This Hidden Trick is INSANE!

There’s a neat hidden mechanic that I’ve found in Mario kart 8 deluxe, and it’s completely changed how I play the game
Ever since Mario kart wii, you’ve been able to do tricks off ramps, and it’s been a real game changer.
In mario kart 8 deluxe, you can actually control the type of trick you do! You can choose between backflips, front flips, rolls and spins!
To do this, you simply need to point the stick in the direction of the trick that you do.
I figured this out very recently and it’s changed the way I do jumps ever since, try it out yourself!

Wii actually has this same mecanic.but you instead have to flick the Wiimote in the direction you want to trick. Also the dpad is how you trick when playing on a classic or GameCube controller. Also the info of influencing your trick direction has bosted the mkwii competitive scene.
