As someone who has found himself as the "lighting guy" with *0* experience, this resource is literally a God-send.
Already got a laundry list of things to implement to hopefully up the quality of our streams.

Our Church has been using Pro Church Light fixtures for about a year. These fixtures are excellent quality. They transformed the look of not only our livestream, but our worship space. Craig and Frank have worked closely with us to achieve our goals. They're the best! Trust me.

Love these guys! Great knowledge and insight and the heart behind their "why" is the key! Excellent stuff.

This is a great video. When upgrading my former church's platform lighting, there were three rules of thumb:
    1. Mount front wash lights 45 degrees up from the platform surface. Very important to prevent top-down shadows.
    2. Mount front wash lights 45 degrees off-centre, so there is a combined angle of 90 degrees. We had two wash on the left, and two wash on the right, with each group separated by about 20 feet (it was a small platform).
    3. Added two rear wash on each side of platform, pointed to different positions for full rear coverage.
This worked great for lighting coverage, but the targets for light temperature and white fixtures explained here is something we could have used back then (but they're still getting away with the original lights, and it's not too bad).
    Thanks again for this video!!

Hey just for reference, any chance you can comment what kind of cameras you used to film this? I'm trying to get an idea for how much of the quality of broadcast is camera vs lights.

Hi, do you provide consulting? How can I reach you for workshops or consulting?

I wanted to purchase some lights... I tried to find prices to order and such... couldn't find. The ONLY way I could get a price was to get a "catalog". The problem.... Getting that also signed me up for a "newsletter" I did not want to be on. I have been bombarded by random emails I do not want. Not impressed. Seriously, just out your prices clearly on your site with a way to purchase. I feel tricked and probably won't be buying.

Thanks for your comment @JamespMusic - at PCL the most important thing to us is for churches to purchase the correct fixtures for the job. We too often see churches go out and make poor purchasing decisions due to incorrect equipment choices. Our desire is to move into relationship first to hear first hand the frustrations you have with your setup, answer questions you may have and ensure your church is purchasing the correct equipment to solve problems at hand. That is the reason we don't offer a shopping cart - as our service is relationship first before purchase. We do have some things in the works to eliminate some friction for churches who want to simply purchase and not discuss anything. Stay tuned for that... Also , you can simply unsubscribe if you don't find the emails helpful or encouraging. We are all here to serve and we desire to help you accomplish your lighting goals at your church so you can share the greatest news ever in a excellent and distraction free worship environment.

@@prochurchlights 🧐 that may be your reason. But I may just want to buy the lights I already know I need. Seems like a clever way to get people on your email list, I would change this it gives a bad impression. If I want to be on a list then give an option to do so. Of course this is my opinion, I ended up buying lights from a local company instead.
