  • I am not a regular youtuber or speaker, so I apologize for the mumbling here and there. this is just to show the inside of Beelink's new SER8 8845HS mini pc and help people understand how to open and dissassemble the computer without breaking anything important. There is an above average number of pieces inside this mini pc, and I wanted to nerd out a little bit because it's an interesting machine to dissasemble.

    My SER8 came with those silly screw plugs as well. I updated mine with a second SSD and the latest gen WiFi 6 card.

    They should include 4 extra pads in the box but yeah silly design decision. Hopefully the next model has a magnetic panel or a latch system if that'll mess with WiFi.

    One thing this medal case does is kill wifi and Bluetooth reception

    Is this working with 2 monitors 4k×144Hz ?

      Sorry, I don't have those kinds of displays to test. Works fine with 4k 60hz and can run several simultaneously. On paper if you connect the two 4k 144hz displays to the hdmi 2.1 and displayport 1.4 it should work but this won't run a lot of games at this high of a bandwidth so I assume you're just using this for web browsing, watching some videoes, and light stuff.
