That first Sky level has really taken structure! It actually feels like an organic area to explore. I like how you used Turbo Mans theme for the Jazz level lol. 🎊
Yeah, Roll's stage is my second favorite stage out of the 6. I really love the atmospheric sunset background in the powerplant setting, and I tried to make it feel more lively with the tile and background choices, gimmicks, and visuals. Actually, while replaying this stage to upload it on youtube, it made me recall to the last time I took a science class lol. I wish we had more live, sciency levels like this and your Physics Lab on Megaman Maker. One of my favorite things about Roll Next, was how big the levels were, which left a lot of room for exploration. I honestly think the point the game was that very idea, which is why there are not a whole lot of enemies, and the aesthetics are just full of eye candy. Ah yes, Turbo Man's theme. Turbo Man's theme is one of my top 10 songs of classic Megaman. Each time you listen to it, it makes you want to rock. His stage theme was perfect for a Dance Club based level, and I killed it with the tiles and shadow choices. I wish Megaman had more songs like Turbo Man, more happy songs like Roll's theme in Marvel vs Capcom 3 (I think that's where it's from).
@@Classic_Tomfoolery Thx!! Hopefully I can finish this level pack soon. I feel like RN was made for the decorations and visuals, rather than the action lol. It’s worth taking some ideas and adopting them in my own level design :)
@@YourGalToadette maybe, I’ll look into it. I haven’t really played the game, so I don’t know if well like I do with this game, but it would a fun mini project to work on. Projects like these can actually teach you some core level designing ideas as you are constraint with the base Megaman Maker engine, working on something that was not built for it, forcing you to get creative :)
