You know what it is most interesting about this? Is the fact if you switch Adam and Lilith's places it would be more accurate to the Jewish tradition.

I'm aware that this needed a male cover but Annapanstu's is my favorite and the others didn't fit Adam to me as much as this one did. His voice is high, he plays electric guitar and he's immature..this cover just gave more inspiration for me😚♥️

I can totally understand that; I’ve watched many covers for this song and none of the others fit Adam because they’re mostly bass or just too low. This version is really belted out like Adam would do.🥰

I just watched this for the upteenth time and I just noticed something. I love how after he gets the news that she has escaped, the gold of his wings and just anything else that was a lighter color becomes more of a flame orange color! He’s becoming consumed by the ‘ hell fire’ of his obsession. But maybe that’s just me.😊
I can actually see Adam singing Hellfire for real and he fits the role of Frollo since both are religious hypocrites.

But I do have a question what is going on from 1:43 to 1:46??? The only thing I can make out are hands and the snake in the middle!
It’s basically Lilith holding adam’s chest from behind as the snake slithers on his body to represent the constrictive grasp she has on his heart🤭 She was dragging/downing him in his desires, it was mostly inspired by the “Look my way” stolas music video. also fun fact: The chain scene was representing the dominance and control he wants to have over her, as he is confirmed a misogynist. Less of it being an equally romantic relationship like the one between her and Lucifer, and more of it being one sided.
