great video my friend. the US debt and deficit is unsustainable. One aspect no one talks about is the fact government is so fat and the debt is so high, is causing a "leak" to the monetary policy. The high interest rates are supposed to "reduce demand and limit spending", but folks making 5% on short term bonds for last 2 yrs already is translating into additional spending. The US is on a destructive path. It has already subjugated 2 or 3 generations for pay its debt. The only way is to shrink the government but it won't happen. SAD.
YES we will learn to live with these rates! This is more normalized not zero % rate we have been spoiled with ..
So what’s the target? My swing is for end of the year or when rate cuts happen?
Appreciate the breakdown!
Welcome back Katty! Hope everything is well🫡
I think you had fly delayed with that bad weather
No TMF chart shown. Just TLT. Buy in sympathy with TLT support? Thanks.
I think they will lower rates
Interesting. I like your point of view. However. I think JP will cut rate despite all your reasoning if in unemployed rate goes above 4% for 2 Q or GDP goes -% for 2Q.
Because JP doesn’t want to cut rate before breaking stuff therefore we can still see rate cuts in the near terms. The theory of it go under 80 is really unlikely even 86 I think is the absolute bottom. Compare to Moe, I like your reasoning better but too much technical analysis which are facts but doesn’t work in reality. I hope I didn’t come out strong with my opinions but I like this video. Thank you for your effort.
Will rate cuts benefit TMF?
Absolutely!
