I really appreciate the insights I gain from your channel and the Stoic philosophy, but sometimes the ideas seem more theoretical than practical. For example, the concept that reconciliation is a myth-many relationships do reconcile and continue to thrive. While Stoicism offers valuable guidance, real life often demands flexibility, and each situation requires a unique approach. When you say "burn the bridge and never look back," I believe that applies if the person has done something terrible, like cheating. In such cases, leaving is necessary. However, in many other situations, things can improve over time because, at the end of the day, people have emotions and relationships can heal.
My ex left me for her fella who she was with before who she kept telling me was violent to them. I made a mistake and I slept with my ex and as god as my witness it just happened as she was at my house shes the mother of my son too we have alot of history. But I cannot stay in that environment of lies and narcissistic behaviour from her the ex who left to be with her fella who she I believe was having an affair on with me I loved her so so much and I really wanted and still want to help her smile and be happy. This is killing me I cannot forget her
FORGET HER..... nobody meant to be in your life would stress you that much.....why should only you be the one making an effort to keep things together....I know it's hard,but DO IT
It will all be allright, keep calm, and there is no more time and room for lies and games she played with you, so forget her, cut her off and dont destroy yourself, this is not the end, you can make yourself better by forgetting them and never give them any form of contact, move on and remember it will be better, no storm lasts forever brother, I personally feel better after cutting all that drama and nonsense off, which i experienced last year, just take your time, no matter how bad you feel. You will get stronger when you realise the only one that you need is you 🫡
