little update: the capes have been confirmed to be for java as well! get them on bedrock & eventually they’ll show up on java too!!

Already have my twitch one, (I’ve been playing consistently for 12 years) after I missed out on the Minecon cape when I lived in Orlando at the time, yeah I’m gonna do everything I can to get a hold of an official cape. Wish they had done a cape for the 10 year.

How come I'm mad I bought it full price years ago LOL? I'm not even actually mad, I just always wished Minecraft would go on sale so I wouldn't have to spend so much. I used my very first paycheck from my very first job to buy Minecraft Java Edition.
it was like $20 & you can get hundreds of hours worth fun gameplay. its worth even $70

The crafting thing we saw in that one seen is actually the second gift. What's interesting is it shows the old Notch apple recipe with the gold block and apple. Idk if this is the devs hinting at adding the feature back, or if it's just to commemorate the good ol days. maybe commemeration, as that is the theme of the gifts.

@wattles The thing with the apple and gold block had the same top design as a crafting table, so maybe something to a golden or enchanted golden apple?

I think that’s not an apple but a cherry. As they do lots of things with villagers in the upcoming update, that could be a farmer’s hat (new variant selling/buying different things) or a completely new profession

As for how long the sale is on, on Steam Dungeons and Legends are on sale until the 29th of May, so I assume that's the timeline in general.

We've seen Minecraft Dungeons, and Minecraft Legends. Now we need to see Minecraft Warriors, with smooth combat systems and a new animation style similar to something like Squared Media's Steve and Alex Adventures series. What better way to celebrate 15 years?

I've been so sad about it that I planned to get all capes I can get my hands on and I heard there was going to be a TikTok one and I don't own a TikTok just not my thing and thought I'd get it anyway so I didn't miss out on any Cape, but now seeing it I actually love it and really want it, never thought I'd say that
Same, I owned Java and bedrock on my pc, but then I got a virus in may 2022 and didn’t get it back until end of June 2022 (deadline was June 6th), so I didn’t get the vanilla cape because my computer had to get factory reset :(. Ive nearly sworn that I’d never touch TikTok since it’s such a dirty platform imo, but now that there’s a Minecraft cape that looks fire, I might make an account, get the cape, and never use TikTok again 👍

I unfortunately don't have a laptop so I can't play dungeons or Legends. But I will say they really want to do something special for the 15-year anniversary just roll out a whole bunch of some of those mobs in dungeons into the game already!

idk if it's relevant anymore but i just claimed the creeper cape. On the minecraft website, if you scroll down and mine the little sparkly bits you get the cape. There will be a few shiney spots just click all of them.
