Hallelujah Chorus

The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah in a new arrangement with added percussion by Jamie Wind Whitmarsh. On June 22, 2019, the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and friends from the DePaul Community Chorus and Niles Metropolitan Chorus performed at Orchestra Hall in Chicago in a concert entitled "Ode To Joy." The last programmed piece was the Choral Finale from Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, but in view of the cheering audience, the orchestra and chorus(es) burst forth with an encore of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. Ode To Joy indeed.
