    👍....Beautiful keyboard setup. However, in all honesty, who (even an expert as yourself) would be able to distinguish the subtle differences of each stop in ech category...Romantic etc...?

      Good question. We've been asked by many to create this voices tour from this model, so we decided to go with it. And, on the contrary, the differences are more pronounced when wearing a set of good quality headphones and even when the Duo console is hooked up to an external speaker setup and voiced accordingly for the room it is situated in. This tour was to show how the voices of the Duo sounded like "out-of-the-box".
      On that note, we're looking forward to getting a Cantorum Duo Plus in our showroom one day, as Viscount Instruments has officially moved on from sampled sound organs for the more advanced and greater sounding Physis Plus tech, based from their award-winning Physis tech (which both Physis and Physis Plus use physical modelling instead of sampling). So be sure to stay tuned for whenever we get one.

    Thank you for the comprehensive demo. As I like to play and teach both classical plus theatre pipe organ, does this instrument have tremulants? If so are they user-settable for both speed and for depth?

      You're very welcome, John. We don't have this Cantorum Duo in our showroom anymore to confirm the specifics, though yes it does have tremolo/tremulant pistons as mentioned and shown in this quick summary short we made on it: ruclips.net/user/shortsswF4BeYiPMQ
      However, when it comes to the newly released Cantorum Duo Plus, from what I recall, the tremulants are customizable with the free Physis Plus Editor software. More info about that is here: ruclips.net/video/Jhk16BKIAyw/видео.html

    Could you do one for the Trio model? I’m thinking about buying one and I’d like to hear it played.

      Hi there Jonah.
      The Trio has already been discontinued not to long ago and the newly announced Trio Plus (powered by Physis Plus) is taking its place as we're expecting a shipment of them to North America later this Summer. We just so happen to have a Duo Plus in our showroom now, so stay tuned for upcoming Duo Plus videos from us. :)

    Thanks ....this was useful cause I am thinking to buy that organ....and it is good to get an idea of it before. Can one use the pedal stops without the actual set for the feet ?

    • @classicviscountorgans
      @classicviscountorgans  Год назад +2

      It is possible to play the pedal stops on the console when you activate the "A.P." (Automatic Pedal) piston (which is Viscount's naming of the bass coupler).
      And if you were thinking to get the Duo, I must inform you now that brand new Duos have been completely sold out and out of production since September 2023. This is to make way for the new Duo Plus (which uses Viscount's Physis Plus physical modelling tech). We'll be expecting them here in North America sometime in the first quarter/half of this year. We'll be sure to make updates to inform you guys when they are ready to order.

      @@johannessilver8653 From what I know, it seems that the three default pipe sets have to be set in the menu, at least for the Cantorum Duo Plus. I'm not exactly sure about the rest of the Physis Plus lines at the moment.
