Nice review. How do the weights compare with the Vaporfly 3 in your UK 9.5? Presume you prefer the AF3 to the VF3 or is it too early to tell yet? In my boat UK 13 feet there is quite a difference - VF3 255g, AF3 291g. I have only done one slowish run in my AF3 so far and certainly could feel the extra as it were. They are at least lighter the two previous versions but I think am still preferring the Vaporflys generally.
Thank you man! I don't think I've ran in them enough to know which I prefer, I do love my Vaporfly's and they're going to be hard to beat! I'm excited to see just how well they perform in the coming miles! I didn't notice the extra weight in all honesty, unlike running in invincible 3's which are significantly heavier underfoot!
I do have a question. Is the mid-arch still poking up like V1 and V2. It hurts my arches badly, can't wear.both but can wear all versions of the vaporfles. Let us know.
That's my bad wording in the video! Thank you for pointing it out, something always sips through the net! I meant they are the lightest Alphafly ever made 😅

Weirdly I think I prefer the arch in the Alphafly 3 compared to the Vaporfly 3, I'll look into this and see if I can work out the differences!
How many miles can I race in them until they lose energy return?
I'm not fully sure on this as of yet! But most carbon shoes get somewhere between 175-250 miles depending on how you strike the floor, pace, etc!
Oh
Fancy buying me a pair?
You're a funny one!
Also it’s not even close to Nikes lightest shoe: the vaporfly and streak fly and dragonfly are way lighter
Yeah I did wonder if Dan meant the lightest Alphafly version which it is for me in a UK 13. v1 302g, v2 325g, v3 291g

Life long habit! I know it's meant to be nik-e😂
