    Hi
    I have this laptop to.
    This memory brings xmp 3.0 but the laptop don't have xmp. The speed is good without xmp?
    One more question:
    I want change the ssd and think in Samsung 990 pro, but i see in specs of the ssd, he got nvme 2.0. So the laptop support nvme 2.0 or only nvme 1.4?
    Thank you

    I bought a Kingston Fury 32GB DDR5 ram for my Asus Gu603(12700H), the machine has only one ram slot, after the new ram installed, machine can’t boot up, the power led keep flashing two times repeatedly, do you know why? Funny thing is we both use Asus laptop and Kingston DDR5.

      Have you tried removing the RAM and powering the laptop and everything works fine?
      If yes.
      Did you also turn the RAM the other way round. Because if you watch my video, I did mention that DDR5 has equal length for both sides, which makes it will be difficult to determine which side faces up and which side face down. Unlike the DDR4 that has different length for the sides.

    I have the ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17SE G733CX-XS97 with the i9-12950HX Processor from May 2022 with 32GB upgradable to 64GB. I believe is the upgraded version of your model, and I'm unsure which RAM speed I should choose. I have seen comments online not to exceed the speed recommended by the motherboard, but I have no idea what that recommended speed is.
    Can you give the specifics on the RAM you used to upgrade with? Is it Kingston Technology Fury Beast Black 64GB 4800MT/s DDR5 CL38 XMP 3.0 Ready Computer Memory (Kit of 2) KF548C38BBK2-64? Or Kingston Technology Fury Beast Black 64GB 5200MT/s DDR5 CL40 XMP 3.0 Ready Computer Memory (Kit of 2) KF552C40BBK2-64, or Kingston Technology Fury Beast Black 64GB 5600MT/s DDR5 CL40 XMP 3.0 Ready Computer Memory (Kit of 2) KF556C40BBK2-64.

      My laptop came with 4800, I upgraded to the same 4800.
      If your laptop came with 5200 or 5600 you can upgrade with that.

    • @hansjoachimludwid3219
      @hansjoachimludwid3219 Год назад

      Mine comes with 4800 but couldn't I upgrade to 6000 or if they'll be available at some time in the future with 7000 for example? In comparisons it can make a difference of 5-15% in fps from 4800 to 6400mhz

    • @hyperion8650
      @hyperion8650 Год назад

      @@hansjoachimludwid3219you can't make that upgrade I'm the future sadly. The motherboard / cpu for laptop was only made for handling the specified speed, and I imagine going above it would either not work (not boot / not be used / etc) or could damage the motherboard. Barely the laptops from this year are going to allow for 5k something speeds on ram. Either way, I think 4800 is good enough, although it doesn't show soo much improvement compared to DDR4
