mike is amazing... i don't have celebrity crushes.. but i feel immense passion for him.. he is so phenomenal and his range is beyond impressive..almost ethereal.. he is also extremely beautiful.. and to boot my best buddy knew him back when they did EPIC and they partied together cuz they had the same friend... my friend said he was an out of the box type guy.. and i happened to text him EPIC video saying how back then the more weird faces you made the more people liked you or something funny like that and he said they were practicing them one night when they were hanging out... so in a strange way i feel like i was friends with him too... he has always been really cool to fans also...i love how he is eccentric like me.. love you mike wherever you are I hope you are better. I wanted to see them live but he canceled cuz he is the type of person to give 100% or he wont do it at all...i hope his mental health is improving...we talk about you often. Always wishing you nothing but pure awesomeness in your life cuz you are the coolest dude on the planet! hope i see faith no more cuz i'm not getting any younger and i've missed out on too much

i think it's wild how, with all this crazy shit he can do with his voice, as far as i know, he was never trained vocally, he taught himself how to do all this. not only is he extremely gifted vocally, but he's written and preformed entire movie scores (go check out his work on Crank 2: High Voltage, if you haven't already heard it, even though all the songs are incredibly short, with the longest song being over a little over four minutes, it's still phenomenal, considering the fact that he made it all by himself, like, he wrote it, preformed it, produced it, all that shit... all by himself). and again, he's pretty much self-taught. that just blows me away, because he's not just singing, screaming and rapping or only playing one instrument, he's doing all these crazy things with his voice and composing whole movie scores, with no training whatsoever. amazing.

@@natalierozean5989 you'd be surprised how many musicians are untrained. as a musician myself actually, i've learned that it's better to experiment by yourself than to be taught, because when you're not confined to the limits if music theory, you're able to exercise your creativity and create something unique and you might even end up inventing a genre, like Mr. Bungle. Mike just seemed to take that idea and ran with it, because he's said in interviews that he tries to push the limits of what the human voice is actually capable of, and by experimenting with himself, he was able to discover his gift. it can be difficult to wrap your head around the fact that Mike Patton is actually a human, and not some sort of vocal god, lol.
