- North Carolina and Clemson played in week 5 of the 2019 college football season. The Tar Heels and Tigers played a great game that came down to the final moments. This is a condensed form of the game, which turned out to be one of the best college football games of the year.

Since LSU wasnt playing today I decided to watch another group of Tigers play. Ended up being entertaining in the end. The Tarheels just came ready to play. Clemson came out flat but still won. It happens people. I'm sure they will rebound. That's the beauty of college football....

No need to go for 2:
1. They're at home and they had momentum (ride it).
2. They belonged in this game.. Put the pressure on Clemson to run plays that way your defense can make a play (TO, 3 and out, something)!
3. Even if 2pt play is converted, there was still 1:17 left in the game, that's a LONG time because the clock stops with every first down and a field goal beats you. There is no upside to going up by 1 pt.
I disagree, solely for the purpose that I think Clemson would have won that game in OT. They are much more talented, and I think that they’d score easily. However, it’s in the past.

I think so, and it didn’t make much sense. With a successful two point, it would have been 22-21 NC, but Clemson has about two minutes or so to play and could have gotten it to FG position. Tying the game would have been a safer move to put the game into OT. But I am not the coach.

After UNC trounced Viegina Tech I had to come back to this video. I thought Howell sounded familiar. I'm a Clemson fan. Not worried, but respect is due.
I think this should put Clemson out of the playoffs. Coming down to a two point attempt against a team outside the top 25. AS THE NO. 1. They will go unbeaten and get to the playoffs but if this team was in the big 10, SEC or Big 12 I can’t almost say for certain they wouldn’t be going to the playoffs. Also what a game from unc. Displays of great football and it was unfortunate they couldn’t pull out the w 👏🏻👏🏻

As of right now, Alabama has played nobody and Georgia has played one game. LSU plays like a big 12 team, with no defense. Vandy dropped 30+. If you don't watch football, Clemson always has a skip, every season. C'mon man, use your head before talking.

I have not seen Clemson look like the #1 team in any game this year. I have no doubt Clemson has the talent. I think they are seeing what i have seen at Bama many seasons... complacency. they won the title, lost a bunch of leaders from that team to the draft and now these kids think all they have to do is show up and they have already won. if Dabo don't get their heads right. someone is likely to beat that should not beat them
This game should be a wake-up call for Clemson. The Top 10 seeds should never have to rely on the opposing coach's stupidity to beat a 2-2 cupcake, much less the #1 team.
However, I think this will be more of a Michigan/Army scenario. Remember how Michigan was celebrating like they won the natty after beating a team with height and weight restrictions in 2/OT, only to get demolished by Winsconson the very next week? Yeah, Clemson's doing the same thing. I've already seen posts on social media about how they'll blow-out Ohio State or Oklahoma or whoever in the playoffs. The only person who seems even remotely concerned is Dabo Swinney. Clemson won't learn anything from this. They don't understand that the #1 team in the country has to earn their wins, and it shows. The only way this team will learn is when a real opponent comes in and thoroughly kicks their ass. It doesn't matter what Dabo does, the players seem like their in their own-little world where Clemson's already won the National Championship. Every week they get sloppier, and it'll eventually come-back to bite them in the ass. That may happen next week, or in the ACC Championship game, or maybe even in the playoffs. But it will happen, and (as a Buckeyes fan) it will be glorious to watch.
Samasaurus to me the 2 most complete teams this year so far is Ohio State and Oklahoma. there is still a lot of season left, but right now those two look the best

Im going to be honest here. If UNC had been ranked then Mack Brown would've gone for a kick and sent the game into overtime. But he decided to back off and not ruin Clemsons year, until the tragedy LSU fans call a victory.
But UNC starts off 2020 as number 18 and if they can take down Auburn, and I hope they do, then we'll for sure see them again in a top 10 showdown in Charlotte. Itll be fun to finally see a high stakes battle for the playoffs in the ACC. It honestly gets boring not having challenge until the post season. But sadly we cant predict years in advance which teams will be good or not

This is the best thing that could've possibly happened to this young Clemson squad. 100% UNC played well enough to win this game, no doubt. I would argue the playcall itself was stupid, not the decision to go for it (go wide against an athletic defense at the goal line??!) But you guys a full of it if you think we got "exposed" or we're "not as good" as we were last year. We're even more talented but not as EXPERIENCED.
