hardcore punk is still the same. i would classify these guys as hardcore. hardcore punk is called that way because it is a faster and more aggressive version of punk. HP evolved, dropping the speed and becoming heavier, dropping the punk aspects of it and just becoming known as hardcore. bands of this genre are gorilla biscuits, madball, agnostic front, sick of it all, blood for blood, etc. those are hardcore bands. these guys stay true to that sound. there are many modern bands ex asking alexan
