Beautiful candles, I bet they smell so nice! I have the Heidi Swapp Minc Machine in both the large size like you have, and the Mini size, which is good for making cards. I watch a channel called NancyStamps, that woman knows everything there is to know about foiling and foil machines, including toner foiling with the Minc machines, but I have never seen her show that tip about removing the over-foiling with a Lysol wipe! She mostly works on cardstock, it appears your labels are printed on a glossy type of sticker paper? They turn out so nice. Whoever said to try a lower heat has a point, you may get less over-foiling that way. Also, if you take a soft, clean makeup powder brush used only for foiling, and dust the front of your labels and the back of your foil, that will help avoid bad adhesion due to dust particles. Just a tip! 😊
The reason you have all that over foiling is that your heat setting is too high. Try turning down and it shouldn’t happen anymore I’d recommend a 2 or 3 and you shouldn’t need to wipe anything off.
What type of blank labels are you using before printing? What is the texture like? I am looking for something matte but still resistant to oils and smudges.

@@sshannon4164 you would print the label with an ink jet printer and the logo with a laser jet printer. So first print it out without the logo on your ink jet. Then take the same print out and put it into your laser jet print to print the logo onto it. Remember the foil will only stick on the laser printer ink.

I believe the temperature you used was too high, a 2-3 heat level would've done the job. Also you can use a make up brush to clean it off. You can also use a Heat Press (Aprox. 310° F for 15-20seconds) if you don't have that machine. It all depends on your Heat Press.
