I think the stage looks great! I like the waterfalls added at the end. The only thing I might adjust is the Icicles in the beginning (they take a bit to fall so an “up arrow” might let the payee know to wait)), but even those are no big deal. I like the idea of beating the boss with more health gives you a better reward. Great job Fire!
@@mopbrothers Thanks Mop, I appreciate the feedback!! Yeah I kinda figured that the icicles parts are fairly slow (they become a bit more of a drag whenever you keep dying and getting sent back to the checkpoint), atleast if you play as Base-Megaman or Base-Roll. I might go back and add snow-blocks or just use a faster timer. Overall my favorite part is the skiing section! Fun fact, that was actually in one of my X mod levels, that may make a return 😏. Yeah I really like this system. I borrowed Lunar Chris’s idea but added on MM ZX’s weakness mechanic, to where if you rely on the boss’s weakness too much, then you get bumped down a ranking. For instance if you perform perfectly but relied on the weakness for 90% of the boss fight, then that’s not really S ranked worthy, so you’ll just get bumped down to a A rank. To keep things fair though, I’ll still allow A ranked players to have high rewards, and the S ranked ones just get a few extra bonuses, which adds up overtime. Can’t wait to see what you think of Brute Man stage, whenever I finish his up in a few days! I’m leaning towards going for more of a traditional-linear gym section, after the treadmill, rather than split paths
