I have used Forte coating and it far exceeds durability compared to three other coatings that I’ve used. The vehicle now going on 6 months and the hydrophobic property and durability has not been affected whatsoever. I agree with the fact that it’s extremely expensive but if it continues to give me the results that it has so far it’s worth the price in my opinion. I’ve used Gtectniq Crystal serum and EXO, car pro uk 3.0, and kamikaze ism. It’s much easier to use than any of those and seems to be more durable with incredible water contact angles. That’s my experience so far.
Really wanted to see the water beading and sheeting performance. I heard this coating is a bead monster...not just beads, but mobile beads, that slide right off even slightly angled horizontal surfaces like hoods and roofs. Wanted to see for myself...
Wow! Those paint readings are typically what you would see on an Asian vehicle. I can definitely see why you had to change In the way you approach paint correction.the industry is Cheapening out lol. Great video Brian.
A 10 digit increase in gloss eh... Well yes, now that you mention it, I *would* like my truck to be 10 billion times glossier! Anyway great video as always man, I drive a black F150 myself and it's nice to know that the paint is indeed able to come out really great if you have the right tools and expertise.
I like how these coatings are coming with longer working times for the weekend and driveway warriors like myself, I just fear they may be sacrificing quality for user friendliness. I remember when the ceramic coatings first started to catch my attention almost all of them called for uv lights and like a week with no water contact
Having only played around w coatings at home on my M3 and her Tesla. I always learn something from you. Love the work w the gloss meter. Can you show us a 100+ gloss?
Either that Raptor is new or it's a pavement princess. Most Raptors (or any off-road used vehicles) I've seen take a beating from the trails or being off-road. PPF is likely the only thing that will protect a vehicle's paint from the rock chips and scratches from branches that come with off-roading.
Another great video full of useful tips. I always feel a sense if pride when Brian executed a tip the same way I do. If only I was as smooth as Brian. Great curing time but how did they make the graphene clear in color.
hay brian,, avad detailer for 30 plus years,, i am in NE Ohio i would like to maybe check out your shop some time and bounce some ideas off of you.. may be in the spring time not sure how far you are away from Warren OH but i think it would be nice to check out your shop and your toys..
After you use this product on the plastic trim would there be any need for additional plastic coatings like the Cerakote or C4?? And does one bottle cover a whole vehicle? Looks great btw!!
Great job Brian but not a cheap coating. About the color not being black; 303 admitted that they use a black die to make their new graphene spray black just for MARKETING reasons because customers assume that graphene is/has to be black.
I know that this is an expensive product. Do you see people buying this for ease of application compared to other products? Beautiful day job by the way! Your work is amazing.
too bad for the price.. love the cure time...... but i will stick with optimum gloss coat and top it off with opti seal for a fraction of the cost! Thank You Brian for a Great Review as Always~!
Brian again buddy ...top notch video and detail !!! Got some questions, first how much did you use on that beast? Did you apply anything to the tonneau cover? And last one would you pick that coating over Artdeshine graphene? Thanks again
once again true master piece good friend. truck came out amazing. scary how thin clear coat is becoming.😭😭.what makes that coating so expensive?b well good friend 🍻🍻
Big, badass truck that's going to probably see horrible conditions and offroad use, with such thin, crappy paint. Going to be a lot of work keeping it nice.
Great job Brian, I just ordered that Gloss Meter GM-6 myself to compare my gloss reading to some of what you have read... Any tips or settings I should setup with the GM-06?
Huh? Japanese paint Is probably twice as good as the paint on this Raptor.. JDM paint is pretty good stuff..That and the logistics would cost a small fortune..the cheap Chinese paint is what you wanna look out for.. I'm sure Ford is still using the same stuff as always.. they just cut it down to stretch it out a little to save a little money..
Good Bryan! 👍. It would be interesting to test a cheap graphene coating against an expensive one. Like the fantastic xml ceramic & Graphene Coating?!. Only 20euro on Amazon but I find it very resistant !. What do you think of some graphene coatings which are very light instead of dark ones like graphite?
@@apexdetail85 It is true ! They are so recent! 👍 👍 👍. Thanks Bryan Also, you use a "valet pro" foam brush for a moment to lay the coating on the grid. Do you throw it away after? where do you clean it for reuse later? And for a ceramic coating I always throw away the first wiping microfiber, and I keep the second and third (final wiping suede, which I clean with the apc). Should I throw out all 3 ?. because the first is obvious that it hardens. But the 2nd microfiber for the second wiping and the 3rd for the final wiping, it's much more complicated to realize! (ps = junior is ready for the next generation, he's really good! 👍 👍 👍)
Wow! That is very expensive coating! Ouch! When you did the final polish on the B pillar, what compound did you use? I seen the Koch Chemie F6 first pass with yellow pad. What was second pass/polish? Very nice video.
Wow, that's expensive an expensive coating. I have seen some people who polish out/off their ceramic coatings within a year or two just to reapply another one for the heck of it; and others who get water spotted coatings and they have to polish it out anyways. I feel like a 5, 7, or those "10" year coatings will never get to live their entire stated life unless they are always garaged. 2 to 3 year coatings for $70-100 seem to be plenty fine.
@C-Bomb other than looks, a ceramic coating is good when there's very little clear coat left; and when a car sits under a tree for extra protection against sap and bird droppings, at which point all that sap and droppings will quickly deteriorate even a "10yr" coating but it won't melt the clear coat
I don’t like ceramic coatings because you can’t apply anything else on top and I’m sure the glass is going to be gone in a couple months no matter what you do i’d rather prefer to apply a coat of wax monthly
@C-Bomb like what? Same stuff that they sell you? Like expensive soaps claiming that is especially for ceramic coats! If you put a layer of good wax in order to protect that shield of protection you can ruined it
No one does detailing better than Brian and few do it as well. #PursuePerfection🔥💯
I appreciate that!

Looks glossy AF ! 👍👍
Awesome job!
I know that this is an expensive product. Do you see people buying this for ease of application compared to other products? Beautiful day job by the way! Your work is amazing.
Probably for its short cure time.
Great work again Jedi Master! Question on the coating choice, did the customer request the brand or was it chosen for another reason?
Chosen for its graphene content.
Thank you for the information

3/4 of the bottle. Cover was coated. i would choose Artdeshine.

I also ordered a gm-06.
Just keep it charged and calibrate before each use.
Brian have you seen the Ethos Graphene coated Mustang since you did it? I'm curious about an update on it.
Will applying Turtle Wax graphene Max and Flex wax on top of Migliore hinder its performance?
2nd from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Shocked at how thin that paint is. Maybe it's made in Japan? Great results but that price is a killer.

Its so early for graphene coatings....there is no data to compare to....yet.

Nice

@@kimnewling5728 I think he only uses the Koch Chemie M3-02

Kock Chemie M3 02.
Great video! Did you use more than one bottle for this truck?
3/4 of the bottle.
Wow! Impressive! Thanks Brian 😊
what towels are those?
Bryan , to have beautiful results like you , is the machine or the technique?
All of the above.
Thank you Bryan
@@apexdetail85 have you ever used Americana pads and sonax final
No video of water behavior?
When we do maintenance on the vehicle in a few months.
Does it bead or sheet?
Not sure...Was planning on a follow up video when it comes back for maintenance.
how often should a car be washed also, does that high end truck have a better finish than a fiesta
It actually has a nice looking finish....just not much of it. Wash every week or two.
