Nice race series, thank you for making it. One thing to note if you are running for a time goal - write down times on your arm for milestone Km’s or miles (10km, half, 20km, 30km etc) that you need to cross at for your goal time. You’ll find your GPS probably will be running ahead of what the mile markers actually have on course so could make you think you are on time/ahead if following your watch pace, when actually you could be behind (learnt the hard way). I’m starting in the white wave on Sunday so may miss you but best of luck and make sure you enjoy it above all else! You only get one first marathon 😊
Ah man I wish I was in the white wave! One day I’ll be there hopefully! My plan is to write my gel mile times on my arm so I can know roughly where I am! Thank you so much for reminding me about it though! Glad you like the series, I’m sure another one will be started again shortly 😇
I’m in the exact some position as you in terms of being in the green wave but optimistically wanting to run a faster time than 3:30. Best of luck on the day mate
Great vid, yeah deffo film the whole race if you can but if you feel it’s going to hold you back just focus on the race. Good luck for the race I hope everything goes to plan you will smash it 😎
@EDGEVISIONS_ how did it go on the day? I don't like to leave it to chance and would rather have a gel around 25 mins but everyone is different and 26 miles is a long way so if you are OK with gels then why wait to mile 5?

Ah maybe we can wiggle our way to the front of the pack together! Good luck for your race man, hope you get the time you’re after!
Best of luck!
Thank you! And thank you for the support through my entire series!
Thank you for sharing so much detail of your race plan! Definitely focus on your race and only run with the GoPro if it adds to your experience 🍀✨️
You’re more than welcome! I’ll get as much footage as I can but yeah race is main priority 😄
Good luck!!! I'm excited to see where this journey takes you.
Thank you so much! Means a lot to hear!
Ooo I’m excited to see what’s about to go down!

You might be able to sneak into the wave ahead of yours

Ah man I hope you're all good! It was an amazing atmosphere, sorry if we didn't get to chat!
Maybe don't wait to mile 5 for a gel
It’s what I’ve done throughout my training and it’s worked a treat! However I’d love to hear your insights on this?
