Nike Pegasus 41 | Full Review + First Impressions
Nike's most loved daily trainer just got a massive upgrade! The Nike Pegasus was one of the most loved daily trainers among runners of all levels for years. However, they started to fall behind as running shoe technology advanced rapidly. The newest iteration, the Pegasus 41, may have finally caught up to it's competitors like Asics and New balance, and might have even done enough to reclaim top spot!

The post marathon blues have well and truly gotten to me now, and not having a race booked in the calendar wasn't helping either. So I did what any sane runner would do and booked myself onto another race... but in which distance? I really want to see how far my body has come since training for a marathon and therefore I'm going to try set a new Pb in every single distance, starting with... wel...

Little did I know this session was going to consist of over 100 runners having a running track in the heart of London...

The Marathon Taper | MCR Ep. 14

The taper during marathon training is one of the most backwards processes I have ever put myself through... Running less volume, less miles, less everything, in the hopes of going faster? Huh? If it works for the professionals then hopefully it'll work for me! In today's video I take you through the final sessions of my marathon block and show you what my taper has looked like. This has been an...

I don't live in a lavish city like London, so street photography can sometimes be underwhelming... However, in today's video I took to the streets of Leicester with some new diffusion filters I recently picked up from K&F Concepts. I paired the filters with my Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II and my Sigma 16-28mm to get some super interesting shots. Filters like these bring a whole new layer of joy to...

