I came here faster than Marques in a 35MPH zone, lol. 🌚 Real talk though, this isn't Marques' first time speeding either. At 9:26 in his video "Porsche Taycan Turbo: I Almost Switched! 1:24 It would be nice to have an explanation of why MKBHD was speeding, why he thought the clip should be included in the video, if he reviewed the video before uploading it, why they made the decision to remove it instead of brushing over it like “I forgot to indicate right at an intersection, oops! 😅”

But when you make a mistake like the speeding or people calling you out for the price of the wallpaper app you should own that and at least respond to that criticism and not divert to "people hated the sponsored video", this makes it feel like you are hiding the truth and it continues to lower our trust in you and your content. Driving like that was one decision, including the footage for public viewing was another decision on top of that, and blurring out the speedometer in that footage was another decision on top of that. So if DJI can be a a sponsor, even if the team makes sure no future reviews/opinions are created or created without disclosure, how would I know whether a review for a DJI competitor like GoPro can be as fair as possible?
because he doesn't review action cameras. he reviews phones and computers mostly, so he wouldn't take a sponsorship for a phone or a computer. He has never ever reviewed an action camera so that's totally in line with what they said in those videos

The title is why people are mad.. if we click knowing this a video for this it’s expected but this one was implying the video was more fun than selling me something
With ads in general most people are kind of tired of it being so intrusive everywhere, still a full video sponsor is more damaging to anyone’s brand than mid segments sponsor segment. That being said, most of the sponsor segments in other creator’s videos that I’ve enjoyed and not really mind being in a video is when is integrated into the end of a good conversation in a funny clever way. I’ve bought some of those products in your mid sponsor segments and for this type of video structure, your mid segment are done relatively well. Wabalubudubdub!!! Good day!
1. I think the speeding thing deserves more than one sentence 2. I see your point regarding sponsored videos being not frequent. However, you always claimed to never review something from a company that sponsored you. Following that I don't understand why you restrict yourself to being unable to review any DJI product in the future.
You should have a poll asking your audience if we have a problem with paid videos. Do not allow the minority to dictate your content just because they are loud
in my opinion, the problem with the latest sponsored vid was that i felt you guys tried to really oversell this product, so more that the point that it was sponsored it felt like an ad(like ok u guys like the action cam, but the review didn’t feel natural)
TLDR: felt like a TV ad masquerading as a review, not a sponsored video. 2:45 Sticking strictly to the sponsored video: I wouldn't mind it if only it was up front and obvious from the get go. It felt like it was a fake review for a quick and substantial buck. There was hardly any contextualizing, comparison, or anything, so the added value message got lost. I also noticed that that video didn't open with the usual preview of "this is sponsored but I actually like it" - which, imo, benefits the reception of the video. I liked Becca's video (not that it was sponsored, I believe) about this same product a lot because of the goods-and-bads breakdown, the disadvantages in a person's everyday use of it, etc. That video didn't have it.
Don't take the backlash too personally. I watched most of the DJI video and it was made pretty clear it was a sponsored video from the beginning. I honestly stopped watching about halfway through since I have no interest in an action camera and I got a little bored. But wow, I was super confused at the backlash when I read the comments. I think a lot of people on the internet are just looking for something to hate, and it makes them feel like they're part of something morally superior when they jump on a bandwagon telling someone else that they are wrong... Which is ironic, because there's nothing morally superior about a mass group tearing someone down 100x more than they deserve.
i dont understand the hate on the paid product video, when you got videos on something like Short Circuit that are fully sponsored for a product pretty often. People gotta get paid, you got an entire office of workers to pay. As long as it's honestly a product you would use

Good day!
MKBHD goes faster than a DeLorean going 88mph
Marques, FBI, good to see you. We’re here to talk about your DJI video 👮♂️
1. I think the speeding thing deserves more than one sentence 2. I see your point regarding sponsored videos being not frequent. However, you always claimed to never review something from a company that sponsored you. Following that I don't understand why you restrict yourself to being unable to review any DJI product in the future.
what more do yall want out of him lol
My favorite final cut 11 feature was the ability to drive 95 mph in a school zone

evrybody is here!
You should have a poll asking your audience if we have a problem with paid videos. Do not allow the minority to dictate your content just because they are loud
It's that time of the week. 🍺😃 Weekend is here!
I am back on dishes duty! 💯✊
I drove 96MPH in a 35MPH zone just to come and comment this.
Yeah I think the problem with the DJI video was the felony speeding and then deleting comments that were pointing out the felony speeding
The Scouts look like the classic Scout vehicles. Rivian was inspired by Scout.
I find it hilarious when 2 guys with beards advertise Henson Shaving.
absolutely no surprise that Ellis plays wood instruments
in my opinion, the problem with the latest sponsored vid was that i felt you guys tried to really oversell this product, so more that the point that it was sponsored it felt like an ad(like ok u guys like the action cam, but the review didn’t feel natural)
If you love the 90's ranger check out kei trucks imported from Japan. That's a micro-truck beauty. The truck of my dreams, and probably yours too.
we're just skeptical of all ads inherently, so if it's paid for we assume it's not true. i trust u guys tho i think
Brilliant visual and audio effects based on the explanation.
TLDR: felt like a TV ad masquerading as a review, not a sponsored video. 2:45
Sticking strictly to the sponsored video: I wouldn't mind it if only it was up front and obvious from the get go.
Mark my word, I get the feeling David will leave mkbhd! 👀 Hope I am wrong!
Preach!
i dont understand the hate on the paid product video, when you got videos on something like Short Circuit that are fully sponsored for a product pretty often. People gotta get paid, you got an entire office of workers to pay. As long as it's honestly a product you would use
1990 ford electric ranger im with you

ah the nostalgia of hair getting caught in the folding mechanism!
My Chevy Volt runs the same way, it’s a great car I just do wish the pure EV range was higher
That fan art is excellent!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I'm just here for the 'whoops' soundbite
