Lionfish is one amazing eating fish...so why not bring this dish to the east and Asianize it? What does that actually mean? Well since this is the first time we have heard of the term, we can just add some asian inspired ingredients and make it our own.
This includes, scallions and fresh ginger, sambal, sake, butter, soy sauce and some honey. All these ingredients added together in a scolding hot wok and you're in for a treat.
This is a dish that can be enjoyed in your own homes, with the fish you can find at your local supermarket so go ahead and be a kitchen star tonight, and let us know down below how your dish turned out.

About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:
Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on RUclips.
At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

Hiro is so cool! I absolutely hate cooking myself but watching a master at work is mesmerizing. He has made me appreciate sushi on a whole other level and even inspired me to cook better. I'm too poor to eat the things shown in these videos but I recognize art when I see it. I hope Hiro knows his level of influence - its well deserved. Eager to watch more!

Since Lionfish is an invasive species in the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico and fishign is encouraged, it's great to see different ways to cook it so that people are encouraged to eat it..hopefully we can see more recipes from you guys later :)

My mouth is watering. Corn starch is great for crispy crust. I also use corn meal on fish and it gives a great flavor and is crispy as well. Just corn meal. No egg or flour. See ya later! :-)

Cutting into the fish bevore frying is a very good idea. It cooks more evenly and is easier to eat with chopsticks.

I know I say this about all your dishes but this thing is a work of art. tender white meat topped with that sauce. the sauce... all those ingredients put together probably tastes amazing. especially the sambal and scallions. I'm a big fan of those two ingredients. also, spicy food in general is my kinda food. Good stuff.
