimate are some of the best naiamtions.
Im rown between boothill and Sam too, but Sam will be better gameplay wise but Boothill will be great in Apocalptic Shadow.
@@bennogb5069 Yeah I think if you’re lacking DPS Firefly will definitely be better but I already have Acheron so I feel like Boothill will just be more fun
(Also easier to play since he’s not skill point hungry). And idk I just think Firefly animations were kinda boring compared to all the Penacony characters. Jade looks so much more interesting in terms of animations, the giant snake looks so sick
Firefly is mid as fuck and everyone simping over her is on their Drake energy.
@@levi3248 mmh the fact im literally negative on the new meta follow-up units besides Aventurine makes Jade very skippable since I dont plan on getting Robin.
Boothill and Firefly in terms of skill point conumption is not even that big of a difference since boothill has to trigger his skill on every new enemy he attacks.
And Firefly will also be exremely strong in single-target and is not as fociused on blast attacks as other destruction chraracters
@@bennogb5069 Yeah but he has 2 enhanced basic ATKs that will generate skill points, making him overall positive. You’re rarely gonna be changing targets, since he’s a hunt character. Unless you plan on bringing him to a place with a bunch of small enemies like pure fiction…in which case…why?
That’s like saying Topaz isnt skill point positive, bc she also skills to switch targets. And Topaz definitely is skill point positive.
Also SAM is EXTREMELY fast in the enhanced state, and literally 100% forwards themselves. It means they can’t rely much on skill point generators, and it’s gonna require careful skill point usage (a lot like seele actually, so Sparkle will help a lot otherwise it takes a lot of skill and speed management)
Is there any other sustain i can use except Gallagher for Boothill team? i pulled for Acheron but didn't get a single Gallagher :(
Fu Xuan, Aventurine both work fine
Any healer like Huohuo or Luocha is also fine, Gallagher is for his most optimal team but it's not like you NEED Gallagher or anything for him, he's still turbo good without him
I do not care about getting the best I can for any character at all since I'm a casual player but I'm so starved for Boothill content that I'm watching every video with his name on it
either way this is useful maybe Boothill will be the only built character I have in my team 😅

If your able to get around 260 break effect on him, then I don't think that the lc is necessary. It does help him a lot with his damge though.
is sleep like the dead lightcone good for him? i do have the 2 other 4 star alternatives , however im sort of considering getting his signature lightcone, just not sure yet
Sleep Like the Dead is a weak choice in general, the effect itself isn't that good at all.
Boothill is going to be critting a lot too so, it's not like you can cope your way with the 2nd half much either

HELP! who would u pull for between robin and boothill? i have ruan mei and i’m considering firefly/sam but i like fua.(i have ratio, aventurine and topaz) but i saw that if u have ruan mei u don’t need robin because they are similar.
i have 74 pity and i’m guaranteed so i can pick one and have enough for the next patch BUT idk
It's not like you really need Robin for FuA, while yes she's really good but, if you have Ruan Mei for your Firefly/Boothill, and another Harmony support built, even less reason
#1 if you need a 2nd sustain, save for Fu Xuan/Huohuo instead
If you need DPS, Boothill/Firefly
And then if you need another Harmony support, THEN consider Robin

@@michaelmoschetta1694 if you need a dps i think boothill will help you more atm. firefly is better than boothill at e2 and if we count aoe dmg. but bc you have ruanmei and the MC boothill will benefit more from your existing team. So if you dont even consider going for e2 for firefly: boothill will be "better" (also people forget that A: boothill needs much less energy for the ult and B: boothill does crit and firfly does not so basically you can half fireflys scalings or double boothills...)

that LC in general is very weak, boothill is gonna crit pretty often anyway
It pretty bad on him. I recommend and lc that gives speed. I have been trying to get I60 speed on him!
Oh man, I'm still confused on which body piece I should save for him. Would a crit rate one still be optimal or would atk be better on him?
Crit rate, you still want Boothill to crit, his trace only gives up to 30%, so having the full value would give you a total of 35% base crit rate.
Unless you have a lot of crit rate rolls, for the most part, you'll want crit rate body
