This is not only nice but also a very good bike. 26lbs is quite light for this kind of pure town bike. I can say from my 1-year experience with Sirrus X4.0 that FACT carbon forks and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes really make difference.
Just bought this bike - haven't ridden in five years due to my partner having an event that took us out of racing (had a Scott Solace then). Really looking forward to having new wheels to get around town!
It's a fantastic bike, even though I have many bikes I ride my 3.0 all the time. Glad you're back on the bike please keep us posted to how it goes for you.
A note: I’ve owned my since 2018. My rear rim has crack and drives the spoke into the tube, Specialized bikes discontinued making this rim. They are making me buy a new bike, I’ll never buy another Specialized Bike again.
Here it is 2022, already.. Just about convinced myself to buy this bike and salesman tries to change my mind… I live in New England and need ability to climb hills… will I miss the front chain rings?
@@TheBicycleRider I bought my Giant fastroad advanced 1 in September 2020 cause I anticipated a bike Shortage and a surge in price. I paid $2500. Today it's $3000. And right now they are all sold out. Surprisingly the $1000-$2000 bikes are easier to find.
I spent a whole year trying to find a 2.0 in a size small… this week I located a 3.0 and went to try it out…. I was so disappointed, found out that it runs small and it was way too small for me! I looked like a zombie on it!
So Sorry to hear that ,but at least you didn't spend any money on the wrong size bike , Hopefully you can find a Med to try out . The Crossroads Step Through is really a very nice bike in the correct size

I was surprised how light that bike is. Great video!

@@TheBicycleRider Won't a 220 lb guy riding a 20 Lb bike have a harder time Climbing a hill versus a 160 lb guy on a 30lb bike?
Will there be a bike Shortage in 2023?
In my oppinion , YES ! Especially good quality bikes with acoustic group sets . Cheap bike will be plentiful but be very cautious of cheap bikes !

This model is not available in Europe :(
It's barely available here in the states. I had to wait about six months for mine last year.
Everyone wants this bike most even have waiting lists
You overpriced this on the video. It is $800 MSRP.
On manufacturer's website it is listed a $1050
@@lawpenner shameful! Don't buy at this price and they will come down in price.
I just paid a little over $1000 for one I bought this year.
