Back when the Badlands was all Orcs and Goblins. 😆 Today it's also rife with Skaven, Daemons, and Beastmen. It's great to see how much this game has grown over time.
Yeah, though I kind of miss how each area felt 'themed' when the range of races you'd encounter in each area was more limited. It felt more lore appropriate, and gave different regions a very different vibe in terms of what factions you'd encounter.
Both poles of the planet have Warp Gates constructed originally by the Old Ones to access the Realm of Chaos, the Northern one is more relevant to the story though, in part because there's more people near the North Pole and part because the Lizardmen kinda got the South Pole on lock. Chaos Daemons come from the gates and people living near them are likely to be corrupted. The badass guy at the end of the trailer is Archaon the Everchosen, champion of Chaos Undivided and basically the biggest villain in Warhammer Fantasy and he's a corrupted human. In addition, the Winds of Magic from which magic users draw their strength flow from one pole to the other, I think both directions but I'm not sure.
Weeeeeell, about the dwarfs being a problem for orcs and goblins, they are but you gotta understand something about orcs and goblins, they live to fight, they must fight like we need to eat and they actively seek out a good scrap, and a true orc Waagh though rare can annihilate a dwarf hold. Also Skaven live in abandoned dwarf cities and there are worse things still that dwell under and in the mountains
that man with the horns is none other than Archaon the thirteenth Everchosen, the grand marshal of the apocalypse and the lord of the Endtimes, it was he who led chaos to victory during the end times, his lore vid is on the discord but just let me say this, Archaon is a world Ender
The badlands are the area directly southward of the warhammer equivalent of Europe, making it a sort of Africa style continent. The region is inhabited by Dwarf holds in the scattered mountain ranges, greenskin, beastmen, and ogre mercenaries filling out the arid planes areas, and skaven clans infesting the ruins along the edges of the dwarf domain. Located somewhere in the eastern part of this region is Karak Eight Peaks, once the cream of the crop for Dwarf architecture, engineering, and culture, now the site of a threeway war between Clan Mors, the Crooked Moons, and The Dwarfs of Clan Angrund, led by Belegar Ironhammer. Directly north of the badlands is the frontier region of the Empire known as the border princes, an impromptu free-state known to be home to all manner of dissidents and cutthroats who thought moving south would be better living than remaining in the relative security of the Northern realms of mankind, only to discover the region was arguably worse than any grievances they had back in the North, and that's ONLY if they don't end up raided by mutants and orcs before getting caught up in the endless chaos of interstate warfare that represents the Border Princes.
Hon hon hon, indeed my liege, ti's true, these art the lands of fair Bretonnia where we, ze Knights of Bretonnia fight for Ze lady and ze grail. hon hon hon. my horrible joke written here aside, yup you are correct, it is bretonnia, btw the "lady" the brettonnians worship, is the elven godess lileath, though bretonnians do not know this and the wood elves find this funny
The Badlands are to the south (of the Empire), the Dark Lands are to the East. Don't worry, I got them confused when I first got into Warhammer too. Or as OfficiallyDevin calls them in his very funny parody/summary 'Scandawegenmark'. Btw, 'Old World' (referring to Eurasia) and 'New World' (referring to the Americas) are terms from the real world as well. Not sure if there's equivalents in Norwegian.
Thank you guys so much for your support ❤🎉

👀😱
The old world is the map for TWWH1. Game 2 is the new world and game 3 adds the polar wastes and the far east.
Oh, is that how it's devided! Thank you for your comment and telling me ❤

He sounds like the most epic character ever 😮 Holy crap! 😱 Thank you for your comment! ❤

I'll reiterate that I like that you are doing them all one by one, especially if you manage to keep up the current release pace.
Thank you so much for saying that! ❤ Helps a lot with supporting voices to counter those who say the oposite 😅😍❤️
@@OleHerland i too support this,it's fun
Baldermort's Death Korps of Krieg. A video that introduces you to the Death Korps in a unique way. I'd give it a try.
