FCP is in the light weight category that should be compared to like Capcut, Not with the Heavy weights like Davinci and Premiere. its like comparing retail camera with cinema cameras.

You also have things like motionVFX design studio if you wanna save time and have drag and drop assets that speeds up your editing process by a mile. Edit: I've been using it for years, I'm apple pro verified so yeah, I think I can talk.

If you’re going to be working on heavy projects or graphics I would go with 32gb RAM or more, besides that I think you’ll be set.
