Mind Blown!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this technique!! So are the labels waterproof? In have ordered from online labels before & didn't think they were waterproof? Does the thermal heating make it that way??? This is so awesome.
@@loveandcocandleshi there! I gave this a try and the foil didn’t come off as easily 😢 are you using 3M or 5M when putting through the laminator? I don’t have the Amazon one but have a similar one scotch thermal laminator. I figured it would work the same but for some reason the soil isn’t removing as easily 😢any tips?? Thanks!! ❤
@shola_victoria we use 3M and we use labels made for laser printers w/toner. Ink jet will not work. And we use a plain sheet of paper over it when we run it through.
Just a week ago I've decided to revisit one of my winter season hobbies from the past, yes making candles. Now, when I saw you guys, this made me say let's try it again along with another RUclips Influencers. But one thing about your video that inspired me even more in this video along with your other videos. On this video, you both showed me how to make something with canva and make it look like it was made from a professional label company. So, with all that said, I do have long question.. Did you say in the video, you listed the scent name? Is that same as the fragrance that you used? Because in the mist of my research this go around. I read that it is illegal to list the fragrance oil name because that fragrance oil that is used to make the candle is trademark. I am just simply confused about that part. Can you help me understand? Thank you for sharing this and the rest of your video I've watched so far, they're inspiring and beautiful. I did subscribe to this channel I am looking forward to many more of your videos to come. ❤❤🎉🎉😊
We're glad you enjoy our videos and are happy to be part of the inspiration for you to get back to candle making. While it is technically legal to use the fragrance oil name on candles, it's not always advisable as some fragrance names might be trademarked. Lavender & Vanilla is not likely able to be copyrighted/trademarked, but Chanel #5 definitely is. You could make a candle with a Chanel scent and say it's inspired by Chanel but name it something else. We would suggest talking with someone who deals with trademarks and copyrights for all the regulations since we can't advise on legal issues. We use names that we thought of on our products but list the main fragrance oil scents used so people can get an idea of what they smell like and since people are familiar with lavender, rose, and jasmine, etc. it makes them more comfortable with what they are buying. Hope that helps.
Hi, thanks so much for your calm and easy to follow tutorial. This is in bo way a criticism, just something i noticed (you've probably already corrected it anyway) but on your room spray instructuon card, you have spelt ingest as injest. Everything is so professional so I'm sure you already changed it, but just in case it had slipped through. I would want to be told. Xxxx
Hi ladies I tried to of the foil labels and I ordered everything you had listed. I have Avery label 22853 glossy clear film. And when I put it through the laminator with the foil and the piece of paper to hold things in place but it ends up like lamenating things together and when I separate the top paper it ruins the rest of the labels that I did not use can you help and maybe share what I could be doing wrong? Is it the type of labels? Thank you for all your helpful tips!
@vanessainezcortez3190 The main thing is to make sure the labels are made for, and printed on a laser printer. We got our labels from Online Labels. It's kind of hard to troubleshoot without seeing it though.
Unfortunately Labels are our least favorite thing to make. Maybe we will offer this in the future when we can get more equipment for it though. Thanks for asking.
I absolutely love this video I was about to pay so much money for a company to do this for me this is a life saver
Wow you guys rock! Thank you for sharing! ❤

These are water-resistant because they are clear matte gloss labels. Everything stays on pretty well on these.
Thank you ❤
Thanks for sharing this is so helpful!! I currently send my labels out for the gold foil! I’m definitely going to try this at home now 🫶🏾❤️
You are so welcome! It's worth a try, especially if you ever have a time crunch and need them quickly.

@loveandcocandles wow yes it does make a lot of sense now that is explained clearly. Thanks a million 😊 Happy holidays to you and yours. 😊
Good Evening Ladies, I would like to thank you for sharing! I would love to know where could I get the bottles you are using for the room spray ?
We get the square bottles from Makesy.com and we are looking for other places to get them from. Once we find them we will include them in a video.
@ .. thank you so much 😊 I have also ordered my jar aura 8oz jar from them ! Can you share your thoughts on those jars since I’m a new candle maker?
@mrsbrown4347 we love these vessels though they do sell out of the colors we use often. Our customers love them too.

@@loveandcocandles that makes perfect sense I didn’t check that when ordering the labels I will try online labels and check back thank you ladies ☺️
What ink did you use because mine is smudging and the gold foil did not transfer. I have an Epson ET-2850 printer. Should I use sublimation ink?
Hi, this method only works with laser printer toner and laser ready labels.
@ Thank you. That makes sense now.
would you consider doing some gold labels for our candles?
Unfortunately Labels are our least favorite thing to make. Maybe we will offer this in the future when we can get more equipment for it though. Thanks for asking.
Why kind of paper is that on the labels?
It's clear matte for laser printers from Online Labels
@@loveandcocandles thank you
@@loveandcocandles can i print the labels with Online Labels and then do the gold foil at home?
Remember that you have to print your labels with a laser printer. If you print your labels with inkjet printer this job do not going to be successful.
