After driving my 2024 Model Y SUV, I would ONLY buy another Corvette if it WAS an EV. I had a 427 1969 Stingray. Even this Model Y would leave it behind at a traffic light. What I would like to see is a realistically priced CorVEtte that can keep up with or pass a Model S Plaid off the line, and built to drive like a Corvette with the magnetic shocks, NOT an SUV styled to sorta look like a Vette. I think Bowling Green could pull it off if given the green light; maybe they could beat the Tesla Roadster to market and avoid being dead on arrival.

It gives you direct access to Federal money to borrow directly instead of having to go through another bank. So it is far cheaper to source your conduit funds. The downside is you now have to abide by all the banking regulations on top of maybe already being a finance company unless you keep these two divisions deperate which is usually the smarter move. Open your own bank. Lend from yoru bank to your finance arm. But keep them seperate to keep the regulation and oversight simpler.
If you can believe the reviews, the Huawei system is currently one of the best on the market. And it is available on multiple brands and cars, which means it can be integrated into any car running an android based infotainment system. This would be an interesting supplier product for most OEMs.

I agree. Several months ago CR reviewed car dealers and gave them scores from 0 to 100. I remember Kia dealers were dead last (score of 48). Shortly after publication, CR deleted the scores, probably from pressure from the dealers. Having worked with a Kia dealer, I can confirm that 48 was a generously high score.

Fully agree! Goverment regulations hold back so many great features. Toyota is a good company, but seems to be about 5 years behind the times at least here in he USA. I've owned quite a few Toyota/Lexus vehicles over the years, but moved on to newer brands with better safety and technology.

I take it that Fisker Charger won’t fit a Tesla or any NACS equipped vehicle. Plus there won’t be any warranty if it goes bad early on. I’ll pass…
It'll work with a Tesla using the J1772 adapter included with every new Tesla. It has a 3-year warranty from Wallbox.
I use the same charger with Model 3 everyday. It's nice because you can hardwire or use dryer outlet. It's not made by Fiskar, made by wallbox.

Fully agree! Goverment regulations hold back so many great features. Toyota is a good company, but seems to be about 5 years behind the times at least here in he USA. I've owned quite a few Toyota/Lexus vehicles over the years, but moved on to newer brands with better safety and technology.

If you always say that then youre pretty often wrong. Especially when a technology adoption curve requires infrastructure to be built. But I guess the government shouldn't have spent all that money paving roads, you were just fine on your horse. Highways? Why would we want the government deciding on a tech for us! Lets get rid of them. Every single form of transportation infrastructure is based on government decision making and investment and always has been.