What my Injury taught me about Marathon Training
Get two Adidas Pro 3's. One for marathon training and long run, one for your marathon race. With Pro 3 you can do all your tempo runs marathon pace training and long runs. Your invincible 3's for daily training are good enough. To complete your rotation you can also get a pair of faster daily trainer ie. Noosa Tri 16, Adidas SL2, Hoka Mach 6, NB Rebel V4
white dude with afro??? 🤔
250 Miles 400Km
This is a shoe that you pair with a Peg Turbo in which you do most of your training and once in a while you go full blast with the Vapors.
I've run in this shoe for about a year now and love them! The only drawback I feel is the weight which I think you fee more on hills and in fast races. I was an old school fan of the Nike Lunaracer back in the day, did you ever run in them?
Great video! So I got a 32 min PB for me to 4:11 in the London Marathon this year which I know is average but that was thanks to lots of strength and conditioning, sports massage etc as well as consistency with my training. I went to Runners Need in London and they were shocked I did everything including the race in a pair of Ghost 14's! (had no idea about 'shoe rotation before the marathon). I was going to treat myself after the marathon anyway so was advised to get some Gel Kayano 30's for my base runs, Speed 3's for Tempo runs and then some Endorphin Pro 4 shoes for race days. Just interested to know how much preparation you should do in your 'race shoes' before race day? As I've been told they have a shorter shelf life? Thanks
Surprisingly, I'm 450 km in and they're still doing really well. I'm very surprised by the durability, although the soles are starting to crack. Pretty sure I might be able to push another 50 or 75 km. Also, paid 135€ for them in discount.
make a video of him on your channel, I would like to see him after 450km.
Sounds like a good plan, hopefully the race worked out well for you, I was the 1:30 pacer so hopefully I helped in some way 😅😂
I am still undecided between these and the ASICS novablast 4, as they are around the same price in my country. Which one would you suggest for a beginner/internediate?
100% novablast 4 if you're looking to run it's not even close
Pegs are usually on sale at around 70$ few months after release. So it will still be a great bang for the buck buy :D
big help bro thank you very much!
No offence but your review is an exact copy of Ben Parkes' Review posted 8 days earlier...
Well where's your review then if you're so good?
Decent review, thanks. I'd be wary of wearing a 10mm stack shoe as a gym shoe. As I understand it, you generally want to be as close the ground with as little foam as possible when lifting, for stability and to prevent energy loss.
You’re welcome! I agree about the gym shoe being preferably a lower stack shoe! However compared to the other shoes I own this is best one I have so far (looking to get a better gym shoe soon) but thank you for the advice 😇
Best of luck tomorrow! I'm hoping for a sub 1hr40min race but if I can get a PB (under 1:44:21) that would be awesome too.
Have a great race on sunday 👌
You do like your Nikes … dont you 😂
I just wanted to say "you mean in your childhood" as a response to title of the video But seeing you are a new creatore didn't want to, but again I felt this joke will be wasted (according to me) so any way i kept with a big apology However I am subscribing you I thought about this during 1 AM so i couldn't sleep without clearing this off my chest Thank You ❤
Nice hoodie!
Thank you! Also thank you for constantly showing support on the videos, I really do appreciate it!
You talk/sound like @HarryHas
Never heard that before! I'm going to take it as a complement though!
quality video mate
Cheers man! Glad you enjoyed it!
high quality video and editing for such a small creator
That means so much to hear man! Glad you enjoyed the content!
New subscriber here, waiting for new content, love the vaporfly 3 video
Ah thank you so much for subscribing! New content every week at 6pm on Saturday (UK Time)
I got a month left of training before my first marathon and this was eye opening. I appreciate it homie
Good luck with your first marathon man! Soak up the atmosphere, you only get to run your first marathon once!
Great picks! And great content! This channel is going to blow up soon. Keep up the great work💪🏼 Also, I like the HOKA Mach 6 for my speed sessions. Give em a try!
Ah that means's so much to hear, thank you! I'm glad you love the videos! I've seen them! I almost bought HOKAs for Manchester Marathon!
The VAPE 3’s are UGLY . The heel likes like the back of a tugboat. Now the VAPE 2’s are the prettiest racing shoes ever created. I consider the VAPE 2% to be the GOAT of racing shoes.
i am preparing for my first half marathon and this is really helping me
Good luck dude! Go smash it, I hope the tips help!
Enjoying the content bud!
I appreciate that man!
Loved your review man. I wanted to ask that can i use these shoes as a daily trainer and what is your opinion regarding its durability?
I used these as a daily trainer for quire some time and they held up pretty good! If you're running on roads and paths then you'll be absolutely fine! But if you go on grass/trails a lot then maybe look for something with a little more durability in the sole!
I feel like there's very little content (that I follow) that uploads on a Saturday so I'd say keep with Saturday!
I catch up on all my channels in the evening so either day works…….helpful I know 😂
Looks like a great event 👌
Nice hoodie! I have one too
Nice video! But what is your thoughts after 250 Miles? Didnt get that :)
Blowing up for your first marathon is a right of passage. Great job on not giving up and seeing it through ! No matter how fast you get, those last 6 miles always feel the same 😅
Aha cheers man! I have well and truly been christened by the marathon distance now! Re-build and regroup for next time, but I am sure those last 6 will be horrible no matter what!
Congrats! You crushed it. Watched your whole series and I loved it. Looking forward to what’s to come.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the series! More work to do so stay tuned!
New Balance Rebel v4. As comfortable, if not more, cheaper, and better lockdown.
Well done good recap. You hit the wall but regrouped. I don't think you went out too fast. You just got your nutrition a little wrong. Gel every 25 mins is a better strategy. Hope this helps dont want to be critical you did amazing very good debut time
Thank you so much! I defo have a lot to learn about the nutrition side, will try new strategies now race day is done so thank you again for the tips!
Shake out runs are simply a way to get the legs moving after the taper and some carb loading. For most of us this means no more than 30 mins but running ‘to feel’ is exactly what you should do.
Thank you so much for this comment! Glad I was along the right lines with mine then!
Great job 👍 good idea for putting your number on the night before I always stress about that. I think it’s easy to underestimate marathons some RUclipsrs make it seem easy I appreciate you keeping it real. After my first marathon I said to myself never again 😂 but then a week later I signed up for the Yorkshire marathon and entered the ballet for the London marathon 😂
Putting the bib number on just made me feel like everything was ready for me to race! Glad you enjoyed the videos, marathons are by no means easy and if I ever say that I give you permission to slate me in the comments! Good luck with your training and the Ballot!
Congrats again! Great recap. I'm 30 marathons in and I still get emotional at the finish line. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for you.
Ah 30 is insane! I hope to have that many under my belt one day! Thank you for the kind words!
Great effort, thats a great time for your first marathon! Ive registered for Manchester next year, looks like a great race
I too have signed up for Manchester again! Thank you for the kind words, maybe see you next year!
Well done, Dan!
Well done 👏 marathons are no joke. I completed my first marathon on Sunday and the last 6 miles were brutal. I was a little disappointed with the time but then I thought to myself 6 months ago I couldn’t even run a mile and I am sooooo proud of myself.
Exactly, the actual race is your victory lap! All the hard work was done in the months leading up! Congrats man!
Unreal effort and mentality. Once again living the dream!
Great Job!!! Very impressive!! I have enjoyed watching your journey! Congratulations on a finish and an amazing time!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the videos, watch this space for a new series starting very soon 👀
This vode made me happy! Congratulations on the marathon and you did so well!
Thank you so much! And thank you for the constant support throughout the series, it means a lot!
I've been following your progress for a while, and the videos are great 👍 congratulations on the marathon 👏
Ahh that means so much to hear, thank you! Glad you like the videos, and thank you once again!
Cool time Respect
Brilliant effort that. Good to meet you on the day mate. Until next time, keep up the good work. 🫡
You too man! Keep pushing for that sub 3, can’t wait to see you achieve it! See you again sometime soon!
Marathons are bloody hard. I also felt this too mate. Went out for a 3:15 and ended with a 3:24. Hello 32km…my legs were absolutely finished but I loved every minute of it. On to the next one bud! Well done!!!
You’re not wrong, 100% got humbled, but we learn, grow and go attack the next one! Good luck with your journey!
